  I just returned from the deep woods and found that this pump was an absolute essential item to the trip. It took me less than 2min to fully inflate a full sized mattress.
  
  When coupled with the coleman 4D pump, it took only 6min to fully inflate a king sized bed. The two pumps together were a perfect combo. If you are inflating more than one bed, you can use the battery, or car pump to get the beds to a certain point, then use the manual pump to finish the job. This pump comes with a variety of nozzles for every bed type in the coleman line, so you wont have to worry about being without comfort or having to look for other accessories.
  
  When it was time to deflate and pack up, I found that by placing the hose on the other air point, I could suck the air from the mattress easily and get it to the point where I could roll it back into the bag without hassle.
  
  I would highly recommend this pump for all coleman air mattresses.

  This pump works great as a backup for our electric. I'm always afraid the electric one will die on me, so I got a manual one. It's easy to use, and fills things really fast since it pumps or sucks air on the up and down stroke.

  This is the perfect pump for an air mattress. It comes with other attachments too. It's easy to use and the best part is NO BATTERIES required! I'd recommend this to anyone.

  This is a great pump that works on both the up and the down pump stroke, allowing you to pump up your item in half the time. I purchased this for a Coleman 5-in-1 air mattress and it works perfectly. Not as fast as an electric pump, but you never have to worry about it running out of juice (unless you pass out from exhaustion). It does take a while to pump up an air mattress, so I wouldn't recommend it to people who have a heart condition or people who need to inflate a lot of large items at once.

  The dual pump sounds like a time saver but the unit is cumbersome to operate and pumping on the up stroke is backbreaking.

  I originally bought this pump and an electric, as I was going to use this as a backup pump. However, this pump can inflate my full size canoe in 2.5 minutes, and is faster and easier than the electric, so I gave the electric pump away.

  The handle was smaller than what the picture showed.
  That meant the pump itself was actually much bigger than expected and took up twice as much space in my bag and had to re-pack twice.
  No real complaint though since after all the other folks started running out of battaries on thier battary operated pumps, this pump was still 4 times faster with only a bit of honest pumping and no disposal of dead battaries.

  Not only does this work beautifully to pump up an air mattress, but it fans a dying campfire too. Just aim the biggest nozzle at the glowing coals and start pumping. Instant flames.
  
  It takes me only a minute or so to blow up my twin-sized thick air mattress. My camping buddy's battery-powered pump takes three times as long and requires four D batteries. Who wants to worry about dead or weak batteries in the middle of the woods?
  
  If you're looking for an air pump go with the manual one. It's fast, easy and doesn't cost a dime to operate. Let the foolish campers worry about where to plug in their electric pumps or where to buy batteries when the old ones fail.

  Kind of bulky but a large size is necessary to produce such an efficient manual powered air pump. It is very light weight and sure to outlast several air mattresses.
  
  
• Works well if you get one without a seam leak

  I purchased one of these pumps locally as I needed it quickly. It was usable but had a leak in the seam of the air hose. I took it back to exchange for a non-defective pump, making sure to test before I left the store. Two more of these pumps also had seam leaks! The last one they had in stock was okay. The hose is thin hard plastic with a seam running lengthwise. I can foresee replacing the hose in the future with something more durable.
  
  
• Very Frusterating

  I'll start by saying that I love Coleman products. This pump was so frustering, the hose is not attached because of the dual action, but there was absolutely no way I could get it attached to either nozzle, it just would not go on. Luckily I have 3 weeks before my trip and I can get a different one, with single action and an attached hose. I spent two days thinking "there must be some way to attach this, this is what it is supposed to do." All the time getting more and more frusterated. If you don't have enough time to return it if this happens to you, then I would look at another pump.
  
  
• Surprisingly Good

  This pump is much better than i expected it to be. I thought it was going to be a cheap piece of plastic junk, and, it is all plastic, but it works well anyway. It fills a queen mattress in less than ten minutes. It's not hard to pump. It is very quiet (not like a crazy loud 4D battery Coleman pump i had that took forever and finally died after a year's use) so it won't disturb your campground neighbors if you happen to arrive in camp sort of late (as we inevitably seem to do.) It's fairly large and bulky, not compact at all, but great for car camping. Highly recommended if you are 'roughing it' with an air mattress.
