Why buy a rechargable battery pack, when you could just buy more veristal (and cheaper) rechargable batteries? The charger is sold separately, so it just doesn't make sense.

The Xbox 360 charger only comes with 1 battery. If you play alot you're going to need an extra. There's nothing worse than being in the middle of a great game and your juice runs out. Get this extra battery!!

There's not much to say here. This is Microsoft's official Xbox 360 battery pack. You can recharge it with either the Play & Charge kit or the Quick Charge kit. Obviously, you should buy one of those before buying one of these. If you spend *a lot* of time with your system or have extra wireless controllers, it's a good idea to have an extra pack or two around.
That pretty much sums everything up.

I have AA rechrgeable batteries....but i also have 3 kids and they seem to disapear. This was an affordable solution to that. The batteries work wonderful. Get the charge and play deal and for around 25 bucks you have a solution for 2 controllers.

I have now purchased three rechargeable batteries. At first I was extremely happy with my rechargeable batteries. Plug them into your 360 and the next day they were recharged. I've had two of them for over a year and now they don't ever want to charge up. They only last for about two hours before they die. I can honestly say I will not purchase another set. This is pathetic a one year life on rechargeable batteries. I don't like the idea that I have to buy new rechargeable batteries every year.

This product will save you money, time, and is a quick fix. I do not play my 360 that offen and my batteries would be dead within 1 to 2 weeks in my wireless controlers. Now After I got the rechargeable battery backs and charger there is no more going to the store for batterys. When you first get it it will be in the price range of 20 to 30 dollars but it is worth it in the long run.

This is the licensed rechargable battery for the XBox 360 wireless controller. There are many cheaper imitations out there, but this product fits so perfectly in the controller I don't know why you'd mess around with an imitation, especially given the reasonable price tag. It's more convenient than AA rechargable batteries too, and can be charged while you play if you have the play and charge kit. This battery lasts for many hours and charges quickly--it's a must if you're using wireless 360 controllers!

This is a rechargable battery which means you will need the x box battery charger to use it, i recommend you get 2 of these with the battery charger so that you can keep alternating them and your game is never interrupted. Each battery should give you about 10 hours of game play and it takes about 3 hours to charge. So you can rest assured that if you buy the 2 batteries and the battery charger you will never need to buy AA batteries for the controller again.

Xbox 360 battery packs are awesome, fast charging, stay charged for a long time, and don't deteriorate over time. If you buy this you will need a way to charge it, use either the charging station, or the play and charge cable. It is ashame controllers don't come with these standard, they are quite nice.

Use your own rechargeable batteries or just buy a case of AAs for under $15 from any department store.

I love the rechargeable battery pack. The expense isn't even that bad once you bring into account the price of individual batteries. What is it now? $5-$6 for a pack of 4 AA's? Buying batteries over the course of a year, especially if you're a heavy gamer, is way more expensive than the start-up costs of the dual charger and their battery packs.
I'm a moderate gamer. I've only had to charge the battery packs once so far and that was about a month and a half ago. I reckon those of you who have the time to really game will burn through the packs a lot faster. But it's easy enough to have a battery pack on the charger while you play so you can keep on fragging when it's time to switch (or in a pinch, pop in those disposable batteries while your pack charges).
Buy it. It's a hoot and you don't pollute.

My battery pack is now dead after 6 months. I bought the Play and Charge Kit and it's just another Microsoft product that has failed me. I'm on my 2nd Xbox 360 and 4th headset. Now I'm on my 2nd battery pack after I go and buy a new one. I can still play with the controller plugged in, but it does not recharge the battery anymore for wireless play.
