American Apparel Infant baby rib hat

My baby is large for her age and wears 6-9 month sized clothes even though she is only 3 months old. I ordered two of these hats sized 6-12 months. They are way too big for my baby but will probably fit her when she is actually 6 months. Hats are made of t-shirt fabric and look just like the picture. You do have to tie your own knot on the top. Andrew Christian sent each hat in a separate envelope and they arrived on different days, but within the shipping time specified.

Cute, simple, stretchy, easy to wash. My baby's head is still a *tad* too big for it even as one size fits all, but overall I like it!

Great color choices at a very affordable price! The hat looks great on my 12-month old son, but could certainly fit a smaller child by turning up the brim one fold. The fabric is not too hot, as some hats are. My son won't tolerate most hats, and immediately rips them off his head. This hat is so comfortable that he forgot it was on his head and wore it around the house until I took it off for lunch! I highly recommend this product and thank you for making such great apparel.
For infants, not newborns.

This hat is too big for newborns, but once your baby grows out of those first knit caps, this is a great hat! My baby grew out of his newborn hats very quickly, and I had a difficult time finding one that would grow with him. This hat is nice and stretchy, and somewhat size adjustable with the knot. We'll be using it for a good long time.

We bought this hat in 2 colors for our little 2 month old daughter. She was a small baby with a tiny little head...couldn't find a hat in stores that wasn't too big for her. This hat was perfect!! Lightweight, stretchy, and ADORABLE. Perfect for all seasons, I'll be ordering more colors....the light pink and lavender were gorgeous.

- Great hat... Too big for newborns

I bought this hat for two reasons, one because the hat was a deep brown color and it went well with his coming home from the hopitaloutfit. The second reason was you could make a knot on the top of his head, which makes the hat smaller or bigger, it however did not get small enough for my sons head, so he could only wear if for pictures before leaving the hospital. He instead wore the hospital standard issued hat to go home in. Although I know he will have plently of use for it in the up coming months, since we are in the fall season and winter is yet to come.

I wasn't sure about this hat, because my baby has never worn one even after birth. Most of them just fall right off, or are difficult to put on and make her fuss. Luckily she was born in late spring, so we didn't have to deal. But it's cold out now and baby needs protection because she still has very little hair at 6 months. This has turned out to be a great purchase. It's extremely easy to put on, it covers her ears, and is apparently very comfortable (she never cries when I put it on). Also, it's extremely cute with the little knot on top. I bought it in red and will probably buy more colors in the future.

The sizes for American Apparel ALWAYS seem to run small, EXCEPT in this case. The "One Size" is fairly big. But the fabric is soft and pretty thick. I plan to buy more of these in all the perdy colors! :)

This hat is adorable! I bought it in 2 colors, and I'm happy I did. Baby hates hats that tie under his chin, so this works for him, and you tie the knot yourself which really makes it adjustable for different size babies. It's perfect!
