  • MInes ( Co2) not in their either !!!

    By A2XEMCPIJT2EK4 on 2005-12-29
I noticed a previous review after we received our order for Xmas. We were also fairly happy with the product, but it was very disapionting, that the Co2 cartridge was not included with the original package. Why even have the "foam cuttout", which is where the item is packed if your not going to ship the darn thing. We feel somewhat slighted by the product information and will not be ordering any supplies from this site in the future......can anything be done to restore our confidence?

  • Can't use it without the tank

    By A210BF9CTD5DOI on 2005-12-14
Shipping was fast, however when we opened it, instead of an air tank it had a postcard we could send to receive one who knows when. It was suppose to be field ready when we received it but now I'll have to go out and buy a tank at Walmart to use it. If I had known that it did not come with a tank, I would have added one to the order and saved on the shipping costs!!!

  • 1 mislead mom

    By A27CNTBARCCICH on 2005-12-27
THE DESCRIPTION IS VERY MISLEADING!!!! HOW CAN THIS BE READY TO PLAY IF IT DOES NOT COME WITH THE CO2 CARTRIDGE?? WE LEARNED THIS ON X-MAS MORNING, A REAL DISAPPOINTMENT. THE KIT WOULD HAVE BEEN PERFECT, IF NOT FOR THE MISSING ITEM.

  • Where's the Tank !?!?!?!

    By A1EZ3SAC2020T1 on 2005-12-28
My son loved the kit but was disappointed when it did not come with a CO2 tank. It states clearly on the package that it does come with the tank. Now you have to either send off for the tank and wait or go to local store and purchase one. This was not very well explained in the literature and seems very misleading.

  • A+ Paintball Package

    By A3TYGGXFZRP1U0 on 2006-03-09
Well to introduce my self my name is Abhishek. I was searching to find a paintball gun(im a intermediate) and I happen to find this gameface/vexor set. I was first thinking that the guns were cheap and useless, but after reading reviews (not only on amazon.com) I found this set to be a good starter set for whom ever just started to get into the fun sport of paintballing. I was uncertain of getting the set when i read that the kit didnt include a c02 tank so i had to think if the company wouldnt decieve me. By doing my reasearch i found that this set is actually very reasonable for the money including everything you need (except for c02) to get on the field. If i were to judge, this would probably be the best deal on paintball gun packages I have ever seen online or in the market. I hope this review helped you decide if the gameface/vexor set is right for you.

  • Christmas Gift
    By A32WEJYT5HROGV on 2005-12-15
I received the item quickly, however was disappointed when the CO2 tank was not included.

  • No CO2 tank
    By A3EI0SMM2B8OMU on 2005-12-25
I thought the package lists everthing I need but when we opened the box and found there's no CO2 tank. If I knew earlier, I will buy CO2 tank and now I have to buy as a separate item. The ad is misleading consumers.

  • Nice item, but no CO2
    By A2OR93GR2XR6M1 on 2005-12-26
The description is very misleading. It states it is field ready and has everything you need-but it doesn't! You can not use this gun without the CO2, which doesn't come in the package-so how can it say it has everything it needs and be ready to use??? The description should much clearer. The kit is very nice and I still would have ordered it-but I also would have ordered the CO2 had I known when I placed my order.

  • NOT Ready to Play - NO CO2 TANK
    By A2YHAVNPDQ7FL9 on 2005-12-24
We were so disappointed that our gifts came without CO2 tanks. If the information states 'ready to play' and the tank is listed as an item in the kit, then it should be included. Now, we will not have the tanks in time for Christmas and I am VERY discourged.

  • MISLEAD
    By A5BWP9H7II5FA on 2005-12-27
Overall this item was a great Christmas gift, I was very disappointed that the CO2 tank was not included though. I had to run out on Christmas Eve and buy one to make sure he could play it on Christmas Day.

  • Not "Ready-To-Play"
    By APKFIZH7HLZ6X on 2006-02-25
I bought this kit for my son for Christmas. It was advertised at the time as "Ready To Play". Well, it wasn't.

The CO2 cartridge was missing. Instead, there was a postcard from the manufacturer stating you had to send the card to them and then they would ship the cartridge.

There was a cutout in the foam for a cartridge, so it looks like they've shipped them previously with the cartridge. Perhaps they ran out.

Needless to say, my son was sorely dissapointed he couldn't play immediately.

The kit is fine otherwise. The marker and accessories are sufficient for the price paid.

  • Fax the card
    By A1TVFC1VF36H3P on 2005-12-20
I faxed the card info to them and received my air cartridge within a few days. No review is possible until my son opens it on Christmas.

  • Will Not Purchase From This Company
    By A1OA319KXIIP9L on 2006-02-01
I was just getting ready to purchase the Backpack Paintball Kit, but decided to read the customer reviews first. Based on the reviews, this company sounds very deceitful and misleading. As a result, I will not be buying anything from this company.

  • Vexor Backpack Kit?
    By A2F0OTAZSAU6NU on 2006-02-12
I'll start by introducing myself. My name's Brett, and I was scrolling down through to see if there were any popular paintball items on the list and saw this was most wished for, I couldn't believe my eyes. A Vexor? You have to be kidding me.

I'm obviously a paintballer, I've been playing for about 2 to 3 years, enough to know that Vexors are cheap guns. Nobody uses semi-automatic guns, unless it's a Tippmann. You either use a pump gun (incredibly accurate if you choose right, and helps conserve paint) or an electronic gun, like myself.

Here's why nobody uses Vexors: my gun (Smart Parts Ion with lots of upgrades) can hit a pie pan-shaped target without missing from 200 feet while shooting 17 bps (balls per second). I'd doubt the Vexor could hit the pie pan, or shoot over 5 bps.

If you're looking for an affordable yet reliable gun, go for a Smart Parts Ion. It'll run you about $240 if you shop around, you can upgrade it with different barrels and other items later on, and the list goes on and on.

Another extremely vital tip is not to get into paintball unless you're willing to get hurt and will commit to it, because otherwise, it's a waste of money.

Also, the Vexor kit only comes with what looks like a 9 oz. CO2 tank. Sounds fine, but you'd probably only get 300 shots off it, if that. This isn't very handy if you're playing at a friend's house and suddenly you run out of CO2. What would you do then? The answer is run and try to barrel tag your opponent (because you're really not supposed to stop the game unless somebody wins), so good luck with that. Hint: I've never barrel tagged, and don't intend to.

Anybody else notice how many times they used the word 'custom'? Well, all good guns should come with the items listed as custom on the description. Foregrip, barrel porting (little holes in the front of the barrel to make it quieter), all that stuff. The only thing mine doesn't have is a dropforward, which you don't need. Its purpose is to put the CO2 (or compressed air) tank closer to the middle of the gun to center its weight.

If you decide not to get an Ion or Tippmann (please get an Ion, please get an Ion), then for really top-of-the-line guns would cost you $900+ for Dyes or Angels. 32 bps. Then, you have to find the right hopper to feed 32 bps (gravity-fed hoppers only feed 4-6). Halo B or a Q-loader will do it.

Good paintballs that next to never break in your gun cost $40 for 2000 rounds minimum. (I prefer Marballizers, but they're $60 for 2000).

What I'm getting at is: this package is a waste of money, I tried something like it once, please don't buy it. I couldn't rate it a 0 our of 5 or I would've.

    ION!

  • my cuzin has this gun it is OK
    By A23UTZOBORSF9Z on 2006-07-10
this gun is ok there r better though. my cuzin has this gun and he said he doesnt have any problems but he just got it and he is a noob 2 paintball so he could be wrong. at least it looks cool. and to all u other people, so wat if it doesnt come with a co2 tank. the 1 that it waz supposed 2 come with isnt even refillable so u would have 2 get a new tank some time. but the paintballs that came with the gun were all exploded and stuff.
i personally think u should just get a tippmann 98 they r the bomb. also even if this gun came with a refillable co2 tank im sure it would only be a 9oz. tank and those run out realy fast in a battle. well i hope this helped a bit. just spend more and get a tippmann they r worth the money!! also if u get a co2 tank get spare 0-rings u will need them!!
