  Sound:
  These headphones are pretty standard. However they have a very good sound, bass and tweeter is very good. So if you look for a good set of earphones not very hi-tec this is a very good item for the price.
  
  Durability:
  
  I got these shipped with my Sony Ericsson W800 phone and I used them for about 4 months before they failed.
  
  The right speaker just went dead. However, I noticed there was a problem with them since I got them because I had to move about the conector. So, this could be one in a million.
  
  Fitting:
  
  These hearphones come with three different heads for different ear sizes. I used the smallest and were very comfortable. Not too much problem to fit and they never got loose, even when I was running.
  
  General use:
  
  I noticed they are affected by sweat, so you don't want to have them with too much moist. The microphone always worked fine, and didn't cause too much extra noise when talking.
  
  Warranty:
  
  Sony warranties these for a year. So if you get them and fail, you can still get a new set from Sony withing the first year.

  The HPM-70's are FAR cheaper than their siblings on Amazon, even the lower siblings such as the HPM-65, probably because these are OEM, meaning they don't come in the retail packaging. Ordered from SF Planet for under $10 including shipping, recieved from across the country in three days, amazing deal. They sound fantastic for the price, I'd buy them if they were $30. Cord is thin and light but seems sturdy and flexible enough. Fits comfortably, came with three sizes of earbud tips. Bass is unexpectedly strong, midrange is decent, upper end leaves something to be desired but then again, I'm comparing these to much more pricey headphones from Shure. Detail is good for the price, sounds moderately colored. Good for general every day listening, wish the 3.5mm cord was a little longer so I could use these as a backup for my computer.
  
  The ear buds have a 6" cord or so with 3.5 mm male jack, comes with a cord extension that has 3.5mm female with mic and button attached, other end of the extension is the proprietary fast port connector that plugs into phone. Tested with a K790a, I'm going to get a bigger memory card and use it as an mp3 player, sound quality is almost identical to a stand alone mp3 player with these earbuds. Highly recommended.

  I bought this to replace the one I lost. This is the original brand, not a generic. The sound is excellent and the hands-free feature works very well (I use it in the car). As others have written, I wish the cord were much shorter. The cord to one ear is long and the one to the other ear is extra-long, which make them unwieldy. I would have also preferred that the cords to both ears be of equal length. But given the excellent sound, I see no reason to change to another brand.

  I just got the black version from MyNetDeals. The sound quality is nothing like the original one, there is no bass at all. All the music sounds terrible through this earphone. I would like to return it, but shipping charge is not refundable. Have to find another replacement.
  
  
• Sent a knock-off instead of the read deal!

  I was sent a knock-off version of the Sony Ericcson headphones. I know this for two reasons. First, I ordered this from another vendor just two weeks earlier for my phone. The headset came in and sounded great. This set sounds noticeably worse in every way. More importantly, The green logo is not on the second set as on the first and the back plate on one is already gone. This is definitely an attempt to sell the original equipment as genuine and then switching to another lower-priced item.

  I imagine that I am not the only person to lose the headphone cable that comes with the phone. This will serve owners of the SE 810i phone. This particular product only came with the Medium sized earphone shrouds. The original with the phone comes with the interchangeable S / M / L shrouds. The good thing is that you can simply replace the earbuds with any other one. You can also buy just the shrouds, but it would be a far better investment to get a better pair of earbuds.

  I bought this solely to be headphones for my m600i. I didn't even realize it worked as a hands free device. The best part: plugging it into the auxiliary input in my car for playing my music AND taking hands-free calls through the car speakers.
  
  Only downside: ear-bud speaker-covers fall off rather easily.

  The lapel clip broke the first day I got this. Call quality is ok but without the lapel clip, I have to hold the microphone close to my mouth with my hand. Not exactly safe when driving! It defeats the purpose for which I purchased this - safety!

  This is the good product to feel the music. It has true bass effect.
  But the only problem is that when i put this product in my jeans pocket the ear bud is sometimes lost.

  I've tried other handsfree sets and this one provides the best mic and ear bud combo. The ear buds provide decent sound (lots of bass) and the microphone works great -callers can actually hear me on the other end of a phone call-. The only thing it lacks is a volume control nob on the mic.

  These earbuds deliver excellent sound and the 3 "cushion" sizes ensure that the fit is super-comfy and snug. The snug fit means external noise is reduced, which enhances the sound experience from your Sony Ericsson phone. I couldn't be more pleased.

  Well, I have no idea what these sound like. They wont work on my phone! The connector is made ONLY for a Ericsson phone, which was NOT stated anywhere on the description. They were however cheap, so I really cant complain too much.
  
  
• Excellent Quality and Wonderful Service

  These are the headphones that I've been dying to get ever since I've lost mine that came with my W810i.
  They are exactly the same as my previous headphones and are of the original company (SONY) of whom created it. Let me tell you folks, this is NOT a knock-off item, it's genuine. The price is so low that noone would ever believe that this item is real, but it is (because it's over 20 dollars off retail from SONY's website!).
  For BargainCell, they have provided a superb service by answering my questions promptly.
  My only negative review for this item is that the item ONLY comes in black; my previous headphones were silver.
  
  Aside from that, these headphones are superior in quality. SONY's capability to enhance the bass without sacrificing its hardware is truly amazing.
  
  There are some reviews stating that, "These headphones aren't loud enough compaired to others". The statement is true, however these are one of the most comfortable headphones to ever wear (at least to my experience), it feels like I'm not wearing any headphones at all! And besides, if you would still consider them as not being capable of getting any louder, just think of the consequences if they were a lot louder. This is why I appreciate SONY so much since I've realized that my ears aren't ringing after many hours of music. Also, these headphones are swappable, so any 3.5mm headphone will be able to work. Just realize that now you have a 4ft. longer cord to deal with.

  I have a pair of Shures. That should allow you to gauge what kind of quality I expect from my headphones. I wasn't expecting the world from these headphones, but definitely received it. Sturdy construction, AMAZING sound, cord length is more than long enough (I don't find it to be annoying as others have stated), built in microphone is great, and everything works like specified. Very happy customer!

  WAO, tremendo sonido, ahora tengo una mini fiesta en mis oidos!! Me gusta mucho, lo compre primero para un regalo de B.D. y acabe comprandome uno para mi 20 dias despues. Solo me gustaria que la conexion donde se unen ambos cables de auriculares, los cables fueran en el mismo sentido, como los audifonos de iPods, o de mp3s, eso le da mas estetica.

  To anyone who has a Sony Ericsson Mobile phone it is well known for their great music system, this is why this Portable Handsfree/earbuds are a great choice when wanting to change or replace yours.
  Two separate pieces compose the handsfree. A suggestion: if they could make the cable for the earbuds to the microphone more extended it would also work as an individual earbud, allowing to use it also with other devices.
  
  One thing against it: The only color on stock is the grey one. After the Sony Ericsson W300, the Handsfree HPM-70 model also came in black color. Now those ones I was unable to find them.

  For a stock set of headphones these actually have acceptable bass and pretty good clarity even at high volume. Surely not a Shure pair of head phones but not bad. Also not a bad option if you don't want to go with Bluetooth having to deal with charging etc. and those not always the best for music except for a rare few stereo bluetooth devices which your phone may not support or an awkward additional Bluetooth music headphones. These were way cheaper than a replacement at the phone store, that's for sure. I'll probably lose them again and be back.

  These have clearer sound and more base than the earphones that came with my Sony P1i phone. They are a bargain. I suppose that they are not as good as $100 earphones, but for this price, I don't expect them to be. Mine came in a simple plastic bag without Sony packaging, but they do appear to be a real Sony product. There are included in the package 3 different size rubber tips to fit different ear sizes.

• Worth the price & then some

  Either these type of headphones have come a long way since I last purchased a set.. or I got ripped off when I purchased my Audio-Technica set 3 years ago. Because the A.T.'s were $125 at the time.... & I think these sound better. I got these with the purchase of my Sony Walkman 580i, & I quickly purchased a back-up set for the whopping price of $5.98 + shipping. The only thing I find a little bothersome is that when you are walking briskly , you actually hear wind whirring... because the buds are so sensitive. This may be because I always get a complete seal, in an attempt to block out as much background noise as possible, & to acheive this & I actually invert the buds leaving the post sticking straight up. But,it's nothing a little more volume can't cure. I also like the fact that the wires are so light, that the cord doesn't constantly pull down, which can make simply turning your head a pain. All in all, you can't beat these for the price.

  The surprising thing is not that this works just fine, like the one I lost that I was replacing, but that cheaper generic version was foul when used to make a hands free call. My wife forbid me to call her using the cheap one I got because the sound it created was so crackly it hurt her ears.

  This product is exactly the same as the headphone product that comes originally with the phone. Never falls off ears and the quality is very good. The wire is just a bit to long they should have made both the ear piece wire length the same length. Overall 5/5 star.
