Not Water proof!

This backpack looked great until it was worn in the rain. Everything inside, my laptop and books were soaked! Who would have thought that it wouldn't be somewhat water proof?

I was a bit apprehensive when I selected the color(charcoal blue) since it didnt give the bag a fresh,new brand look. I got my bag withing a week and when I saw it, it was not at all disappointing. Overall, I like the bag very much. Too comfortable to carry al sorts of things that u need. My only concern(and a trivial one) is that my laptop has to be pushed in it with a little force.It would have been better if the laptop compartment would be a bit larger. But overall..the bag is too good. An indeed very good product to have!!
High Sierra Back Pack

This is the 2nd High Sierra back pack that was purchased in our home in 4 months. Upon a recommendation from his younger sister my older child, an 11th grade boy bought the exact same bag. He is not real particular about the color, the number of pockets or the style. The most important thing we looked for was durability and the large space for many books and binders.
Everything works with this bag. I picked 4 other bags at retail stores, some more expensive, some less and one brand name that he didn't want to wear but he wasn't happy with any of those choices.
This is a perfect bag.

This backpack is great! It's waterproof so my school stuff doesn't get wet in the rain. The straps are cushioned so the weight on your shoulders doesn't feel as heavy. It was a great find!

Very Good Bag. Spacious. Perfect for the College Student on the Move. Probably should have gone with a different color since green is a little easy to get dirty, but I still like the colors. I'm particularly fond of all the storage space though I have a tendency of forgetting where I put things inside the bag.

I got this bag for school. it fits everything. It has an inside sleeve for your laptop or binders. It's waterproof and the straps are cushing so they are very comfortable.

First PINK...Love the color. The backpack is light weight, and provides great protection for my laptop and MP3 player. There are various compartments for whatever the need. It is very comfortable and after toting a laptop bag around for more than a year, this is a terrific change. I am much more mobile than before. Can't say enough good about it. Urah!

I had been searching for a few weeks for a good laptop backpack for college. I didn't have a lot of money, and I had a few reconmendations for High Sierra. I got the orange/charcoal and I was not disapointed. It's a big back pack but not huge, espically if theirs only a few things in it and it's made out of a heavy duty feeling material that manages to be very light. I also appreciate the hard back to keeping the laptop level. I has only as much padding as it needs (around the laptop compartment) keeping the size and wieght down. I has multiple pockets, including the previously mentioned padded laptop compartment, which perfectly fits my 15" MacBook Pro. the front pocket is perfect for holding my travel mouse, usb memory sticks, and power adapter, and the felt lined "media" pocket (which is actually designed for iPods and CD players) is a great place to keep my small camera safe. The padded straps and back are very comfortable and the 2 side water bottle sleeves are greatly appreciated. My only gripe with the backpack is that the zippers (which are the oversized heavy duty kind which I like) seem to get stuck more often than not. This ma seem like a small gripe, but it really gets annoying when you have to try 2 - 3 times just to open a pocket. Luckily this is only on a few of the pockets and doesn't really happen on my backpacks laptop compartment which I'm opening and closing the most. Besides that, it's a highly recommended laptop backpack for those on a budget.

Super look. Super layout of pockets, even includes pockets for Mp3 Player, Water, Cell Phone. Bottom pocket is a good byond words for organising travel documents, etc. Last but not least it hold my Gateway portable. Very good value for money. Strong and takes the hard knocks with ease. Comfortable to carry.

This back pack is great. It is very durable and lightweight. I have a lot of books this semester and they all fit in it just fine, and plenty of room for whatever. And even when it is full it does not bulge out like many other bags do. I would reccomend this bag to any one even if they don't have a laptop.

The backpack is nice with a lot of room inside. However, there are 6 zippers for separate compartments which is way too much. I do wish that the back compartment could have taken over the next zippered space.
It is also quite big. I'm 5'4 and I feel dwarfed by it.
Overall, it is good quality and should last me awhile. My laptop fits in nicely too.

I just started college and needed a bag for my laptop and my books. I have a Acer 15.4 and it fits snuggly in the bag. The bag itself is a bit heavy. When you add the laptop (6lbs)folders notebooks and softcover books it was a bit heavy for me. I have had it for about 1 week and I seem to be getting used to the weight. My books are not that big so I am conserned when I do get big textbooks, or when my folders start to get full. I also carry a small lunch in one of the front pockets and 2 water bottles on either side of the bag. It is a very large bag and hold just about everything. It took me a while to get used to all the different pockets. I guess if I start lifting some weights I should be fine with the bag next semester when I get bigger books!!!LOL :> I love the color,the padding is great because it protects my computer,and all the room it gives me....just wish it where a bit lighter! I should mention that I didnt really pay for it,i used my Amazon rewards certificates. So I guess a free product is better than nothing!!!
