Clock, RM313PNA/BLRS-LS Rf Proj.xToo low to display

Best Price: Too low to display
Housed in high-tech blue plastic, this alarm clock is far more sophisticated than its cute appearance may lead one to believe. Whether you check on the time by consulting the clock's LCD screen or by looking at a large red-light projection of the time beamed onto a wall or ceiling, you'll know it's accurate. That's because the clock is equipped with a radio receiver tuned to the U.S. Atomic Clock, and keeps time with split-second accuracy by automatically adjusting, if necessary, to the Atomic Clock's signals six times every 24 hours. From those signals, the clock not only shows the precise time, but also displays the date and day, with automatic adjustment for daylight-saving time and leap year, according to the North American time zone for which the clock is set. The red-light projection makes it possible to check the time without squinting. If the clock is in battery mode (two AA batteries required but not included), pressing the clock's snooze bar will beam the time onto the ceiling for five seconds--and also backlight the LCD screen. If the clock is plugged into a wall socket with an AC adapter (included), the projection and backlighting will be available either for five seconds with the snooze bar or continuously if a continuous-beam control is set. As a backup, you can set the time, day, and date manually as well as automatically.

Satisfied By A13HZ2UTU4TNP9 on 2007-11-20
Good, reliable and thus far sturdy clock. Bought one last Christmas for myself and another as a gift, one year later, no complaints. The time is always correct (even set itself to Bush's new Daylight Savings Time for me). When you hit snooze the light comes on for a few seconds which is very effective for waking you up in the morning (not cool if you want to just hit snooze and go back to sleep). I like being able to see what temp it is in my bedroom as I get into bed and before I get up. The projection feature is pretty cool, shines the time in red on the ceiling. You have to move the clock to change the position of the projection on the ceiling (not adjustable) but that's a minor issue. The alarm isn't too annoying and you don't have to remember to set your alarm every night.
On a personal note, when my husband is snoring and I get up to go sleep in the other bedroom I just bring the clock with me. It has a battery back up so I just unplug the clock from its cord and take it with me. It does not project when its not plugged in but hasn't failed to wake me up yet. Plus you can goof around with the time zones and see what time it is on the opposite coast (minor amusement feature).
Worth the money.
Never got the product By A16PQIK4J3FZR on 2007-12-13
My order was canceled with no explanation! Guess I won't get to find out if this product was any good or not. The company "ANTonline" didn't come through for me.
Ok Clock, Could Not Get Signal Though By A1K9L5SAGFXWF9 on 2008-03-01
This clock is smaller than you think it will be, trust me. Other than that the product is pretty much what you see. Keep in mind the clock backlight does not stay on constantly, only when you hit the snooze/light button. Also, the projection does stay on constantly if you use the AC adapter, but it is not adjustable independently of the clock. In other words, you have to rotate the clock to rotate the projected time. Also I could never seem to get the atomic clock radio signal. I had to set it manually, but that may just be my geographical area. My town forbids radio towers, etc. For the price do i recommend this clock? If you just need a basic projection clock then yes, otherwise spring for a bit more.
Great Little Clock! By ABZVU4NYLOEOD on 2008-05-02
The design is cool, the laser projection is bright and fun (and has an off button) I like the chreshendo alarm. The alarm beep is cute... slightly shrill, but it definitely works! You can't beat it for the price!
i like it By A1N5WP17TU80LI on 2008-08-25
the alarm is on my side of the bed, and my husband was tired of looking over me in the middle of the night to see what time it was.....so this was my solution - rather than have two clocks [we have the same schedule]. it would be nice if you could move the projector - but it really isn't a big deal to me. it is very visible.
