Great Product By A36C2MWHUNDTFS on 2006-08-20
We are big Nascar fans and attend at least 3 race weekends per year and we have thought about getting one of these for a long time (sick of using public port-o-pots). This unit is the answer to our prayers. If you have used a toilet in a camper, this is very similar. Before I actually used the unit, I filled it with CLEAN WATER to test the seals and they held with NO Leaking. It is also easy to use and dispose of the waste. Good Product, Very Happy.
Excellent toilet! I have 3 now. By A32TXI1HPBAXD1 on 2006-08-03
When I am camping things couldn't be better than bringing along my own personal toilet. I don't know if you're like me but I can't go anywhere except at home! This is the next closet thing to my home toilet.
Let me just say that it's comfortable, lightweight and affordable. I've actually sat and used one while I was driving. Sure it raised me a bit high but all I had to do was adjust the mirrors a bit and I was fine. Did you know that the stick shift on a '69 Mustang holds a roll of toilet paper perfectly? Now you do.
Enjoy.
Camping and at Home By A13SG4RZCVEIMT on 2007-07-25
I had an older model of this type of portable toilet, but the years had taken their toll and it was time to replace it. The Visa 268 has been a good choice. The flushing mechanism is much improved over my old model and it seems much less likely to break. I also decided to spend a little more for the 268 since its holding tank is larger and that means more time between emptying. Of course, the seat could always be bigger for someone like me with a bigger sitter, but at least it holds up under my more than 250 pounds of weight. The construction keeps odors contained and I have never had a problem with leaking.
In a house with only one bathroom, and more than one person, this portable toilet is kept within easy reach in the basement. In case of emergencies, particularly if two people become ill at the same time, it comes in awfully handy. When camping, there is little better than not having to run to the public restroom, or out into the woods, in the middle of the night. Keeping this toilet right in the tent makes camping a whole lot more tolerable.
Perfect Backup Toilet By A3B290TG6J6NMM on 2007-01-09
Having a mountain cabin with just one restroom creates a problem when we have very many guests at one time. The Visa 268 has given us a great backup for "emergencies". The larger capacity of this portable toilet allowed us to go through the Christmas holidays and we only had to dump and clean at the end of the trip. We won't use it often, but when needed it will be invaluable.
Really great portable toilet!! By A2BT2L9MCZJBLC on 2008-01-06
I bought this porta-pot for a camping trip out in the desert in an area where there are no facilities. I was skeptical, but I really didn't relish the idea of squatting out in the open where there are literally hundreds of off-roaders zooming by throughout the day. I kept this unit in my tent and never have I camped with such luxury. No more freezing late-night runs to potty outside or piddling in a bucket to be dumped later. It was great!! No odor leakage problems between uses and it was very easy to dump out. I was worried it would get too heavy to lift since I was travelling sans hubbie, but it wasn't a problem. When I got home, I cleaned it up with a bit of water-bleach solution and a good rinse - clean up was very easy.
It comes with a 4oz sample of Liquid Gold concentrated toilet deodorizer that you add to the holding tank (enough for one load); if you plan to dump it more than once on your trip, I recommend you stock up on more of this handy item. Also, dealing with solids took a bit of ingenuity...I found that a very thin layer of TP at the bottom of the bowl took care of any sticky issues. I'm just saying. Another tip - collecting your "yellow" paper in a small plastic trash bag and/or adding it to the campfire pit saves space inside the holding tank.
- Ship ahoy...add a privacy curtain and you can "go" anywhere!
     By A66OQ16APB9DR on 2007-07-06
I purchased this unit for our 20 ft. runabout boat. Although we don't have a cabin for privacy, West Marine offers a "privacy curtain" for $30, which I see as a great accessory. So far, I've only used the unit once, while offshore fishing. As was commented regarding the seals, I had filled the unit with its 3 gallons of flush water, put some "porta-potty deoderizer/anti bacterial liquid" in the 6 gallon collection unit, and didn't have any leakage problems. Like many others, my wife and I prefer clean facilities. Anywhere you can comfortably place this unit, you'll find it to be very user friendly. I've not dumped the unit yet, and will be going back to my boat today at Dana Point Harbor to do some maintenance. I'm curious to see if 3 wks of "waste storage" has created any odors or issues? I'll let you know...............?
- Love It

I put this in my horse trailer and it works great....
Just right for a camping trip or trail ride!
- Tricky dumping
     By AZ2IQ6HZQ32TI on 2008-04-07
We purchased the Visa 268 for when we camp in areas with inadequate facilities. It was easy to set up and worked as expected. There was a bit of fresh water leakage around the pump. The key is to put enough fresh water into the bowl before using it. Where it got tricky was dumping it. It comes with a pour spout but it became plugged while I was poring it out. The best way is to not use the spout and dump it direct, then when it is almost empty open the flush valve and use a hose to rinse it out. Overall it is a good product.
- Modern Toilet Works Wonders!,
     By AI0NMYA3LKXW1 on 2008-05-19
This Port'O John, which is basically a traveling toilet, is a mild example of modern American genius at work. Designed by the team at Pzizer, which manufactures toilet piping vents and toilets for wheel bound people, it utilizes a battery to flush the waste and a collector unit that stores it in small plastic bags, easily disposed of along your travel route or at a restaurant garbage trash bin. Can fit inside a 4 door mid-size family vehicle, and comes with "spice" air deodorant and a pack of "rash free" toilet paper. I found it heavy to carry but eventually used an old wheelchair to push it around. Works good but don't use flames around it as the methane gas builds up.
- Great little toilet
     By A1OCZBEDZKN24W on 2008-06-07
I bought this item to go in my horse trailer. How many times have you gone out riding and there is no where to go potty. Im tired of that so the dilemma is solved...
This toilet is sturdy (Im a big woman) and plenty tall enough off the ground. Its wide enough and holds lots of water. I looked at other toilets and by far this one is the best of the lot. Im not going to write a book or even get technical. All I have to say Im happy with my purchase and so is my bladder....
- Visa 268 delux Toilet

The Visa toilet arrived in good good condition on the date specified. The product performs as advertised.
- Not worth it
     By A39NHDN8J4O7BK on 2008-08-02
I purchased this to be used for a camping trip with my 4 and 10 year old so I would not have to leave one in teh tent while I went with the other to the comfort station. I haveto say thsi unit is much larger than I thought it would be. It held all of us with a problem. It worked fine but then it began to leak around the hand pump. I don't think it is worth the price of it. If I coudl do it all over again, I would not have purchased it.
- A BIT TOO LOW
     By AX06RWKJJE2B6 on 2007-10-19
I PURCHASE THIS, FOR MY GOD-MOTHER WHO WAS RECOVERING FROM MAJOR SURGERY, HER BEDROOM WAS MOVE TO THE FIRST FLOOR, SO THEREFORE SHE NEEDED A PORTABLE TOILET.. HOWEVER THIS ONE WAS JUST TO SHORT, ACTUALLY IT WAS TO LOW TO THE GROUND, NOT GOOD FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS HEALTH ISSUES AND CAN'T BEND.
- Solid performer
     By A2TWJ5JEUNX1V9 on 2008-03-09
Bought this for a backup when we have severe storm warnings and the family (including wheelchair bound 86 year old Mom) needs to spend the night in the basement. Tested it out and found it well made and completely functional. looking forward to Not having to use it but it's there just in case!
- Cost too much for quality
     By A2YHM6B7PWDA5Z on 2008-03-28
I bought this porta potty for plein air painting out in the wilderness, but was disapointed in the structure of "the flimsy seat". Buy it at a lower price, and you won't feel "taken".
