  I'm also not happy with this costume for the same reason as the other reviewer. The picture is misleading regarding the hood. The mask is so small that no child with a head larger than a lightbulb would be able to use it. The costume is cheaply made and not what I thought I was buying.

  I am not happy with this spider man costume. When I ordered it online it showed the full hooded mask for this size. I don't think my child is going to want to wear this beanie cap. He's three years old and he knows the difference.I may have to return this suit. Thanks Cindy Wilkinson

  I was disappointed in the costume. The pisture on the site shows a full mask, but the one I received has just a face mask and a hat- It is deceiving!!!

  My son just received his costume today, and he is very excited about it. I wish I would have read the reviews before I ordered, because I was also misled by the photograph. I expected to receive the mask which covers the whole face (although it sounds like that mask doesn't allow for breathing). My son is three, also, and I fear he will be disappointed with his, if he sees that someone else has the full face mask on. The hat is too big, although my son is of average size. The eye mask doesn't have big enough holes, nor the right spacing, to allow him to see properly, and he won't allow me to cut bigger holes. I will probably end up painting his face like spiderman. But, overall, he seems happy with his costume, so that is a good sign.

  My son received this costume for his 4th birthday. It's absolutely not worth [...]. Very cheaply constructed and the mask doesn't fit properly. It also runs very small. My son wears a 3T and this costume sized 4-6 fit him perfectly. Look elswhere for a spiderman costume; it can't be worse than this one.

  This costume is not worth buying. It is made of very cheap fabric and the hood is not made for wearing a long period of time. My son is unable to breathe through the mask because there is no opening for the nose or mouth, it is also too tight fitting.
  
  
• Cheap Spiderman Costume

  My 4 1/2 year old boy was so delighted when we ordered this Spiderman costume. I ordered it large as I thought they might run a bit small and I want him to wear it for a while. He is a 4T and I got the size 7-10. The 7-10 outfit barely fits him although it is extremely long in the arms and legs. The mask does not fit his head and barely fits his 2 year old brother. The crotch seam ripped out after 2 days of playing - only about 2 hours of wear each day and the cuffs are "running". I have not sent it back since he is upset that he would be without it. Purchase a costume from another company - you will be glad that you did.

  The hood fit my child's head just fine, and he is seven years old. It was not terribly sturdy, but most cheap costumes aren't. I guess they're not made for kids with huge heads. If your child has an abnormally huge head, I guess you need to look for something else. We did not have this problem, and my child was extremely pleased with it.

  This product seems to be for "delecate" frames. The costume we ordered was suited for us because we are six and we wear a 4-6 size. Order big if you are larger built; go for the best fit if you are of smaller build (bone structure). Great for smaller builds.

  I believe that this halloweenal disguise outfit was very lovely. I felt like the real super-hero named Spider man. The mask fit properly and the actual apparel fit me like a glove. A very tight glove. Although this unsatisfactory size did not captivate my upmost fondness, this disguise was still "5 stars." I cannot wait to show this costume to my friends. They will be very jealous and everyone at my highschool will for that matter! Thank you for creating this amazing high-tech quality Spider man costume!

  I can't image what the kids that this doesn't fit properly look like. Unlike other types of old fashioned halloween costumes that kids might wear street clothes under, super-heros wear spanex and any decent looking super-hero custoume will fit skin tight. That's why Superman used to have a pocket in his cape, as his pants were too tight for his wallet. A child we know has gotten almost two years of wear out of one of these and it is in good enought shape to be passed along to his little brother to wear.
  And as to the suggestion other folk buy a Spiderman costume from another company, these are LICENSED Costumes. You can only buy them from a company who has purchased the rights to make them.

  My son LOVES this outfit!! The mask runs a little small and barely fits my 3 year-old's head and the costume is huge - I had to hem the bottom. But he doesn't care and really enjoys wearing it and playing.

  This costume was received as described and in a timely manner. But, after a few wears and some "kick attacks", the costume started to rip. Quality not the best, but my son still loves to wear it.

  there was a good and bad side to this item. the good side was that it came faster than i thought it would. the bad side was that it didn't have the same mask as shown in the picture. the mask that was sent w/ it was actually quite crappy. so i just ended up painting my son's face instead.
