  This adapter will take your US plug, even the ones with one prong wider than the other, and convert it to a European plug.
  One thing to note, this adapter is not a voltage converter; it will not convert European 220V to US 110V, unlike what one reviewer said.
  Shouldn't be a problem at if your power supplies support a range of 100-240V like most mobile devices these days: laptops, mobile phones, PDAs, etc. Just read what's on the power supply or device you're taking to Europe.

  I'm from the US and live in Europe. I buy a lot of dual-voltage products when I visit home, so I use a lot of adapter plugs. If you simply need a two prong adapter, you will be satisfied with this one. The quality is much better than others that I have purchased over the years. I just bought a couple of these to try. I'll be buying more in the future.

  Excellent adapter: fits both double-pronged and grounded American plugs perfectly. I have tried other adapters in which the US plugs are too loose and tend to fall out; this is certainly not a problem with Going In Style's products. My only qualm is the price, which seems a bit high for a simple electricity router, but overall it's a great investment in an overseas trip. Fast service.

  I used the adapter to recharge camera and cell phone batteries and it worked very well. Since most charges can handle both US and European power systems, no converter is needed - just the adapter.

  Inexpensive, compact adapter plug to use North American electrical and electronic devicess in continental Europe. Think before you buy those fancy kits that stores will try to sell you and that cost 10 times as much or more. Most devices a traveler needs are already able work on 120 - 220V and 50 - 60Hz. It's just a matter of the plug shape.

  Does exactly what it says on the tin... good quality and the best price I could find with a decent delivery time. If you are on a hurry because of a trip to Europe don't do ebay.
  
  Furthermore you can use it in the UK and Ireland too... it is a bit tricky I admit but by pressing the ground plug with a pen you can slide the contacts of this plug in and connect your US plug to it. Good solution if you stay only a few days in the UK.

  After leaving my previous adpater somewhere in Turkey, I picked up 2 of these, so I'd have a spare, and they were great. Small, but fit in all the outlets we tried them on. (A couple of colleagues had gotten multi-format devices that did not clear some of the recessed outlets in our hotel). But is was nice to be able to plug in 2 devices, so the spare got used almost as much as the primary.... And if I lose one, no problem...

  i bought 3 of these since they were cheap, and it's a good thing i did since they're also cheaply made. one of them broke on the first day of my week long trip and another one broke before the week was over. the price should have been an indicator of the workmanship but i'm a sucker for a bargain I guess :-)

  The product allegedly works all over Continental Europe, with a long list of qualifying countries, including Austria, given in the description. But when I took this adapter plug to Europe, it did not fit the outlet designs at my hotels in Salzburg or Vienna. It also failed in Prague--I'll let that slide, however, since the Czech Republic wasn't specifically advertised. Worked like a charm in Venice, though!
