• Great pool toy!!

  We bought this for our 6 month old. We had purchased another "floaty" and we didn't like it much since he kept sinking.
  
  This doesn't require the parent to "hold" the baby. It does a great job keeping him afloat and VERY HAPPY!! We love the sun canopy since we live in FL...
  
  Very satisfied!!
  
  FYI- Baby weighs almost 19 pounds and is 27 inches long...

  I purchased this for a recent trip to the Carribean with my 14 month old son. We loved this float - folds up so compact and takes only a few seconds to set up. My son was very happy and secure floating away and the sun canapoy came in handy since my son doens't like hats that much. Overall, very satisfied - well worth the money - and we got tons of inquiries from other parents at the resort that wanted to purchase one as well.

  This swimming device is great, we had bought another float and he didn't like it very much, he would cry and whine alot. But after we put air in this one, which is very minimal and fast (unlike the other one we had to inflate the whole thing), and he was comfortable. The shade is great for him and the colors are nice too. This is great for babies, it even has little velcro attachments on the top of the shade to hang toys I guess, but we used it to hook him onto the volleyball net while we were playing so he could watch and so we could keep him close so he woudn't wander off into the deep end of the pool.

  I loved it, the only flaw was that the cover would occasionally slide back and not provide enough shade for the baby, but overall I am happy. It is very convenient.

  This is a really good float. The canopy stays put and it doesn't require an air compressor to inflate (or Lance Armstrong's lungs). Our 11 month old splashes happily and it doesn't capsize or collapse. We have loads of fun pulling him around in the pool. Of course, use common sense, it's a swim aid, not an aquatic babysitter.
  
  
• Perfect Floaty For Baby

  I LOVE this floaty. It is so much better then the plastic ones because it is more durable and the material feels better then plastic. My son loves it, we got it when he was 6 months old and now he is almost 11 months. Even my husband and I have hung on the sides while our son was inside and it kept us all afloat no problem. I think it will last him a long time. I highly recommend this product.
  
  
• GREAT Float!

  We were able to use this float for the first time this weekend. Our son is almost 4 months old and appx 18 lbs so I wasn't sure if he was still going to be too small to use it. Once we put him in the right way (front and back sides are not marked), he had an absolute blast. He was able to lean forward (he can't hold himself up yet) over the inflatable cushion and put his arms around both sides. His toys were within his reach in the convenient mesh ring and the canopy kept ALL sun off him (he has red hair and is extremely fair). He was able to kick his legs and got lots of exercise. I would highly recommend this product to everyone- just be sure to keep a close eye on them if they can't hold themself up. LOVE IT and can't wait to use it again!

  As a mom of five water babies, I've used a few of these in the past. This is by far the best. I love that the inner and outer rings are connected with mesh material. This way the baby can actually play in the water! Most other floats it seems the baby's legs are dangling in the water while the top half is distracted by a lot of plastic distractions up top. (isn't the point of taking a baby in the pool to let them experience the water?) With this design my daughter can sit right in the water and play with her duckies and water-proof books while splashing at the water all around her. She absolutely loves this seat! Usually I take her in the water and swim her around for a while to get out a lot of her excited excess energy, then once she's calmed down a bit she relaxes in her seat floating around near me. The included canopy attaches and detaches easily and we love how adjustable it is. I would definitely recommend this.

  We started our little guy in this when he was two months old (supported by our hands). As he gets bigger, he just fits it better. He loves to kick and feels safe. I love that he is protected from the sun - so important for a little guy that you can't put sunscreen on.
  
  
• Easy to Tip

  The first time we used this float, my 20 month old very easily climbed out of the shallow seat onto the flotation part and the float nearly tipped over. (I stopped it, or she would have fallen into the water.) If the seat were lower, this float would be safer. I returned it for a different one because of the danger of her falling out. The shade was good quality and worked well, but it still was not worth the risk or her possibly drowing.

  This is a great product! My daughter just loved floating in it and kicking her little feet. The sun shade is a wonderful added feature as her doctor has recommended limited sun exposure.

  We used this float on a recent trip to Hawaii. It did a great job protecting our son from the sun, and he enjoyed hanging out with us in the pool. Shade canopy was a great feature.
  
  
• Great Float

  I originally bought the sun shade boat float for my 4 month old and it was a waste of money, so I bought the Baby Spring Float and he loves this one. It allows him to splash with his hands in the mesh part, gets him wet up to his chest and is compact and easy to inflate and deflate. He uses it regularly in the pool and it's made a big difference in how long he will stay happily in the water.

  This is a GREAT idea !!!! I love it !! We take this to "sharks cove" ( its a cove water spot ) out here in hawaii and my 1 year old son loves it. He just started walking and he just cruises in this thing. I am right by his side but I can enjoy sitting in the water and not getting that weird baby on the body tan.
  
  I would just like to say once again.. I LOVE IT and would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone with a cruiser or younger !!
  
  Oh and the canopy actually works. It isn't one of those cheap ones that falls down. It is adjustable to the sun's rays and will stand up if you need it to.
  
  The whole thing comes in a cute carrying case too !!

  It's hard enough to coat my children in sunscreen every few hours to send them out into the arizona sun but my children are also very fair skinned. It's super hard for me to find a shaded baby float that won't tip over. This product is wonderful, it allows her the freedon to feel the water and play in the water without tipping over while protecting her delicate skin from the harsh sun. It's easy to pack up and transport, we keep one in the car for when we go to grandma's and one at home for the pool. we recommend this to all of our friends with small children! You can't afford NOT to get it!

  I purchased this item for my 9 month old. He loves being in the pool in it without having to be held. The sun shade is great and has saved him from several sunburns I'm sure. Be sure to take the canopy off the float before trying to fold it up. We assumed you didn't have to separate them and spent several minutes trying to figure it out!

  Great float for a baby new to the pool. Easy to inflate, deflate and store away. My 7 month old son loves to play in his new float. The sun shade works great also. Definitely would reccomend.

  I bought this for our 10 month old and she absolutely loves it! The main reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is that it is a little difficult to blow up and later deflate, especially if you are trying to do it quickly while baby is waiting.
  
  
• FANTASTIC, safe, fun, excellent product!

  LOVE THIS!!!
  We bought this last year and used it practically every day for the whole summer. Though the recommendation is for older children our 7 month old daughter LOVED being in it. It is a good quality product, and stood up to a lot of use. We are looking forward to using it this year now she is 18 months old.
  
  It is a clever design - the netted 'seat' that hangs below into the water seemed comfortable and held her securely (we used it from when she wasn't even able to sit up unaided and she just reclined back naturally and it supported her in the water very well)
  She would relax and float about there as we bobbed around with her. I liked how it allowed her to be partly in the water, not perched on top of it as with her other floaty toy.
  As she was small, her neck and head were well supported by the back of the inflated part of the seat, and her head and face were well away from the surface of the water. (Now she's older it'll fit a lot differently and she'll sit up higher in the water of course, but we hope she'll still love it)
  She was very happy in it, She even nearly fell asleep in it, she was so contented!
  
  The wide floaty blue part that sits on the water makes it very stable (Which meant I didn't worry about it tipping at all) but was great as it is not too obtrusive - the channel of air isn't too wide and puffed up so we could see her clearly and she could see everything going on around her without a big inflated thing blocking her view.
  The yellow part you can see in the picture is a channel of net material and sits flat on top of the water. She likes it that her little water toys (ducks, fish etc) sat in there in a bit of water for her to play with as she floated about)
  
  I felt happy that she was safe and well supported in the water. We liked the way she could bob around with us whilst we enjoyed the water too. It felt far more comfy, less tiring and even a bit safer than holding her in the water ourselves. We could swim about and play right next to her and enjoy the water too.
  
  The sun canopy is the main reason we bought this over a similar designed product, and it works extremely well. You can use the toggles very easily on the side to position it over the top or angled to either side. It truly was a godsend as the weather here is in the blazing 90's, but we didn't have to worry at all about her as she was cool in the water and safe in its shade.
  
  Overall I would say this is one of the BEST products we've bought for our daughter (and yes, I admit it she's been VERY spoiled) I would recommend this to anyone with a little one so you can all enjoy the water safely.
  It twists up easily to a compact size for easy transportation to the pool too!

  I just purchased this float. I was extreamly pleased. The float is very compact when not in use and the canopy works great to keep the sun out of my son's eyes. Overall I was very happy with my purchase.

  This float is great. I have a very fair skinned red-headed 11 month old and I love this float because it completely keeps the sun off her whenever we are in the water. It is made of good quality material and seems very durable. It folds up easily and stores in a carrying bag. The one negative is that I think the outer ring is a little hard to blow up, but other than that, it is absolutely great and I highly recommend it

  My son was 18 months old last summer when we got this. he immediately would try to get out of it. we ended up getting him a "swim sweater" which he loved. maybe better for a younger child. never used the sun shield.

  I haven't actually gotten a chance to take my daughter out in this, but I know she will love it! It keeps them above water safely, rather than bobbing around with flimsy swimmer puffs or a lifejacket. She's a water baby, so we can't wait to try it out!

  We purchased this for a trip to The Bahamas and it was fantastic! Folds up so small that it wasn't an issue packing it in the suitcase. Since we're super conscious about the sun and our baby, the canopy was ideal. We put all sorts of toys on the ledge and hung rings from the canopy. Kept our son very happy! No complaints -- great product and super affordable!

• Worth the money

  I searched and searched for a water device that would satisfy the needs of my almost one year old. This is it! Look no further..gotta trust me. The canopy really shades them, and can be taken off, if it's a bit cloudy, which is a bonus, as other toys don't have that benefit. It's lightweight and can be folded back up if necessary. It is a great floatation device, doesn't tip easily and isn't hard or time consuming to blow up--just 2 chambers. (it took me literally 2 minutes) Also, if some over zealous 5 year old swimmer comes up to you and inadvertently hangs on, the whole thing doesn't tip, just dips down a bit. (eh-hem..) The air chamber tubes aren't super thick, so don't get anything sharp or semi sharp near them, as they will pop. (that's what happened to my first one) But even with one chamber filled, it still floats, you just need to hang on and really be a good watcher. You don't have to hang on to them the whole time, which is nice too, as sometimes you're talking or get distracted..it floats nicely and isn't too easily blown away in the wind. Of course, stay in the pool with them. I like the mesh seat they sit in..it's not binding either and allows water and air to get to them..no rash or rubbing, like some of the completely plastic devices.

  My daughter is 13 mon old and she loves to go to the pool with this float. I like the Canopy since it can give the baby some shade to protect her delicate skin. Plus the look of the float is so nice.

  This float is sturdy and I feel safe putting my six month old in it. It really holds her up and lets her experience the water safely. The canopy stays in place with hooks on either side, and I don't have to worry about her getting too much sun. This was winner! Highly recommended.
