• FINALLY! The definitive Om CD!

  I have been studying Yoga and Meditation the past few years. Being the perfectionist that I am, I was determined to make this a big, comfortable part of my life, with only top of the line Yoga accessories that come with high recommendations.
  
  Between buying, borrowing, and burning, I went through about 20 CDs. Most were good, but none gave me the connection I thought came with the experience I was looking for. Then, a friend, who apparently was holding out on me, lent me his Chanting Om CD. It took me nearly 2 weeks to get around to listening to it, but WOW!
  
  THIS is exactly what I had been searching for! This was obviously made for people who crave exactly what I do. A deep connection with your surroundings while meditating. What you would like those surroundings to be is up to you! From the flawless audio in both long tracks (over 30 minutes each!!) to just feeling the vibrations come from my stereo. It is an instant relaxer. Never in my life had I been put so at ease, so quickly.
  
  Chanting Om made me buy all of the Inner Splendor Media CDs and they are ALL terrific! This is a great line and I hope that more are released. I've gotten this for myself but also as gifts to family and friends.
  
  I almost never review products I buy, but I wanted people to know about this. This is THE CD for you!

  I have pretty much every version of OM available and this one is my favorite.

  I have been playing the recording almost every day. This is a majestic recording, the blend of the voices, the angelic voices, it is evident the recording was made with great care and attention.

  I originally found the CD at iTunes but ended up buying two more copies here to give as gifts.
  
  This album cannot fail to induce a deep sense of calm. From the first tones, the beautiful sounds of the layered instruments and voices, singing and enhancing the sound of Om, flowed through me and a sense of timelessness prevailed.
  
  Each time you listen, it sounds fresh as there are so many differenct elements you can focus on. you can also Om along and enjoy the sense of resonance as each voice blends with this universal and most sacred sound.

  We've listened to all of the CDs in a variety of settings.
  
  Chanting Om is our favorite. We've played it on multiple occasions as low background music during work hours. It's soothing and rhythmic and transports the listener to a relaxed state.
  
  It is also a fabulous CD to play while doing yoga; it helps keep you focused while holding poses.
  
  Whether during meditation, yoga, or work, these cd's are perfect for anyone looking to achieve a state of peacefulness.
  
  
• The Om sound and Chants

  I have a large collection of various OM sounds and chants. This is one of my favorites! I would also recommend The Om Sound - Sacred Sounds Vol. 1 this one is just a sound with subtle changes. I like both, pure sound of OM CDs and Chants.
  
  
• Magical!

  There are many CD's that use only the simple OM sound. This one is truly magical.
  
  One starts out with a simple solo OM and during the course of the CD; layers and layers are added to the composition to unfold a delicate OM balance to the universe.

• Excellent CD!

  My teacher started using these CDs in our classroom while we did some thinking and meditation exercises and I couldn't believe how relaxed I felt surrounded by 30 people. The vibes in the room were amazing and I immediately asked her, after class, what the CD was and where she had gotten it.
  
  She showed me it was the Tamboura CD and said they were all available on Amazon. Now I have the Chanting Om, Tamboura, and Tibetan Singing Bowl. Each are wonderful and I highly recommend them!

  This CD is really nice, helping to enter deep meditative stages. I particularly like the second track, which adds music to the traditional chant of OM, but both are beautiful.

  Although this cd is what it says it is I found it a bit disappointing. The quality of the voices is very ordinary. would recommend the Tibetan Singing Bowls way before this cd.

  Without a doubt, the makers of this cd accomplished what they set out to do. I find myself listening to this cd several times a day because it helps to keep me calm and balanced during my every day activities.

  I really enjoy this CD, and have listened to it regularly since purchase. However, several minutes into the first track, a noise starts that really sounds like feedback. It's harsh and a little irritating, but not intolerable. One thing to consider is that I've been listening to this on a poor quality clock radio/cd player. Perhaps it is unnoticeable when played on better equipment.
