High Five! By A1E9UZ2XSKY2QL on 2007-12-28
This is the first mousepad i've ever owned that cost more than $8 and it is well worth it. i use it with a logitech g9 mouse and it is very nice. i thought i'd be using the speed side of this pad but i have come to find that my mouse feels much smoother on the control side and is also quieter. some have said that this is big, really big. yeah i guess so, but i have a relatively compact corner desk and it still fits just perfectly on it. i don't use the included wrist pad. i hate those things. i threw this one on the floor and now my cat likes to sit on it so it serves a purpose elsewhere. overall, this is very nice and seems to be built very tough. get it.
Oddly worth every penny By A9KFOV8A5E6AN on 2008-01-07
I'm not much for mousepads - the last one I had for optical mice lasted me 6 years and it was a simple 3M space one that has since been retired.
I couldn't believe I was paying this much for a mousepad, even one with a wrist rest (who uses those??? or so I thought...), but it was completely worth it. Not only is the surface much easier to control the mouse on, but the wrist rest prevents hand fatigue and is genuinely comfortable to use.
The mat itself is seperate from the wrist rest, so it's easily removable, however I'd advise against it.
All in all, worth the price.
Big and very accurate mouse pad By A2Q5UAOGZ80VAK on 2007-08-09
As hardcore gamer i really depend on good hardware. During my gaming times I owned several mouses/pads. This one is for my stable homme gaming station. It is big aluminium plate, double sided (speed vs accuracy) I am acctually using the accuracy one (less speed) with compensation via the mouse skates so it is like on speed one side.
I am not recommending the wireless mouses (even i am still using one), the aluminum somehow interference with wireless mouses, so i faced several problems with Logitech MX500. Which was solved by decreasing the length between the wireless base and mouse.
The exactres gell is really good one, it handle your hand for hours, the gum layer is also really well fitting the rest of the pad so it doesnot move on table.
PS: for mobile lan parties I use "Thunder8" aslo double pad but it's from "plasstic" with mobile case and little bit smaller than the razer.
Caution! Potential problem with wireless mice By A29H3VRWA6E20F on 2008-06-05
This mouse pad did not work with my Logitech mx600 wireless laser mouse. I think the aluminum in the pad interfered with the wireless transmitter. I set my old pad on top of the Exactmat and my mouse did not work. The further away I moved from the Exactmat, the better my mouse worked. This could be a problem with other wireless mice as well.
This is not a quiet mouse pad. The pad has a rough, hard surface that makes a significant amount of noise while mousing. I suggest ordering a pair of headphones at the same time if you don't already have one. If this had worked for me, I probably would have bought a second for the office, but I don't think my co-workers would have appreciated it.
However, it seems very well constructed, which earned it a second star from me.
Got scratches after just phew months of use By A37LGB6R2BN2DK on 2008-08-04
Best thing actually about this mouse pad is only the wrist pad , Am a hardcore player playing mostly mmorpg and FPS aka Counter Strike source , and used G7&G5 , the smooth side got scratched pretty fast , and the other side (rough) it basically ruined my mouse and got its surface scratched therefore byebye mouse since i need an extreme accuracy at CSS . So i suggest looking for another Mouse pad with better quality .
- Razer exactMat/wrist rest review
     By A3LLSMQT3MKBDP on 2007-09-09
This combination makes a perfect addition to my Razer gaming mouse. The exactMat is more than twice as big as regular mouse pads. It is made of anodized aluminum and each side has a different texture; one set up to facilitate speed and the other to aid control. Both do their jobs very well. The matching wrist rest relieves the pressure on your wrist making it possible to use your mouse without discomfort for extended periods of time. Both products are made out of premium materials and I think they will last a very long time.
I highly recommend these products for anyone who uses a mouse extensiely for gaming or other activities.

- WOW
     By A312JYQ4LBK13A on 2008-04-08
This mouse pad is great, one product from razer I actually like using. Some people may not like the fact that its very easy to move your mouse. I enjoy it. One thing that bugs me is that any little hair or dust that gets on the pad will scratch at your mouse causing it to drag I just use little lens cleaning wipes. Its big, gives lots of room to move around with.
- Very smooth
     By A15I0KKV62S6PQ on 2008-06-04
Smooth and percise. You can practically feel where the cursor is going to stop before it gets there. To the point.
The wrist pad takes some getting use to though. I use a wrist pad on my keyboard, but have not used one on a mouse pad. Not uncomfortable, just odd.
- Guilty pleasure

Using with a Logitech G9 and the combo works very good. Cost was a bit high, but it was exactly what I was looking for. mgn
- Very nice
     By A1VK3POF9ND2G2 on 2008-07-01
Okay, I really like this mouse pad. I agree with others about the wrist pad. I tossed it after 3 minutes. This mouse pad is very well made. Actually it's metal with surfaces bonded to it. It stays in place perfectly, and yes it is big, but it works perfect for me.
- Perfect Gaming MousePad
     By A3HWDSTRIB09C0 on 2008-08-29
If you don't know this product or if you haven't try this mouse pad, maybe you all think that for 30 bucks you might want to get something more than just a mouse pad..
NO !! For $30 I would say that the mouse pad is NOT OVERPRICED!! I am very pleased with this product; this thing change my gaming habit completely and paired together with any kind of gaming mouse(or even a standard 800dpi mouse), this mouse pad will ease up your mouse movement especially in the game.
There are 2 sides that you can use with the mouse pad, the speed and the control side..I still prefer the control side and use higher DPI or sensitivity on your mouse, but sometimes people also found that the speed side is also very useful to play RTS or MMO games to gain more speed for the cursor and get to your target faster. The special coating makes your mouse moves smoothly across the mouse pad with full control and relatively higher speed. The feel that I get from this pad is very different compared to other gaming surfaces; this one really gives you full control and stable feeling. I've tried some other mouse pad but so far this one is still the best.
The wrist rest is also very useful if your mouse is positioned lower than standard(i.e. if your desk is too low). Some people found the wrist rest is useless, but not for me; I would say that this thing gives more comfort to your wrist and keep your hand from feeling tired after hours of intense mouse movements.
The only problem for me is the size; this thing is gigantic and it will eat your desk space...but that is also what makes this pad rocks, it has a very gigantic size and surely you get the freedom to move your mouse around easily without having to worry about reaching the edge of the mouse pad.
Overall, I am very pleased with this product and I hope that if you are going to buy this item, you could feel the same as well.
Hope this helps you! :p
- Great Mousing Surface!
     By A2SNDF5BHAUXRM on 2008-09-30
Hands down this is the best mousing surface I've ever used. I have a Razer DeathAdder, and I wasn't able to see the full potential of the mouse until I got the ExactMat. It's a big surface area, and the 2 surfaces are great. I use the speed surface for normal use, and the control surface for gaming. But it doesn't really matter because both sides perform so well. The anodized aluminum constructing is very sturdy as well. Recently I found the glue from a couple of the feet loosening up, up that a quick fix. Overall this is the best mousing I've ever used and would recommend it to anyone.
- It's Worth It!
     By AEYEAH3C78BBZ on 2008-10-27
I only bought this product because I had a gift certificate to spend. I wouldn't otherwise have been able to justify the expense for a mouse pad, especially when my old one, that I had been using for well over a decade, was still working just fine (by which I mean it was still just lying on my desk doing what it does). But now that I've used the Exactmat I can see that it would have been worth purchasing, even if I had to put down some cash for it. I wouldn't have believed that there could be such a difference between a "normal" mouse pad and this one. But truly, there is. I don't quite know what to say except to encourage you, if you use your mouse as often as I do (pretty well all day every day) to give it a shot. I bet you'll be as amazed as I am. It actually makes a difference in accuracy, speed, and everything else you expect your mouse to do for you.
- Truly Tactile
     By A1MRPX3RM48T2I on 2007-11-17
I never buy mousemats. Ever. But when the Razer Copperhead I have started giving me trouble, I decided to try a proper surface. This item is SOLID--thick steel, with a thick coat of flat black paint that has a different amount of friction on each side: one rougher, for more precise aiming, and one smoother, for faster response.
As gimmicky as that may sound, it actually does work. A nice bonus is the memory-foam wrist rest: normally such things make my hand go numb, but this one actually seems to work.
The only con is that this isn't very portable--if you were to haul it around with a laptop, it's heavy, bulky, and I imagine the surface would eventually get marred and not work as well.
- Super Mat
     By AC5DGPMXW3ZRE on 2007-11-24
Love this mouse pad. Looks good and use is even better, matches great with my Logitech G9 mouse. Don't know why I didn't buy one sooner, cept maybe cause It was hard to justify the price on a mouse pad, no regrets though.
- Superb Mouse pad
     By A2DDRD1JAGF5Z3 on 2008-01-22
This mouse pad is huge and that's what makes it so good. Other mouse pads are too small or they are rough to move the mouse on. This mouse pad was designed for gaming as you are able to move very quickly. The mouse pretty much glides when using this pad. Also, with the wrist pad your wrist will be protected for long hours of gaming. My only gripe is it does tend to take up a lot of desk space and when you leave the mouse on the pad, it does move a little though you are not touching the mouse. Other than that this is a great companion to your gaming mouse, though you could use this as an everyday mouse pad, especially those who constantly have little mouse space and their wrists are constantly hurt.
Highly recommended for gamers, for casual use you won't need it unless you need a lot of room and wrist padding.
- A little indulgent, but worth it.
     By A2Z89MAO129H2J on 2008-02-03
I will admit, a mouse pad at this price point can seem to be a little on the extravagant side, but I can safely say that you will find it to be worth the price. You don't realize what a difference a simple mousepad can make until you try out one of these babies. The wrist rest offers excellent support, and the surface is as slick as ice for smooth scrolling. The only difficulty you may have is ensuring that you have enough desk space for this beast...it's about as tall as my logitech G15 keyboard with the wrist rest extended, and more than half as wide. It's a pretty significant chunk of real estate.
All told, if you spend more than 2 or 3 hours on the PC each day, and you occasionally notice your mousepad to be lacking, give one of these a try. It will truly make a difference.
- Better than expected
     By ASRZG93JLHTG8 on 2008-02-08
This pad is very good, I recommend this to anyone who wants to play better cause it gives your mouse more control, no matter the face you have chosen. Its bigger than a normal pad, but not that big either so you can have it in your desk with monitors or other stuff in front of it. The bottom line is this pad improves for sure your game experience.
- Awsome
     By A2IY19KAJ84O5M on 2008-02-25
Big surface for mouse movement, double sided differnt textured surfaces for your speed controll, wrist pad very comfortable and detachable too, perftect for gamers!!!
- Wow...It's actually worth the price.
     By A2RI12RCVI0A6E on 2008-02-25
I hate mouse pads. They're obsolete with today's optical mice that can track on any surface....or so I thought. I bought this pad on a 'maybe it will work' whim when I bought my G5 mouse. All I can say is WOW.
Tracking is incredibly smooth. The pad surface allows you to fully unlock the potential of a premium gaming mouse. The Speed side is incredibly smooth, and my mouse just glides. The control side it a little more course, so you are more aware of the mouse movement on the pad. I can't tell any difference in pointer tracking on either side, but each side definately offers a distict tactile feel. Both sides are equally functional, so which side you use depends on your own preference.
On a side note, I have a Logitech wireless MX600 that will not track on this pad, but works great on any other surface. I think you may need a premium gaming laser to accurately track on this pad. That was no big deal to me, as I was happy to use my G5 for everything and ditch the wireless.
- Nice Mat
     By A5MKXR9OU6MGE on 2008-03-06
Very useful mouse pad that is very easy on the eyes. A High quality product that I imagine will last me a very long time. I'm not crazy about the 'exactrest', and if I could go back I probably would have just bought the pad on it's own... You may like it though... I just find it kind of restricting for gameplay. If you want a good gaming pad - this is your product.
- The best
     By A34OB9FFY84L10 on 2008-04-24
If you game, you'll love this. At first I thought it was going to be another flimsy soft coated mouse pad like all the rest out there. Boy was I wrong. Its double sided and there is a huge diffence between the 2. One side is for speed, and they meant it. You want quick clean fast movement, this has it. The control side is still crisp and quick, but there is an added smoothness to the cursor that I've never seen while using any other mouse pad. It took me about an hour to get used to it... Now I wonder how I ever survived without it.
- wow. . .
     By A17FIU7C3NWFI0 on 2008-04-25
If you're going to buy a fancy gaming mouse GET THIS PAD!!! Its great. I bought a Razor Diamondback and so I got this pad to go with it. Amazing! The mouse GLIDES, once i stop pushing it it still goes. The wrist rest is really comfortable and it forms to your hand in 3 uses. I was playing FFOW (Frontlines Fuel of War) and I had to make a really long sniper shot. I simply switched to the control side and used my mouse's on the fly sensitivity, . . . BOOM! Headshot. The guy called me a hacker the rest of the game cause I made the shot. Great5 pad and worth every penny!
- Amazing!!!
     By A2EOFJDKVYHCOS on 2008-05-05
I love this mouse pad! At first I wondered how much of a difference it would make. I mean almost $40 for a mouse pad seems a little steep. Let me tell you it is WORTH IT!!! If you play games on your computer, then you should seriously think about purchasing this product. The one thing to consider is it's size. This thing is HUGE!!! So if you're working in very tight quarters, it may not work well for you. Other than the size, I highly recommend it...
- OMG It's Huge!
     By A3GCQYER8FJ89W on 2008-05-11
I've been suffering with a crappy cloth mouse pad for years. Decided it was finally time to step up to an upscale pad. WOW!! This thing tracks perfectly. Not to mention it's HUGE! A definite must for those who tend to pick up their mouse after running over the edge constantly.
- A bit Pricey But Worth It
     By A24IHDLKMH6BUH on 2008-05-16
The Razer ExactMat is huge. It's just over 1' x 1' (16'' x 13'' if I am correct), normal pads run around 6'' x 1'. Apart from being huge this pad comes with the feature of dual sides. At first I thought this gimmicky at the least. After I flipped the pad over and tried the other side that feeling left me. Both sides are constructed to the same degree of quality. The small four rubber feet, something I thought would never have a chance to stop this beast from moving did it flawlessly. In heavy gaming (53-man Free-For-All at Shipment in COD4)it stood up to me shoving mouse around quickly and jamming my palm into the bottom of the pad with no movement. The speed pad is very smooth and will allow slightly quicker mousing. The control side has small rough dimples that don't ruin your mouse's feet but do slow it up a bit. The ExactRest that comes packaged with the pad can get somewhat annoying. I like to have my hand close to my desk, so that I click with my fingertips. The rest doesn't really collapse with your hand but it is somewhat comfortable and it's very sturdy. Overall the construction of this pad, from the plastic/metal surfaces to the rubber feet was worth every cent I paid and I feel I am getting what I wanted. Recommended.
- Just perfection
     By A3MYTL93F2MS1L on 2008-08-25
This mouse pad is the best thing I bought from Amazon. It's so cool that even it has liquid gel for the hand. This mouse pad is certified by World Cyber Games and it has so many awards.
- Nice concept
     By A56CZC1N1787N on 2008-08-26
The hard fast surface is wide and durable. The gel wrist support has just the right mix of support and comfort. I tend to wear out the wrist pad and after a month the grapic design is fading. Hoping I can replace just the pad in the future.
- Large and in charge
     By A30J9L0L1U343N on 2008-09-19
This mousepad is huge...in fact, you can barely call it a mousepad. It's more like a mousedesk. A lot of people see this as a con, but honestly, it's for gaming purposes, and who doesn't run out of space on their mousepad when trying to scroll through equipment inventories or trying to zoom to the opposite side of a map, or while quickly trying to set your scope on the guy firing on your position? Not only does it provide you with a large space for your mouse, but it also provides you with two sides depending on what type of game you are playing. I find myself to be more of a fan of the "control" side of the board, as it is less 'slick' and allows me to, as it is supposed to, better control where I'm trying to point and click.
The smooth 'speed' side of the pad is great for twitch gaming, making it incredibly easy to quickly move your mouse pointer to wherever it needs to be. It also came with a wrist rest, which at first felt awkward, since I had previously only seen these things attached to keyboards, but I quickly became used to it.
There were a few complaints from people about the control side of the pad scratching the lenses on the bottom of their mice (or mouses, whichever you prefer...), but I don't think I've ever come across a computer mouse on which the laser lens was flat against the base, therefore making it impossible to scratch except by a pointed object. The bottom of my Razer Lachesis seems to be holding up very nicely, having only minor, usual 'wear and tear' marks on the bottom from extended use.
Being so large, and actually also being the hardest mouse pad I've used to date, it is incredibly resilient and sturdy and easy to clean. I just use a can of compressed air to blow any dust or anything else off of it, much the same as my computer.
All in all, an excellent product and worth the payout if you need a mousepad for extended gaming purposes that will last a lifetime.
- Nice mat with comfy wrist rest.
     By A37C3FZIJ71Q88 on 2008-09-20
Pro: Control and Speed side come in handy, comfy Wrist Rest.
Cons: Wrist Rest comes with a green snake logo in it that wears off and is extremely annoying until removed.
