• What a piece of trash!

  Trust me, there is a good reason why these chargers are dirt cheap. I received two of them, and they were BOTH defective!
  
  On the first charger, the light on the charger turned green when I plugged it into the 12V power port on my car, but it would not charge my iPod Photo. I noticed that the light on the charger itself blinked red for a split second when I plugged it into my iPod, but then quickly returned back to green and did nothing particually useful after that.
  
  It took two full weeks to finally receive a replacement from "BargainCell", which was unfortunately ALSO defective. This charger was a different model than the first one, which had a red light that turned on when I plugged into the 12V socket. When I plugged it into my iPod, it started to charge for a few seconds, only to "reboot" quickly after that. My poor iPod kept restarting itself every few seconds, until a bad battery icon showed up on the screen and the iPod froze. My hunch is that the second charger was not sending a steady voltage to the iPod, which was causing it to crash.
  
  Fortunately, my iPod did not seem to be damaged by either of these defective chargers. The iPod still charges when I plug it into my computer, and continues to play normally. I also know that the 12V power port on my car is not the cause of this problem, either, as I'm using it to successfully power both my GPS and my cell phone charger.
  
  The most annoying thing from this experience is that I needed to go to the store and spend far more on a working name brand car charger for my iPod after wasting three weeks with these pieces of junk. Please learn from my mistake, and steer clear of this garbage.

  Bought a cell phone battery that, of course, died one week past their return/refund deadline. Refused to refund or replace even though the product is CLEARLY defective. This company is a ripoff and will never do business with them again. Consider yourself warned.

  This charger is dirt cheap for a reason!! It is horrible!! When I first used it, I was dissapointed right away with the 2 foot extended chord (pretty much max lenth), because unless you have a car charging port right next to you, it is almost impossible to use your ipod while charging it. Also, when I first plugged it in, the charging indicator light was RED! What a dissapointment! Finally, much like in the first review, my 30 gig video ipod showed identical symptoms to that of the first reviewer's. It continually restarted and shut off from the insufficient power supply, and would freeze on me as well. I as well went home later and plugged my ipod into the computer, and it worked just fine.

  The product works fine.. But you know what, they just send by USPS, but charge a lumpsum shipping compared to product price.. They seem to make up the discount in the shipping charge, as I saw a similar product for less than this price in a local store... (That;s why 3*, otherwise the product itself is 5*)

  I ordered this charger for my 4g ipod and was dissapointed to find that it did not charge the ipod. it did charge the ipod nano though and seemed to work well for that. Im not sur eif i missed a detail in this product or what but do NOT GET THIS FOR THE 4G IPOD.

  I ordered this charger a month ago. Since, they've sent me three chargers all the same, all wrong. They've sent me the shuffle charger three times in a row. Don't waste your money on this product, for a few bucks more you can get a company that will actually send you the right product the first time.
  
  
• Charges, but not when on

  This charger only works for me when my Ipod is turned off. If the Ipod is turned on, the charger will automatically turn off.
  
  For me, this is an issue, because I want to listen to my ipod AND have it charging if it has no juice. This is especially and issue when driving.
  
  But I must say it will charge when off. Somewhat of a positive.

  I paid 3.30 for six chargers which couldn't of weighed more than 2 pounds total, and had to pay 38.99 for the shipping, they charged seperately for each item, and then shipped them all in one package. Although they rip you off on shipping it was still cheaper than buying at the store.

  I bought this bundled with a wall charger for under .50. Of course I was skeptical, but have had no problems using this with my iPod Nano. The shipping was around $5 so for under $10 I am able to charge my iPod anywhere!

  I wouldn't recommend this product, just take a look at the price. Do you want to trust a cheap charger with your $300 MP3 player? I went to a more well know manufacture and bought a charger from them.   I use this charger all the time with my iPod with no problem. I agree with another reviewer about the cord being real short, but for the people who had problems with this unit, maybe their car's electrical system wasn't performing right.

  I have contacted amazon and the seller about not recieving the charger with the wall charge but no one cares amazon say contact buyer buyer says contact AMAZON and over 2 months have gone buy and no one has helped me and fixing the problem I will never buy from AMAZON AGAIN!!!!!!!!

  This charge seems to take forever and never fully charges my iphone. Maybe I need to drive further, like to California. It works and gives a little juice in a pinch if on red, but my home charger works much better. Probably why I only paid $ 1.99

  I ordered 1 item on February 8 and it took BargainCell until February 19th to ship my order out. It takes 11 days to process an order for one item???? And it probably won't get here for another 5 days!!

  great charger and great price...but what's up w/shipping & delievery? i read all the reviews and concluded - before charging your ipod using this charger, plug it in first then plug ipod. to remove, unplug ipod then unplug charger from outlet....this process works and so far no problems...

  It did not even last for 10 mins. The product is made up of cheap plastic and losely tied. The whole thing came of when i tried to unplug the charger...don't buy this..although the actual cost is nothing but shipping is too much to pay for this..

  It doesn't work unless you have proper radio signals, and it doesn't charge. I wasn't impressed. I mean, I still use it while I can. But the sound quality isn't pleasant.

  my ipod car charger broke so i got this one as a replacement, it is better than my old one, it those not have that tangle weir so it has a long reach and it charges my ipod faster. the only thing that i do not like about it is that it dose not work on the ipod touch, not to shore about the i phone.
