  Don't waste your time with this product. The cable is a low quality knockoff of the Nokia OEM cable. The software would not allow my 6103 Nokia to connect to the PC. It kept telling me the driver was not properly installed. I tried reinstalling several time without success. To top it all off the cable end broke off in my phone, and I had to dig it out with a dental pick. Do yourself a favor and spend the 50 bucks for the Nokia cable and save yourself the aggravation,,, I wish I did

  At first I was skeptical about buying a generic product, but at that price I though I'd give it a try. I had a little trouble getting it started. I wasn't sure if it was a computer, software, or phone problem. After a while it worked, and really well. I haven't used all of the features yet, just the photo download. I like it so far. If you just want to download the photos from your phone then it's a pretty good buy.

  I thought this was a good option because the Nokia brand cable was $50.00. Well after wasting hours of time and getting spotty results (at best) I gave up. $9.99 down the drain wasn't nearly as bad as the time I wasted and the frustration it caused. I searched all over the forums to get some better info on how to get this thing to work. All I found were frustrated people that had little to no luck in getting it to work. $50.00 seems like a lot of money for a data cable, but if I had it to do over again I would buy the name brand in a heartbeat. If you are technicality savvy maybe you'll find it a good challenge to get it to work, but I think wadding up paper and throwing it in the waist basket is a better use of my time. Tried two computers using the directions to the T and nothing. On top of it all the tech support site for the company selling this cable does not work which is pretty shady if you ask me. I only write reviews for things I really like or really hate and this falls in the latter category. Do yourself a favor and save your time and money.
  
  

• Aftermarket cable does not work properly with Nokia 6102i

  Unfortunately, this product did not work as advertised. First of all, it is not a genuine Nokia CA-42 cable. It is an aftermarket cable. Because of this, it did not work properly with my Nokia 6102i phone. I would not recommend this product for Nokia phones. It is unfortunate, because the genuine Nokia CA-42 cable is so much more expensive than the knockoff. Nokia should be ashamed for selling such a simple cable for $50. Aftermarket retails should also be ashamed in selling something I think they know will not work properly in Nokia phones.

  When i bought my USB Data Cable i was a little worried that it wouldn't work because i read all the reviews below and none of them were positive. I told myself "This wont happen to me, maybe my cable will work." well i was wrong! if you want to buy this product and are thinking like i was, your are just going to waste your time and money because this product sucks. It is advertised that it is compatible with the Nokia 6102i phone, but it didn't work for my 6102i. it took me forever to install the drivers and i had to download a bunch of diffrent programs and it still doesnt work. When i plugged in the cable to my phne it says "Enhancement not supported". I gave up and im thinking of buying the expensive cable and you should too! dont buy this cheap imitation because you will only be wasting your time and money.

  I was not able to get this cable and software to work. Kept getting an error. I guess Nokia phones dont work with generic CA 42 cables. I am using the email facility from my phone to transfer my pix from phone to pc.

  This cable simply doesn't work. It says "Enhancement Not Supported" every time you connect it to your PC. I've done tons of research to figure out how to remedy this and nothing works. It only cost me 5.50 from eBay so it's not a huge loss, but don't let the low price entice you-- it's a rip off.

  With the price being 25% of the OEM's price, I figured all I was getting was the cable. I found other sources for the drivers but none of them said for sure that they were exactly what I needed. When I received the purchase in the mail, it included a CD with the correct software. The cable and software are excellent.

  This was the cheapest deal for a cable that I needed to transfer all my info from my dying cell phone to my computer and then to my new phone ASAP. I had originally found it for $49.99 (without shipping & handling) at the Nokia site among others, but after finding it here for $10.51 WITH shipping & handling, I couldn't pass it up!

  Excellent product! The software was a little outdated, however once installed was easily and quickly updated within the program. With all available updates the software was simple to navigate to either back up your important phone information from phone numbers to stored pictures. Could also be used to transfer information from one phone to another. Highly recommended for anyone with these types of phones
