  This bed is great! It's high, easy to assemble and very very sturdy. I stained it a dark cherry color and glossed it. It looks like a $500 bed now! The bed is also easy to disassemble if I ever want to move it out of the room it's in now.

  Ok, I bought this bed because of the reviews and the drawers. The wood of the drawers did not fit together, had holes where they shouldn't have (two holes 90 degrees from eachother on one drawer!) and some of the holes were just plain rotted thru!
  another reason why you should not buy this bed is YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! Not only is it unfinished, but it's unfinished in such a way as to GIVE YOU SPLINTERS. There were splinters all over my room for days before I vacuumed and vacuumed to get them all out. Then, I called the company and they TOTALLY argued with me trying to convince me to keep the bed!! They said that they WOULDN'T TAKE THE BED BACK until they spoke to my handyman about what EXACTLY was the problem!!! wHAT NERVE! Then, TO TOP IT OFF! They LIED to me saying that they would pay for the shipping and they mailed me shipping labels. When they got the bed back they said that we have to pay 130 for shipping (shipping cost us less then 70 originally) saying there was nothing wrong with the bed. I spent more money somewhere else but they had an ironclad guarantee like a decent company should. Again, do NOT BUY THIS BED!

  I am pleased with the bed. It's a very nice color. Going to stain it when I move out. But it's lovely and tall and sturdy. I broke it in the other day to find that it makes minimal noise!! That was one of the main reasons for buying a wood bed. I hope this bed lasts better than the last one :/

  This bed was easy to assemble and looked gorgeous stained in a dark wood color. it took a few days to stain and gloss but when it was all put together it looked like some of the many expensive beds i had considered buying before finding this one. Putting it together is simple, just dont mix up the bolts! love this bed frame.

  The king size bed did come with 2 mid-rail supports that run from the headboard to the footboard, but those supports had no extra "legs" underneath them. Maybe the manufacturer feels you don't need them, but I fabricated 4 legs and attached them myself. I have never seen a king size bed that didn't have legs in the center of the bed. Also, this bed does not work with a select comfort or sleep number bed mattress without major alterations.

  Ok i bought this so i could put a memory foam matress on it.I come to find out that it needs a flat surface to sit on or the warranty will be void on my matress so i had to buy plywwood to put over the slats on this bed.The lady i talked to at room doctor said to use a pice of cardboard.
  
  The only real gripe i have is how the slats are installed.They are just layed in with out being secured with a nail or screw.They use nylon straps to hold them with tension betweeen blocks on the frame.As stated above if you use a memory foam matress forget about this bed you need a flat surface for it to sit on.If you are using any memory foam matress ask what the matress needs to be on before you buy a bed frame as it may void your warranty.

• Very High Qality Bed!

  I am extreemly happy with my purchase of this wooden platform bed. The quality is so much better than I expected, and the price is insanely low for the quality you get. The bed took all of 10 minutes to put together, and is far sturdier than I had imagined. Usually with most "Assembly Required" items there is at least one frustrating part of the assembly, and most of the time the Instructions are a vital part of the process. With this I didn't bother even looking at the instructions until after the bed was assembeled to make sure I did it right, and the thing went together so easy I was sure I had forgotten to do something! Very solid and sturdy construction, and provides excellent support. The past month I've owned this bed I've slept better than I have in a long time! And the quiet factor is a huge bonus! I live with roommates, so I have to worry about the ammount of noise my bed makes, and this solved that problem perfectly! I recomend this to anyone that is looking to upgrade your current bed, and the solid wood platform bed definately adds some style too!

  If you're thinking about buying this bed for kid who likes to jump on their bed, I wouldn't recommend this one. Our 4 year old cracked some of the support slats that go under the mattress within a week.

  Very sturdy, affordable, and easy-to-assemble all-wood bed in a simple, pleasing, platform design. My only complaint was both the bed and drawers were missing some hardware. However, I called the manufacturer's number on the box and they Fed-exed the parts within 3 days. So, no real complaints.

  In 2005 I bought this platform for myself in Queen size, knowing that I would be moving in 2007/2008 and would likely purchase new bedroom furniture for my new home from Pottery Barn. Well, I've moved... and given the solid classic design of this platform, I've decided to spend money on other furniture items instead and purchase a second platform for my daughter, both stained in Mahogany to match the Pottery Barn pieces. Looks lovely with under-bed baskets, easily assembled and disassembled. In fact, while my other furniture traveled with a moving company, the disassembled Queen-size platform fit comfortably in my Subaru Legacy so I could quickly have my bed in my new home. Why spend $2,000 for two beds when I am quite satisfied with these platforms at < $400 ?

  The quality of the bed was fine. I was able to put it together by myself in about 30 minutes. However, I probably could have gotten something of similar quality from Ikea for less. It also took over a week just to be shipped out, but the transit time was only three days. Overall, it's fine for the price.

  This is by far the best bed that I've found in this price range. Not at all difficult to put together. I stained it an espresso brown and get compliments on it all the time. Can't wait to see what it looks like with a different stain for the guest room. Wouldn't hesitate to deal with this company again.

  I got this bed frame because I was looking for an economical bed, that was high for storage and that could be set up in an "L" shape when I wanted to use the guest room as a den. After looking and looking at bed and matress places I found this online and sight un seen ordered 2 hesitantly. They are perfect! Great price, sturdy as a rock easy to set up, versitile no need to buy a box spring room under the bed for storage. Great product. I'd never buy a metal frame again. I'm surprized they don't cary these in mattress stors, or even the unfined furniture store that I tried. Hats off to this company for making a good solid all wood product, just like the good old days. Thanks.

  I was able to assemble this bed by myself in 20 minutes. It came with everything I needed and was designed to be problem free to build and is VERY sturdy. The twin fiber foam futon I purchased from the same seller to go on top of the bed is not long enough for the bed by about 10 inches, but my toddler son uses that as a platform at the foot of the bed to climb into his new bed which happened to work out perfectly for us! If you buy a futon from them for it and don't want a little extra part of the bed sticking out at the top or bottom, I suggest getting a long twin mattress or futon. I can't believe I could get a bed that is solid wood for the price of particle board. I feel like it was such a good deal!

  Before I purchase anything from Amazon I read all the reviews and weight the positives to the negatives. I thought that the price was extremely reasonable and when I received it I was very happy. It came in two separate boxes. It was easy to assemble and the quality of the wood was true to the description. There were no problems at all to report I rate it 5 stars because I am very happy with the quality of the bed. I did not stain and polyurethane the bed yet--I haven't decided what color to choose from yet. It is very sturdy and well made.

  I bought this bed after reading reviews and searching for a decent platform under $175. Other than this, there are none. It's an easy to assemble bed and is very quiet. It fits nicely in my room, and I am in the middle of staining it.
  
  I do not like how there are dark marks (rotted wood? knots?) in some areas of the wood, but I'm not expecting high quality - that is why I am giving this 4 stars. I bought the full-size bed and find it quite sturdy. Also, the bed was shipped about 4 days after purchase, so I recieved it almost a full week after making the payment, which i did not appreciate. That did not affect the quality of the bed.
  
  The important thing about this bed is that you have to make it your own, meaning put in the time to stain or paint it. That will be key to enjoying it.
  
  I bought a new Sealy mattress to fit on top and it sits fine on top of the platform. Very supportive frame. Definitely a good deal of a purchase.

  For the money, this pine platform bed has amazing value.
  The pine woods smells good - it must have been cured properly.
  The wood is thick, not flimsy.
  Perfect for an organic latex mattress.
  The are very few metal parts, but they are gun metal bolts.
  It was VERY EASY to put together. Done in like 15 minutes.
  The wood has a soft feel to it, and the corners are sanded down so there are no sharp knives sticking out at you.
  Great for a Feng Shui bedroom.
  Only a little piece chipped off, but then again...
  For the money, this pine platform bed has amazing value.

  I was originally trying to order the full, but accidentally ordered the twin because of a problem with the browser. There was no tracking sent and didn't expect the huge shipment to arrive when it did. It's solid, but the wood is splintered in some areas and looks like somebody did some wood patching on it. Seller was fast and helpful in sending the Full size, but overall experience was a pain.

  I purchased this bed after reading and considering all the reviews. I am totally pleased with it and very happy with my purchase. It's a solid, quiet bed. By myself, the assembly took about 30 minutes. I think it would be slightly easier with two people who could likely put it together in 15-20 minutes. The company was thorough and prompt and followed up to make sure I was pleased with their product. Based on my experiences I find the negative reviews hard to fathom, but I find the bed to be a solid and well-priced product.

  My husband and I just bought a king sized memory foam bed and needed a platform for it since our old bed and frame was a queen. We thought it would be cheapest to just make one ourselves, but when we went to the store found that it was going to be kind of pricey. I decided to see if we could buy one instead and started looking on line.
  
  When I found this and read the good reviews I decided to go for it. It cost just as much as building one and we wouldn't have to deal with coming up with a plan of how to build it, and then risk screwing it up (we're not to handy with our hands anyway.
  
  This bed is a DREAM!! It came together in less than a half hour with no hassle at all. We stained it dark to match our furniture and put the bed on it and haven't had one problem. It's suportive and looks nice, could not have asked for a better product!!
