Works as advertised

There's not much that can be said about a memory card. It works or it doesn't. This one works, so, pretty much that's that.
It comes packaged with a Memory Stick adapter for devices that require the older, long-and-narrow format. But definitely check with the manufacturer of the unit you're planning to use it with to ensure that the Memory Stick PRO Duo is the device you need.
I'm using this with the Sony DSC-T100 CyberShot camera. As a point of calibration for other users, this 2GB Memory Stick show up as storing 619 images at 8.1 megapixels per shot. That should handle all casual use and even a big, long vacation.
Great Storage and Price

I fit about 550 photos (each taken at 7MB resolution setting) and several movies - one 187MB long - on this Sony 2BG Memory Stick PRO Duo. It was the only one I needed for my 2-week trip. It was an amazing bargain for under $100.
No more worries about space

I used to have 4 memory sticks of the old ones with my old cybershot, but with a purchase of a new camera I decided to buy only 1, but a very large one...
I have taken many many shots and videos in high res and I have downloaded them to my computer and I cant complain, its very fast, reliable and no problems whatsoever. I recommend it if you are a user who takes many many shots...

Remembering the saga, 'buying cheap and paying twice', too well, I chanced on the largest Memory Stick Pro Duo available. I have not regretted my decision after using it with my Sony DSC-W100 digital camera.
The 8,1-megapixel photos are written to the stick so fast that I never wait before taking next photo. I took about 500 8,1-megapixel photos and about 5 minute video before the stick became almost full.
My advice is to buy the largest you can afford. You'll be grateful for it.

I recently purchased this memory stick for use with my PSP, and so far I'm very pleased. At first I was a bit weary of the $150 price tag, but now that I own it I have no regrets.
Along with my game data, I currently have 365 mp3 music files saved to it, and I still have well over 1GB left. In addition, it was properly formated for the PSP straight out of package.
If you're looking for the maximum amount of storage for your PSP and you've got the money, I definitely recommend this memory stick.

This is a good product with plenty of memory for modern cameras. I have a 12 mega pixel Sony W200 and at full resolution the files are about 4 MP. The 2 GB Memory Stick will hold over 400 photos at this resolution (much more at lower resolution of course). Movie clips of standard resolution of 10 or 12 seconds are also about 4 MP, again this memory stick has plenty of capacity for a weeks worth of vacation photos.

With this memory stick I don't have to worry about running out of memory on my vacation. I can take as many pictures and movies as I want and not have to worry about downloading in the middle of my vacation. This gives me over 600 six-megapixel pictures. I can shoot them and then crop and edit them to size or print them at 8-1/2 by 11. When combining this with 2500MAh NiMH batteries, I can shoot for two days without even changing the batteries in my camera.

I use this for my Sony PSP and I'll tell ya, within 1 hour of opening it up I had 2 full length movies and 300 songs on it. I recommend this to anyone who has a PSP and likes to have movies and music on the go.

I love using this camerA, WHAT GREAT SHOTS, I HAVE RECENTLY PURCHASED this camera and it has taken the most amazing holiday shots with absolute ease. I love it , it is small & light & compact , I carry it around in my bag & take fantastic shots in a second. I have yet to read all the info on all the other extras it offers , but I am so happy with the quality & ease of taking quick & fantastic shots . I reccommend this camera highly!!!!!

With the Sony Cybershot DSC-H2 6MP I'm able to shot 667 pictures on the maximun quality (6mp/fine). This is a good amount of pictures on one memory card. I will recomend to have one 2GB card and maybe another 1GB.

It's a Memory Stick, but it is not made by Sony. I bought this product thinking it was, but it turns out it's not.
It works... for the most part. But since it's not a genuine Memory Stick, its compatibility lacks. Lots of corrupt data, and that can be VERY disappointing for gamers and photography enthusiasts.
Bottom line... if you want a CHEAP Memory Stick, buy it. If you want a GOOD Memory Stick, DON'T buy it. You won't be satisfied.

The 2 GB Magic Gate is a really great add-on for your PSP.
Only drawback is the price, but it's cheaper than the 1 GB Magic Gate becuase the 1 GB usually sells for $100.

This memory stick is a great buy. You will not regret it. With this memory stick you get plenty of speed, space, and reliability. I love having 2 gigs of space on my PSP. I put a bunch of music on it, a few videos, and still have plenty of game save space. If you are thinking about getting a lower sized memory stick, dont do it. It is worth it to have the extra space.

Bought the Sony brand Memory Stick PRO Duo (genuine MSX M2GS) for my Sony webcam and it worked fine however, the adapter that is supposed to make the stick compatable with MS Pro readers/devices does not always work as advertised; specifically, my Dell XPS 1710 laptop's card reader. The MS Pro Duo w/adapter does function in my cheap little USB card reader and so no loss there but the transfer speeds are a bit slow... been around the block with Dell over this issue and their answer is that my XPS's card reader is only compatable with MS Pro (and other) sticks ONLY and it does work fine there... Sony gives me no response, go figure.

NICE! I ordered Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo 2GB on monday, they shipped it on tuesday, item arrived on thursday. Once again, great experience with amazon and companies that work with this online store, in this case Digital Media Source. Important: this Memory Stick Pro Duo is an ORIGINAL Sony product. Be aware, there some places online that sell counterfeit products. As usual you can trust amazon.

I guess it was also the sellers fault but the card that I bought has a lot of bad sectors and ruined a lot of pictures. To my bigger misfortune I went to a once in a lifetime long trip throughout Asia-Japan, China, Malaysia and you can just imagine my sadness of the many preciuos photos which got completely destroyed and others being overlayed with two others photos.And after I unloaded most of the photos from the card it got worse and it started damaging 3-4 photos in a row.Be aware from which seller you are buying this product and test it well before using it in a long run.

The Sony 2 GB MS Pro Duo is exactly like the SanDisk MS Pro Duo, except it is black. They use essentially the same technology. It is a 2 GB MS Pro Duo, and since they are all (when looking at the major manufacturers), realistically, the same, this particular card doesn't stand out. It works and it is black and comes with an adapter.

PSP games run much faster on this card...Also no need to compress them with a 2Gb card. I was using lexar 1Gb cards and the games I played lagged(perfectly legal backups). Not so with this product. I gave the lexar cards to a friend that has a cybershot camera. They are more suited for that type of action. If you have a modded PSP, which Sony discourages, I suggest that you buy these cards to play games. If you prefer performance over low cost.

Buy this memory stick and you will be set. I has an adaptor so I can use it in both my DSC-H1 and my DSC-T50, and with 2GB on this stick plus the old 512MB stick I already owned (which only fits into the DSC-H1), that is all the memory I will need unless I go on a 2 month vacation somewhere. This memory stick holds a lot of pictures.

I use this memory card in my Sony Ericsson W800i cell phone for MP3 files. The phone can perfectly handle the card and everything works fine. In my computer the speed of the memory card reaches the limit of my card reader and in just a few minutes 2GB are copied on the card. The case of this memory card is robust and does not fall apart.
In mobile devices that permanently access the memory card, please consider higher energy needs because of big capacity.
