Its good in little amounts. By A13D2PLNS5OTBX on 2007-03-12
The game runs in weeks. And each week you have to do a certian amount of things, like jumping, or talking to people to become more popular. If you don't do all these things, which can be hard, then you fail nad you have to redo the week. So everything you did is erased.
The game seems to drag on and you seem to be in one spot for a long time. It seems that you are always on a goose chace. If you are trying to get somthing done, like get a book for someone, then you have to get a sandwich for someone else. And in order to get the sandwich, you have to help someone. Its enyong.
But the game if fun...ish. I think its ok.
If you like horses, you should buy it! By on 2006-12-28
I have only had this game for a couple of days. I am 10 yrs old and I really like it so far. What is good about the game is you are able to choose a horse or a foal or both. You take care of it (feed it, clean it, clean up after it) you can ride it (gallop, cantor, walk or run). You are able to see yourself riding the horse (you can see yourself holding the reigns behind the horse's head as you ride). When you are out for a ride there are people walking by, they talk to you and invite you for tea and you can ride to their house. What is not great about the game is there is a person that is always telling you how to care for the horse (a text popping up). This happens when you are cleaning or taking care of the horse. When you are riding the horse, you need to wait to be told when you are able to get off the horse (which is very rare). Another thing is that at least so far in the beginning there is only 2 horses and 2 foals to choose from and it takes a while to teach your horse how to jump.
But, overall I enjoy playing. It is a really great game and I recommend that you get it.
Good for the younger crowd By A1O7N4AWWSI6TB on 2007-03-11
For younger kids, this game is probably fun. It's linear, simplistic, and basic. I found the dressage controls annoying, as my DS did not seem to understand that an X is an X and an O is an O half the time. Moving the character around was irritating as well. She is slow, so it takes forever to walk back and forth between rooms, doing tasks for your friends.
Daughter says "Not fun" By A3APCYPMXZ8L82 on 2006-12-25
I bought this for my 12 year old daughter, who loves horses immensely. She played it for about 30 minutes and asked me to sell it. She stated that it's nothing like the back describes, it's hard, and she doesn't understand what she's supposed to do all the time. Basically , hard and boring. This coming from a girl who, no matter what the ds game is, almost always plays a game from beginning to end. So, it will be going on eBay, which means someone will get a heck of a deal.
Great game, will keep you busy. By A1OTM5J0W47X4P on 2007-04-06
Horsez is a wonderful game for anyone who loves horses. You need to train, and care for a stable horse. While your caring for the stable horse, you can compete and win competitions with it so you can earn money to buy horse equipment, get show clothes for yourself, or even buy your own foal! If you care for the foal corectly, it will grow up and you'll have yourself a great horse.
- Great Game!
     By on 2006-12-27
Please read all of review. Very fun but hard. I like how you get to plan your day. You get to choose 5 things for each day. I find the dressage to be hard and the jumping to be easy. What I don't like is that almost ever thing is timed. You have a limit of 2 mins. to groom your horse when in real life it takes about 30 mins. I find it very hard on the 3rd week because you can only go to the chat room once and I can't get very popular. You have to get all of your grades perfet to pass and popularty is a subjet that you get graded on. If anyone has passed the 3rd week please write a review. You should get this game. I love the jumping and the foal mode where you ger to buy as many foals as you want and in adventure mode you only get to have 1 horse.
- A good challenge
     By A39O04D0RVXGT0 on 2007-09-11
First of all I want to say that this game is not for a small child. It is fairly difficult to understand and requires good reflexes. I liked it for about the first and second weeks I played it, but after that, it got quite frustating and boring.
Pros:
-Good graphics
-Nice challenge
-Not just grooming, you actually ride and steer your horse
-Wide selection of breeds and foals to choose from
-You get to train cute little foals
Cons:
-Very difficult to walk to doors as a human
-No tutorial, just alot of reading
-Very repeatitive after the second week
-Frusturating when you just barely pass the week but you have to start over again, it even erases your foals
-The things you have to do, such as: training, jumping, and grooming are always the same and they get boring
-I, personally, had trouble with the amount of time they give you to read books
- Thank Heavens for Amazon

I looked everywhere for this game and couldn't find it. My neice loved it, she is a horse over and she got to play it like Nintendogs and take care of the animals. Very easy to learn and a great deal of fun. Hours and hours of playtime with this game. Can they make an adult version for me and call it Nintend-men so I can play with some boys my own age. Wouldn't that be a hoot, are you listening Nintendo???
- Great Game!!! But what's up with the third week???
     By on 2007-02-12
This is a very fun game! You can take care of your house, ride it, compete with it and other stuff. Oh, and the person who asked the question about the 3rd week and how you can only get to go to the chat room once, if you take a 'stroll' you get more popular too! But what I don't get is that in the 3rd week I get a perfect in ALL of the things (Popularity, Dressage, Jump and Cross) My Horse is full heath and mortality (or whatever it's called) but my horse LEVEL (One of the things they test you in to tell if you can go to the competitions and next week.) stays at the half-way mark no matter what I do. Is that because I didn't beat Antonio or whatever his name is? I've tried multiple times to beat him, but I don't know how....But anyway this is a great game and I enjoy it. I would've gave this game 5 stars if it wasn't for the stupid 3rd week...
- okay game
     By on 2007-03-22
I think this game is okay. It is sort of fun, but can get a little boring. At first, the game was confusing and hard to control. But, I got the hang of it. Overall, this is an okay game. You should buy it if you like to take care of horses.
- What I think about Horsez
     By on 2007-03-07
I am 11. Horsez at first was pretty cool, but after a while it is pretty much the same thing over and over again so it gets really boring. I would probably recommend this to younger kids. I personally did not think it was a very good game.

- Cute Game
     By A3NJFL1AYVBXH7 on 2007-01-05
This is a cute game for young children. You get a horse and then have to take care of it. It can get boring and is very similiar to Catz, Dogz and Hamsterz. My daughter enjoys playing it.
- She loves it
     By A3NMU7ZRDMIRT3 on 2007-01-18
I bought this for my 14 year old daughter who is involved in showing horses and has a real passion for them. She didn't know this game was even available so it was an added surprise when she opened it on Christmas day. A definite hit.

I bought this for my daughter (11) for Christmas, she has played it constantly. She loves horses and anything that about horses! This game is similar to the Nintendogs ones, and is apparently fun to play. My younger daughter (4) likes to play it too, even though she doesn't really read yet she can play it well enough to enjoy the fun. I recommend this for anyone on your gift list that is a horse lover!
