Keen Women's Venice H2 Sandalx
    (18 reviews)
Best Price: $90.00
Sized properly, the Keen Venice H2 is the only sandal you'll you need for warm weather outdoor activities. It's made with Keen's TH3 Outsole, a non-marking siped rubber sole developed for varied terrain surfaces. The TH3 is a hybrid sole in Keen's trailhead sandal technology, giving you the convenience of traction in situations involving both water and trail. One of the best features is a V-strap forefoot capture design that helps hold your foot in place throughout each step, minimizing the chances that your feet will slide and become irritated against a wet footbed. The fast-drying polyester webbing features an AEGIS Microbe Shield treated SBR lining that won't irate skin when wet. If you raft, sail, camp or fish around water during the hottest months of the year, Keen's Venice H2 is your outdoor sandal of the summer.

Best shoes ever! By A1F9TUEVR0I2LH on 2008-03-11
I'm a girl who loves to wear 4-inch platforms. I hate flat shoes. When these shoes were first recommended to me, I scoffed at how low they were. And, to be honest, they aren't the prettiest shoes you'll ever own. But, no joke... once you put them on, you will never want to take them off. I bought them in blue, and I wore them all last summer and well into the fall. If I thought I could get away with wearing them with socks for the winter, I would (and I hate people who wear socks with sandals).
These were great for our vacation last year, which was nothing but walking, walking, walking. Not one blister! They keep your feet cool and dry with no chafing. The rubber front is great for clumsy people like me who trip a lot... no stubbed toes!
I wear them when I take the dog to the river. I can go right in with her. Walking on the slippery rocks is a breeze because of the traction. When you come out, just shake off the excess water, and they dry pretty quickly.
They might seem pricey, but I would gladly pay twice as much as I did for these seriously awesome shoes. The looks have grown on me, too. I get compliments on them everywhere I go. And I tell everyone I can how amazing these shoes are. My husband mocks me that I sound like I work for them or should be their spokesperson. Hey, powers-that-be at Keen, give me more shoes and I'll be your spokesperson!!!
The only negative thing I have found about them is the weird foot tan I had all summer from wearing them so much. But, it's not like I ever had on another pair of shoes for anyone to notice!!
OH another thing... you can throw them in the washing machine!! I've washed them a few times now after trips to the river. They come out looking like the day you bought them.
Pros: durable, breathes well, lightweight, comfortable, washable
Cons: foot tan, you may never want to wear another shoe again
Buy these shoes, you won't regret it!
Keen Shoes By AXDAVEINRPGOY on 2007-07-21
I own 3 pairs of Keens. They are the Keen Jamestown, Keen Venice H2, and Keen Newport H2. In my opinion, there are no shoes out there that can compare to Keen. This is quality at its best! All three pairs are comfortable and never need a break in period. I'm almost unaware that I'm wearing them! They go from hiking and running to trips to the mall or grocery store. Like I said, treat yourself to a pair, they are fantastic. Make sure you order a half size up as they tend to run a little small. Enjoy!
these shoes are a second home. By A1E4ISAEB0S39 on 2007-05-15
i usually have problems finding shoes that fit - usually i get scratches and scabs at least in the beginnig until the shoes mold into the feet. well, keens are a different story. these shoes are amazing. i bought them for a trip throughout asia, and i literally lived in them for months, and didn't want to take them off. they're so sturdy and waterpfroof - perfect on the road, from cities and walking, climbing, swimming, caves and hiking to rainy days and shower stalls. and they breathe - so nasty sweaty feet are a thing of the past. the shoe is designed for constant foot support. i really can't praise them enough. now i'm getting another pair, because my first ones were STOLEN(!!) in laos outside of a guesthouse.
Keen's are keen! By A3HG5UY3ZP0W1T on 2007-07-15
I received my Keen's in about 3 days. I loved the fact that I paid no sales tax or shipping! They are the best summer shoes ever! I wear them kayaking, hiking and going to the grocery. They look great with workout clothes or even jeans. I don't know how I lived without them for so long.
Great Shoes By AT6CA1S2DTGCJ on 2007-08-10
Love these shoes/sandals. Comfortable from the moment you put them on. They can be worn on almost all terrains, are very durable and provide a lot of support. I own 3 pairs so far.
- size matters
     By A1L660TSK3K1SU on 2008-05-15
Love the shoe itself. Comfortable, waterproof, stylish (?) and functional. The issue is that the sizing is not consistent between all of the Keen shoes. I have a different pair of Keens in the same size and those shoes are loose. The Venice H2 pair is snug but not yet to the point of being too small.
Overall, I love the shoes and would recommend them to others with the caveat that one must think about sizing up a bit.
- Great shoes for dog lovers
     By A34RUB9JE9SJSR on 2008-05-05
Keen should be proud - the Venice H2 is the only pair of shoes my dogs have NOT been able to chew apart! And they've tried!!! They are tough, have great tread, and unlike others, I do wear them with socks (I bought the black pair and wear them with black socks when it's colder outside). The only thing I do not enjoy is when I walk through stones or pebbles, they sneak into the holes in the shoe and get caught underneath my feet. Otherwise, this shoe is worth the price because you will own them for years with no sign of wear, even if your dog chews on them.
- Keen outdoor sandals

This sandals is very comfortable for long walking. I am thinking of getting another one but different style.
- Great shoes
     By A3VP7S1FXIGTUS on 2008-05-04
I do love the shoes, but you better think about ordering a half size up. I didn't take the advice from another review and ordered my regular size. I am returning them for a larger size. I just wish Shoe Mall had free return and exchange like some other companies do. I am looking forward to wearing these on my next trip.
- good hiking sandal
     By A2VB0YV9W8YYHC on 2008-05-31
I bought these to wear in Hawaii for hiking and exploring waterfalls and trails. I did get a blister the first day wearing them barefoot. But with socks they were great! Good traction and grip on rocks, even when slippery! Easy to clean.
- The Best Shoes Ever
     By A1W6VC2HIXB9Q0 on 2008-06-28
These are the best shoes! I walked for miles without difficulty, pressure points, or blisters. They are so comfortable I barely knew they were on my feet. I highly recommend them.
- Supportive but sweaty!
     By A1IN9LVY9QL620 on 2008-07-11
I do like these shoes a lot--they're great for gardening, hiking, biking, running on the treadmill, etc. They don't have quite as much arch support as my Birkenstocks, which was a bit of a disappointment, but I'm finding my feet don't ache at the end of the day either, so it must be just enough support for my high arches. And it was kind of hard to run in my Birkenstocks--though I did it--because I'm a dork :). It's just that I'm not a tennis shoe person, at all. So getting used to the closed in feeling of the Keens may take awhile. My biggest complaint about them is that the synthetic material of the footbed makes me feel so hot. I sweat quite a bit with these, which has never been an issue for me before. I don't sweat as long as I'm moving but as soon as I'm still, I do. So that's my #1 problem with these, and I'm surprised no one else has mentioned it. Also, definitely order a half size up from normal with the Venice.
- Wonderful, comfortable, practical shoes!
     By A330MXTGSKIQ0Q on 2008-07-12
Took my first pair of these with me on vacation & truly would not have needed any other shoes. (Terrain included streets, beaches, rocks) My feet stayed very comfortable, they are rugged, and very easy to keep clean. Pretty cute colors also. These are very much worth the price, had previously tried another brand but these are MUCH more comfortable.
- Keen's are all they're cracked up to be
     By A329H459PPXI52 on 2008-07-16
The Venice H2 style of the Keen selection is a delight. Not only do they offer several color combinations, but the styling is so practical, so comfortable, and so..."hip" for a lack of a better term.
How the insole cradles the foot has to be experienced. The odor controls, the cinch up "lacing," the protective rubber toe guard which blends in with the styling, the over all light-weightedness...are all features to die for.
The Keen is an ideal indoor-outdoor casual shoe for home, garden, beach, shopping, or restauranteuring.
- Pee-yu
     By A2408NI6PTRKZR on 2008-08-21
I love these shoes and am on my second pair. The one thing that surprises me is that they get stinky. I've never before had stinky shoes even with playing lots of tennis and being a runner. Thank goodness they are washable, but the stinkies come back pretty quickly. Not a huge problem, but you have to keep on top of it.
