  Everything you expect good ram to be. Its fast, its fairly well priced,
  and its of upstanding quality.
  Vary good stuff if you plan to be using it for animation or video game stuff.
  Right now, its on a ASUS P5W DH DELUXE board, with 10000 RPM drive,
  3.2GH Intel D940, 8800GTX video card.

  one of the most gratest memories, but the nigative point is the cover (box),since it is very cheap one,so it is not safe cover and easy to break while shipment and may affict the memory chips.

  It really beats my Kingston 667 by a far margin. I am using it with my Asus M2N32 WS Professional motherboard with FX-62. Previously i am using kingston DDR2 667 2GB (1x1). But after replacing it with corsair 800 DDR2 i feel the real performance boost in multitasking and rendering.

  What's to say about memory when it works? Not much except that these are also easy to physically handle for installation. Like H. Shabab (above) I too am using these in a P5W DH Deluxe. From the Asus manual it's not clear whether this precise model was validated by Asus. Nonetheless, my set works flawlessly.
  
  
• Great memory when right settings are used

  Initially I had some troubles when paired these sticks with the Asus P5NE-Sli motherboard because some tweaking must be done in the bios: set voltage to 2.178v and timings to 4-4-4-12-2, rest in auto and disable sli-ready memory. I found this on the Corsair Forums, which is quite useful.
  
  These memories are capable of overclock up to 900-950 Mhz without relaxing the timings, and can reach up to 1200Mhz with proper cooling and timings of 5-5-5-15-2.
  
  They benchmark amazingly: Using Everest Professional Edition comparison, always reached the first 4 spots, including two number ones.
  
  You can't go wrong. In fact, I just acquired my second pair for Windows Vista Ultimate 64 (remember 32 bits OSes can't use that much memory).

  flawless operation on Intel extreme motherboard. recognized as 800 5-5-5-12, not sure about pushing them, i don't over-clock things just for fun like some of these whacko hardware freaks. i have better things to do with my computer than tweak my cpu and memory frequencies and run performance tests so i can see how fast my computer 'would' run, if i actually did some work on it... they run rather hot, not warm, but hot. doesn't seem to affect their performance. they scored 5.5 on Vista Ultimate performance index.

  This ram is some of the best I've used. I especially like the EPP, it basically gives you a guaranteed performance setting as well as a modest setting to save power. Haven't had a single problem with this memory on an Abit AN9 32X.

  I've had this RAM for a little under a year now and have had absolutely no problem whatsoever. They work perfectly and you can use every bit of those 2GB (not like some where they won't let you use more than 1.8GB of their capacity or something stupid like that). At any rate, I'd highly recommend them for anyone who is considering adding RAM to their computer. And $50 for 2GB is a GREAT price. When I got them, they were around $120.

  If this ram is so good, why bother in getting the CAS 5 version? I mean, ok, theres the price and then the overclock apart. CAS4 must run as CAS5 when its highly overclocked, and CAS5 can run as fast CAS4 when it comes to bandwith oc. So... is this the same CAS5 ram module or viceversa? I wonder why they dont make CAS 4.5 modules.

  This set of 2 Gb of memory ram it's uber great. They work super fast, my load times have decreased considerably ( specially in Battlefield 2 online, i can grab the helos first :P ). They are also fantastic overclockers allowing my core 2 duo cpu to reach a very high stable OC. Simply buy it, you don't regret it, ddr3 wont be worth it until next year ( they are sooo expensive for the little performance gain).

  after lots of tweaking and voltage changes in bios to 2.1V still not able to make them work nicely with abit ip 35E. clearly abit does not do as much compatibility testing to verify these things extensively. corsair on the other hands has a database of all tests done. - this particular combination does not shows up in their tests though. overall nice support site

  I ordered two of these, for a total of four sticks. One stick from each was bad, leading to failures in Memtest. I've used Corsair memory before and have not had problems, but this batch or version is pretty bad.
