  The Big Lux Cot with its self-inflating pad that fits in a pocket on the cot is as comfortable as sleeping at home. I am a big guy, 6' 2" and weighing between 265 and 270. On most cots, when I sleep on my back, my arms fall off the side of the cot, but not with the Big Lux. I have room for my arms. When I sleep on the ground, I use three sleeping pads and I am still not comfortable. With the Big Lux, I only needed the sleeping pad that came with it to be very comfortable. It folds up fairly small and is very sturdy, but is a bit heavy. When sleeping on it, it made almost no noise then I rolled over unlike most cots which groan with my weight. It was a great buy.

  When I first used this cot it seemed excellent. The frame is very sturdy and the cot was comfortable. If I had written a review at that point I would have given it 5 stars. But the second trip I took the cover burst like a balloon. Really, I could feel it give a little, and by the time I could get off it there was a 4 foot long rip. It was then I started looking closely at the material of the cover - it is some rubberized material with a few threads in it - not a real canvas. And it has zero rip-stop capability. I tried to sew it but it was like trying to sew a balloon - it just doesn't work. The Slumberjack people say they will give me a new cover, but they never seem to have one in stock to send (for 4 months?). Only get this cot if you plan on using it once! My previous cot lasted 8 years.

  I ordered this tens days before a big trip and paid the extra shipping for delivery in three business days. You never sent it!!!! I finally cancelled the order. How can I write a review on something that you never sent???? I am not happy at all.
  
  

• So fantastic, I sleep on it every night...

  Not kidding, this has replaced the mattress that I used to sleep on in my dorm. I sleep on this cot every night- with no painful regret in the morning. Serioulsy, this is amazing.
  
  I am in college, and the dorm beds that are offered are far from comfortable for someone who needs a firm matress. The springs just don't do it. With the canvass pulled tight, and the matress inflated, this is the most back support I have ever had on any bed.
  
  If you like foutons, and dont move alot when you sleep, this is the portable (or permanent) bed for you.
  
  Its small, light (relatively), and comfortable. To me, thats a winner.

  I purchased this cot for my husband who always complains about uncomfortable sleeping equipment when camping. He loved this cot! He slept great and he loved the extra room. This is a great product and we will be purchasing more for the whole family.
