Great quality for relatively low price! By A1GMNAWGRUWCPJ on 2006-08-31
The item I purchased is surprisingly low at price compared to other brands. Only I did not like the reseller that I was redirected to (XP Passport) they did not have any only support, their website is very poor and untill now I still did not receive any reply for my questions that I've asked them through their contacting email.

- Makes MSI Wind U100 even better
     By A2Y0LJLCXDFI94 on 2008-11-11
I plugged this into my MSI Wind U100 (took about 5 minutes) and noticed an immediate improvement in performance. I then went on to install Windows Vista on my machine, and it runs perfectly. If you have an MSI Wind U100, or are considering buying one, you must install extra memory (but please look into what this will do to your warranty - I have read mixed accounts on the web about how doing so will impact your ability to return your MSI Wind laptop)
- Perfect

I went from 1/2 gig to 2 gigs and the install was painless and the increase in performance, especially when running multiple programs was instant.

- Laptop battery
     By AK6RRP70JVE8U on 2007-10-03
I ordered this product by mistake. I read the reviews and thought it was for a desktop computer. I gave the memory to my father because he has a laptop. I just want to pass this information on because I personally could not use the memory. This is a laptop product and cannot be used on a desktop computer unless you have capability to use laptop memory. I am editting(how do you spell that?) to include a comment about the excellent seller involved. I received the memory in record time and was most impressed with follow up emails and the seller making sure I was happy!!!
- Flawless upgrade
     By A8YD30AWIJB12 on 2007-11-29
I bought this for my iMac as an aid to my Leopard update and it worked great and was very inexpensive!
With prices like this, there is no reason not to do it.
- Works like a charm on 20" iMacs
     By A6HIYEJGCE1MA on 2007-12-26
I bought this memory card to install it on a 20" iMac. I haven't had any trouble so far... the computer recognized the memory card at once, and the card tests fine under the Apple Hardware test. Very good price for such a high quality product!
- Excelent option!

I bought this memory module for my HP Pavilion dv2000 laptop and works fine. If you had the same laptop model, this memory is for you.
- This Sodimm is so bright!
     By AJWZRWAWG3D4D on 2008-03-21
The Crucial 1 GB DDR2-667 Sodimm memory chip does just what it's supposed to do. It easily snapped right in to my Asus EEE PC and instantly boosted my RAM capacity. No hassles, no problems. I love when stuff "just works." This is a trustworthy product at a decent price. Bravo.
- another success for Crucial
     By A2MZ2MSBFELUNH on 2008-06-11
Bought 2 of them as i only have 2 slots and wanted 2gb in my HP dv8408us laptop. Easy install of course and works fine. Effective product from a good company. About 1/3 the price of memory from HP (made by Samsung). I recommend this product and this company.
- Very Easy
     By A130YMN0USNFR4 on 2008-07-30
Got the card, turned the computer off, turned it over, took off the cover (1 screw), pushed in the card, installed cover, righted, and turned back on. Looking at "About this Mac" verified that the memory was "there". Advice - the card can go in two ways. Use a flashlight to look at the connector inside and look at the card and it is obvious which is the right way to insert.
- Mix-up
     By A24IHXF146ZG2T on 2007-11-02
Shipping was from two diffrent shippers igb from PC universe other 1gb was from xp passport, had to pay two shipping charges. They did not come at the same time so I put one in. Then waited for the other to arrive, it came two day later. I put the second 1gb in the computer I started to read the card the memory came in and check it with the other card they where two diffrent memorys one was 1gb ddr2 667MHz PC2-5300 the other was 1GB DDR2 533 MHz PC2-4200 They worked so I did not make and issue out of it Thats because cheap price $57.30 for two 2GB shipping from two venders $15.22 total cost of the memory $73.52.
- awesome option!

- Crucial 1GB DDR2-667 Sodimm Laptop Memory/Ram
     By A5G9ZJRWCB932 on 2007-11-26
I receive it in manufacturer bag. This memory is working great on my laptop. It's a really high quality cheap price stuff. You won't get it anywhere cheaper than here for this time (11-01-07). I think the price will change a little bit in the future, but not really big different.
- Working smoothly on my iMac
     By ARA8WU58PV9K3 on 2007-12-02
I have a 17¨iMac Core 2 Duo (Late 2006) and I upgraded my 512MB of RAM to a total of 1.25GB. My computer is working like a charm.
I removed one of the 256MB pieces (it had two of those) and replaced it with this 1GB to a total of 1.25GB. Apple says on its iMac documentaion that you better use matching pairs of memory. I did a research and found out that my model doesn't support dual channel memory so there was no need to look up for matching pairs. Proof of that is that I'm running with a 1GB piece and a 256MB piece of RAM. No problems at all. Apple just say that so you can buy, presumably, more RAM from them.
I'm curious though because Apple says that this model only supports up to 2GB of RAM. A friend of mine told me that all recent logic boards support up to 4GB of RAM, so I'd have to try if my iMac supports more than 2GB, but in that case I will have to buy a 2GB piece and I don't have enough money right now... and if it doesn't work I would have wasted my money. My friend says that Apple tells customers that the iMac (at least my model) only supports 2GB of RAM so in the case you want more memory you will be "forced" to buy the next model.
Anyone can verify if the 17" iMac Late 2006 does in fact support more than 2GB of RAM?
- Great Memory
     By A2NNJD8SG72H36 on 2007-12-11
I got this because I didn't want to spend a fortune upgrading my laptop's memory and it works great. Not much to say except it worked, that's about all memory can do!
- Excellent memory at an excellent price!
     By A2W2DV9325E7ZJ on 2008-01-04
I did a little homework on this one, and after reading up on specs and prices, settled for this little gem. It works perfectly in my MacBook (I have a black first gen from summer 2006 - a Core 2 Duo).
After a mild SNAFU with UPS (they delivered my package to the wrong address - fortunately a friendly neighbor rightfully dropped it off at the office and it made its way back to me), the procedure was relatively straight forward. Take out the battery, unscrew the L plate (small eyeglass repair-sized flathead required), use the levers to pop out the old pieces. Once this is done, putting the in the new ones requires more force than one would expect. They slide into the empty slots, but getting them to sit correctly was another matter. I had to tilt the laptop on its side and use gravity to help - for a moment I was afraid I'd break the trays, but it worked out in the end (if you install the memory incorrectly, the machine will not boot - and you'll have to open everything back up again and readjust). The 1GB modules (for a total of 2GB, versus the 2x 512MBs that I had before) seem to be a bit thicker than their predecessors. Hence the complications getting them to sit correctly.
Happy ending, and now my computer is blazing fast. No delay opening anything, and I can run everything seated on the Dock with no issue. I'm stoked. This MacBook is finally what it should be.
This memory is an excellent value for the price - and I'm very happy with the result. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quick and affordable way to kick their aging laptop into high gear.
- Unbelievable value

Bought this mem stick and put it in a Dell laptop. Works great....no problems. The price is really cheap compared to the mem Dell/HP/CDW etc sells. Will most certainly purchase from here for any future personal mem upgrades I do.
- Works great in my Dell Latitude D620

I added one of these to my existing 1GB and had no problems at all. It was like getting a new machine with that extra RAM.
