• Absolute Must-Have

  This is an absolute must-have for anyone with an LCD-display phone. It's true, though, that it does take some care, finesse, good light, and fingernails to apply the protective shield to the screen.
  
  Mine came with a set of two (inner & outer displays), and a small swatch of pink microfiber cloth for cleaning the screens. The protective shields are themselves covered on both sides by a clear plastic film that must be removed. There is a label on each side telling you in what order they should be removed and how to install the shield. You do have to flick up the invisible edge of the film with your fingernail before you can pull it off. The inner surface of the shield is adhesive, but it can be removed and repositioned.
  
  It isn't as easy as it sounds to get it positioned perfectly, and I found that I couldn't completely get every bubble pressed out. However, once I put my case back on the outside of the phone and turned it on, I couldn't see the bubbles at all. For something so thin, it's amazingly sturdy. It also seems impervious to fingerprints, and the display is just as clear and bright with it on. The little cleaning cloth should also be handy for glasses and camera lenses.
  
  The problem one reviewer had with the shield touching the keypad must be particular to that phone. It doesn't seem to be doing that on mine.

  I've got my V3 for more than a year, and just recently I've decided to get it a screen protector. This 2 pieces one is really good, usually what I found in the market are those 1 piece ones. This Insten one comes with a nice package with free cloth so you could clean your screen before applying the screen protector.
  My phone screen had a tiny scratch from my last drop of the phone, but after I applied the screen protector, it disappeared .. haha what a surprise ..

  This product isnt that bad but i found a better one online that had more to it with material for the screen shield. So i gave this one to my mother while i purchsed the other one, plus the one i got has a lifetime warranty with coverage so i wont have to worry about damage done to my phone by the product and i can get the product replace at any time. Overall not bad but could be better.

  Ok, so i thought, why not, everyone else seemed to be able to use it. IT BITES! the inside cover caught every piece of dust in the air before i sealed it. And the outside cover was THE WRONG SIZE! i had to cut it to fit, it was HUGE! This was not worth it cause of the shipping. They could have stuck it in an envelope it was so small, instead they stick it in a manila envelope and charge u 5 plus for shipping

  The product is good. It fits nicely, takes a bit of finesse to install, stays on and does a good job of protecting the screens, I think. But, where is this "lint cloth"? For two pieces of plastic no bigger than a credit card all told, it is really pricey, and the shipping is a rip, and to top off the injury, they don't even send you the little "bonus" they advertise. I give it 4 stars because it works, but the marketing is a bit slippery.

  The protective covers were flexible, but didn't have enough magnetic pull to stay on the glass that needed protecting. The flimsy paper "spatula" that is given with the product to help iron out any air bubbles did not work well, it created more air pockets. The film was easily gummed up and became blurry and fogged. I never got a first use out of it. It was no where near the strength claimed in the description. Honestly, the protective film that comes with the new phone works better... and that's not saying much.

  This was definitely worth the shipping. The item itself was a few cents, under a dollar. The protectors are absolutely invisible if you apply them carefully, first making sure that the cover is straight and then applying it slowly going from one corner and using the squeegee. I did the smaller one first and had no trouble at all, I was a pro by the time I got to the larger cover. They work great and are totally invisible. A very good product that I wish I had for all my previous phones. Can't recommend it enough.

  What a terrific purchase! I was so tired of constantly wiping down my screens over and over again, but this little shield truly was worth its weight in gold! Although it seems insignificant at first, its great to have a clear scratch free, dust free screen every time I pop open my phone!

  I like the v3 for its slim design, I don't evenly like using those slimprofile clip on holsters. As for protecting my v3 I've looked at those clip on colored plastic cases and its defeats the slim look. These screen protectors from Eforcity were shipped quickly. Comes with good instructions, a special plastic squeegee, and micro fiber polish cloth.
  There no adhesive but some kind of polymer peel away both sides and sticks on. I can be removed and reapplied but if you are careful the first time then you'll be fine. Its not as thick as laminate but just right to not be obtrusive but its not flimsy like, kind of like car tint.

  OK, for the price, I am thinking that I am going to get a cheesy piece of plastic cling wrap or something along that line.
  Nut-uh.
  This is a tough piece of plastic that is crystal clear. The application on my razr phone was simple. The instructions were so easy that even I figured it out, and the shield fits the screen so closly, I now cannot tell that I have a screen guard on my phone.
  I am very impressed. Now my nephew is wishing that he had ordered one for his phone before it got all scratched up. I am going to check this same maker to see if they make IPOD screen covers.

• Hard to install and not very durable

  I should have been wearing magnifying glasses when trying to install this on my Razr because the fit has to be PERFECT or you can see bubbles on the edges. I wound up throwing the out the outside skin after my botched installation attempt. The inside skin started picking up junk on the edges after a week or so and so I pulled it off.
  It IS crystal clear, I'll give it that, but big marks down for installation hassles and lack of durability.

  I was really looking forward to protecting my screens so when I got the guards I immediately wanted to put them on my phone. Unfortunately they come with a sticker on the front that leaves way too much residue. I tried to rub out the residue with warm water and a towel, it just got worse. I tried to use nail polish remover (carefully) to take the residue off and it still wouldn't come off! After this whole process the screen was full of my fingerprints and residue all over! I had to throw them out because there was just no way of getting them clean!

  The screen guard went on the phone pretty easily. You do have to take your time putting it on especially to make sure you get the air bubbles out but you can always take it off and try putting it on again. The plastic gets a bit greasy from putting it next to your head but it is easy to wipe off.

  Nice lens cover - almost invisible. The hard plastic does not seem to interfere with the phone or function. The lens fits great and is less noticeable on the larger screen, where as the lip of the smaller - outer screen seems like it could get rubbed, due to being slightly raised. It's really not that big a deal. I even put the lenses on my son's phone without him noticing.

  Installing the two cover pieces was easy and almost instantaneous. There are two tabs you need to pull, one removes a plastic slip so the "sticky" side is exposed and can be applied to each of the two phone LCD screens. The second tab you remove after applying the sticky side.
  
  Well, the second tab I couldn't remove easily ... ended up gunking up the scratch-resistant surface (but not the LCD screen itself). After scratching for a few minutes, the gunk went away. It was a good proof-of-concept test ... the screen doesn't have one scratch on it after I was done. 4 stars ... 5 if the second tab could be removed easier.
  
  Side Note: This worked on a V3a MotoRazr just fine.

  I have two RAZRs. My first attempt was a disaster and I decided to use the outer screen as a template for what the screen size is supposed to be. (Why they have the wrong size I'm not sure). So the second try I cut it to size before separating it and applied it without a hitch. Then on the second phone I was at my fiancée's house which has many cats and flying little fuzzy hairs everywhere. (Not a good idea). So the application went smoothly but there were fuzzys under the screen rendering it kind of pointless to have a protector on it to keep it clean. It was impossible to use it and I threw it away. So 1/3?
  
  
• Crystal clear, worth the small cost, will order spare!

  I bought this screen protector after the link popped up while viewing accessories. It is crystal clear. You cannot tell it's on the screen unless you get some bubble or lint underneath (I did end up with one tiny bubble that is only visible from a certain angle - but then I was very tired when I applied these).
  One user stated the keypad outline (ridges & numbers) will imprint on the protector unless you wipe it off occasionally; but I have found that this slight shadow imprint shows up on the actual screen anyway.
  
  Application is simple but you need to take time and care. I do suggest using 'eyeglasses cleaning liquid' spray which I used with the cloth provided in package. This way I started with a pristine screen inside and out.
  DEFINITELY worth the small cost to protect your screen from scratches and the awful damage I have seen on other RAZR's. Fits my V3xx perfectly.
  Also, you can always peel it off if you want to remove it or reposition it. I will be buying a spare or two.
