• Nice USB drive

  Huge capacity for such a small USB (it's smaller than I thought, which is great). It comes with a lanyard that can be unattached on the USB-end, which can be convenient. I haven't used the features with a CD that came along with it, so no comment on that. The only negative side of it, I think it takes longer time to save files than my old USB.
  
  

• Transcend 4 GB USB Stick - Not Bad At All

  Transcend flash memory sure is becoming more common these days. This is a nice USB stick, somehow smaller in your hand than the pictures show. The small hole for attaching a ring or lanyard is very small but well designed into the body.
  
  As far as the Jetflash software is concerned I have simply reformatted this guy and I am not using it. It wasn't terrible, but I have no need for it. I am not a fan of Sandisk's U3 software and this stuff isn't changing my mind (actually has less in terms of features). Once again, it worked ok, I tested it once just out of curiousity. But ultimately, I'll stick to copying and pasting files to this guy and using a seperate software for encryption.
  
  As far as the price, you really can't argue with this. The value is great for the capacity. While this guy is slow, all my USB sticks are slow. Till something faster comes out, it's a good idea to just get the biggest drive you can.
  
  This guy has one of those caps that is easily lost if you're not careful. The SanDisk 4 GB Cruzer Micro USB Flash Drive with U3 (SDCZ6-4096-A11) has the advantage of the retractable USB connector so you never have to worry about the cap. It does run about 10 bucks more though.
  
  As far as reputation, Transcend still has a track record to establish. So far so good.

  I'm very impressed with this drive. I had originally bought a pair of 256MB drives in order to back up private information. I realized I needed more room to store my files on and decided on a 2GB Drive. Because of the price I ended up buying 2 of them and keep one on me at all times, the other is stored at home with files I don't keep on the PC.
  
  If you're looking to buy a drive, you can't go wrong with this one. It's small, comes with a handy strap necklace that can be detached near the drive and the hole in the drive is small and very secure. It also comes with some great software including email, favorites, password protection and much more!

  Great product at a very affordable price. I bought two of them and have no problems by far. It's fast, slim, sturdy, works flawlessly with XP, Vista and Mac as well. The cap fits tight. Fully plug & play and driverless. I'm very pleased and I recommended it.

• Another early, unexplained flash drive death

  Like another customer this product died after a little over a month. 1.5 gbs of data are now gone. I was using it on a daily basis at work, and for no apparent reason, one morning when I plugged it into my PC, it just would not work. I have tried it on other PCs & laptops, and am able to use the ports with other flash drives, so it is definitely a problem with the drive. For the month it was working, I absolutely loved it, it is extremely fast. I don't know how frequently those that have given this drive great reviews were using it, but this is the first drive I have ever had that has completely failed to respond, and as I said, I was using it for multiple hours daily.

  Stylish. Light. Cool. This flash drive is everything you want in portability and storage. Did I mention that when it is connected to a computer, an inner blue light illuminates the entire flash drive which matches the blue light emitted from my speakers? Yeah.

  It's fast at reading all files, and fast at writing large files, but slow at writing a large number of small ones. It took me over 1 hour to copy abt 500kB of small files.
  
  I left a msg with techsupp on their website months ago but heard nothing. Yet, I found other users on their website with the same complaint. Not sure if other mfgrs do much better, however.

  I couldn't be more happy with this product. It not only arrived way before expected, it came in perfect condition. The product is exactly as specified on the product page and it works great. It is as fast as any USB flash drive out there.
  
  What's also great about this product is the software that comes in the package. The software has many great features such as an encryption folder which will encrypt any files put into it and its own file compression folder for fast file compression. Also, it has many other neat sub-programs such as a computer lock, a data backup utility, an auto-login which takes login's from your home browser to wherever the USB is plugged in, and a basic email client.
  
  I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an EXTREMELY affordable USB flash drive that is definitely better than any others I've seen.

  This drive works great... But interestingly enough, just yesterday I actually dropped it running across the road (I didn't have it secure on my keychain) and discovered I'd lost it about an hour later. I went back to retrace my steps and find it and discovered it in the road runover. the key chain clip was busted and the drive itself was scratched up, but much to my relief it worked perfectly and my information was still all there!

• Solution to my problem!

  This flash drive was just what I needed! I was able to put all my information onto one drive, instead of constantly switching between my smaller drives. The Plug and Play means it works with all my machines, whether I am on my work desktop, the laptop, or my home PC. I was looking for a flash drive with a lot of space but that wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg. This drive is small, efficient, and has plenty of room on it, for a fraction of the cost the electronics store wanted! Why pay more when you can get it all for less?!

  This flash drive is the same size as the 1, 2, and 4 gig comparable ones, but with a slightly faster read/write speed. It's definitely worth paying the extra $5-10 for the fast read/write speed.
  
  I haven't utilized all of the software features of "Mobile email" and such, but sounds like it's quite advanced.

  This is great! I've had it for about a month now and have no problems. It works fine. It's kind of cool because when it is plugged in it lights up blue. (always a extra bonus!) I would definetly recommend this product and the price was very affordable!
