  This little battery operated massager is really good for the money. It is pretty quiet for the power it delivers. Only one speed setting, which is a shame, but for the price you can.t complain. I have found it to be very durable with use. It has three little legs, each with a gel nub at the end to soften it a bit. It has a great ergonomic shape that allows you to hold it in comfort, and it flexes in the middle to work with you angles and curves. I have used it on my head to massage my scalp, and it is the perfect shape for this. Your spouse can use this on knots in your back. It's shape is very versatile, as the advertising says it is "pleasantly powerful and fabulously fun".

  Hate to be the lone contrary opinion. This garish gizmo is reasonably effective, though the textured feet impede sliding movement and their "springiness" and relative flimsiness prevents applying heavy pressure. More importantly, despite other reviewers' numerous claims about the massager's convenience, compactness, portability, etc., I'd reserve such descriptions only for gadgets suitable for on-the-go use. I challenge any of the champions of this cumbersome contraption to put it in a coat pocket and employ it for indiscreet treatments during a committee meeting or luncheon date. (Even sticking it in an expansive brief case may not be a good bet since the exposed, sensitive "on" button is likely to be activated, thus wasting the massage, not to mention batteries, on a stack of freshmen papers.) Homedics has recently introduced a pint-sized version of this one, the Atom (try Walgreen's), that's much closer to being practical. (The only down-side is that it requires AAA batteries--3 of them.)

  With all the different expensive ways to give yourself a decent massage at home, they can range from anywhere from $30 to $2,000 from a massaging chair. Well, if you need to find a convient way of giving yourself a simple massage, than this product if definitely for you. The Homedics Mini, is a convient, and easyto use handheld massager that has all the vibrating massaging action, you'd get from those masssagers you get that are either bulky, or something you have to plug into the wall. I like it because it gives a fantastic massage anywhere you have stress or tension from your neck, all the way down to your feet. It is stylish and colorful, and very inexpensive. It also comes in assorted colors from blue to neon green. This is a great buy for anyone who wants a great way to relax, and ease your tensions away.

  I purchased a dozen of these to give as Christmas presents to coworkers at the office. What a big hit they were! They look futuristic and they're very powerful. I think they're the perfect stress reducer and a great value.

  I was at the store, meandering around and I happened upon a cute, little pink version of this massager. I can't help myself when it comes to "try me!" things, so I turned it on and massaged my neck... WOW. Seriously! It's just strong enough to effectively massage my arms, legs, neck, back, and even FEET (amazing!)
  
  The soft nodes are nice against bare skin, and the flexible head make it easy to move around the curves of your neck, back and legs.
  
  It's also pretty quiet, considering how powerful it is.
  
  All in all, I LOVE this product! It's one of those things you never realized you needed until you have it!

  This little massager is the best! I've bought other hand held massagers that were too clunky and heavy, but this one is light and easy to use. I bought it for using it on my neck and shoulders. It doesn't over stimulate my brain when using it on the back of my neck. Even my 1 1/2 year old son likes to use it!

  These powerful little massagers are sold EVERYWHERE! It's hard to avoid trying them out!
  
  I purchased one as a small gift, which I ended up keeping! The first thing I recommend that you should do before you start using the massager is to change the batteries. The batteries that are included are very weak, won't last long, and has most of its power already depleted. Replace them with brand new batteries, and you'll notice quite a difference in vibration strength.
  
  Of course, with the price and size of this massager, don't expect it to do much heavy messaging in tense areas. I have to say it has a pretty strong vibration though. It's so strong, in fact, that I don't like the feeling in my hand when I'm holding it. I usually just lean against it on a chair or pillow. I have a strong back, so I can barely feel it there when I'm using it, but it works great to relieve other areas like my legs, neck, and shoulders. The three gel nodes aren't as soft as you'd expect gel filled cushions to be. They're actually very firm when you touch them.
  
  Well, Homedics is a very reliable brand with quality products, and this Mini massager is one of them. Give yourself a treat and get one to enjoy!

  I bought two of these for gifts and let me tell you, I was tempted to keep one after trying it! For a small massager, this is very powerful. Great for the shoulder and neck area and I can just imagine how helpful this could be to anyone that experiences calf cramps (charley-horse).

  i don't really have a problem with this product per say; it does what it claims. it is small, cute/pretty, and packs a strong punch despite it's size and price. but it still wasn't good to me b/c i think the whole concept of these electronical massagers don't work; there's nothing like a real, human hand getting down on your back. when i used it i was shocked and dissapointed that it just felt like a very strong vibrator on my back. you just feel quivering in 3 spots of your skin, which if you comprehend is the nodes you see on the pic. that's another little problem; it doesn't cover much of your problem area. (i've gotten a bit used to it now, and didn't need to toss it aside b/c i discovered to tell the person massaging, to push it down; it feels more like a massage). i guess i thought it would feel like an actual massage; i really thought the balls would be rolling or something. but that's all it is; a strong vibrator. i really think it's probably for people who have the most minimal massage problem. not for someone like me who really needs my back to be grinded... so that's what i mean by that there is nothing wrong with this product, (i still reccommend it b/c i think there will be people who will like it and find it effective, and not agree with me), it is only the concept of man made "massagers". or maybe i just need to buy, an expensive one that will be more hardcore? but once again, for it's price and size, i was impressed. a nice, convenient thing was they included batteries. bottom line how i see it: you will get more than you paid for, but you will still not get much.

  The video with the ad for this product shows it spinning around the handle independant of the "feet" like it is a massager, which is what I was looking for. But it is just a poor quality vibrator that rattles when turned on. Very deceptive in the description and video, I was very disappointed.

  This is the worst massager I have ever owned! It worked fine for awhile, but them it just stopped working. I replaced the batteries numerous times and that wasn't the problem. I would recommend something else.
