A good solid bag By A3KCB80Q7OYYMU on 2007-05-18
I bought this bag when I started college. It holds my books and binders, as well as my phone, pens, money and personal items. The bag is comfortable on my back and not to heavy. I recommend this bag for every highschool and college student.
Awesome Backpack By A2LR0FOHUFZWJV on 2007-05-30
I bought this backpack to carry my stuff when I bike to work. I successfully fit clothes, shoes and all my shower supplies, including a hair dryer and curling iron. It's much bigger than it looks. On a 12 mile ride, it was pretty comfortable on my back. As you might expect, it's not very breathable and therefore pretty hot to carry on warm days. Aside from the extra weight and wind resistance, I barely even notice it is there.
spacious bag By A1GDI74HT146S9 on 2006-12-20
I bought this when these bags were on sale. A good spacious bag to carry your stuff for a weekend away as a carry-on in flights without having to deal with checkin hassles. It is spacious and comfortable. I wish the material was a bit more sturdy but it is a good value for the price.
High Sierra Jackknife Pack (Charcoal/Chipotle/Black) By A2X9EETH2J927T on 2007-01-03
It was a gift for my boyfriend and he loves it a lot. We can't share the backpack, I think it's very useful with all of the pockets. And I took it by super saver shipping. That's the best shopping feature for me :)
Good value for some people By A17J23XGHDUBIK on 2007-10-18
Generally a good-quality product but the material is too thin for my taste. Can't compare the overall quality to The North Face Big Shot, for example (it costs three times more, too, I know)
Otherwise, for $25 a great value for someone who is not going to carry heavy stuff.
- I really like this backpack!
     By A371Q4X7SGJ29G on 2008-05-09
I had ordered another High Sierra backpack, and although I didn't really like it, there were some features of it that I felt were thoughtful, and I kept wishing I had another backpack that incorporated them. I had looked at this backpack when I bought the first one, but felt it was too expensive. Finally, when I saw that the price had come down, I went ahead and ordered this one. Am I ever glad I did! There are just tons of cool features; it makes it so easy to keep all my stuff organized, and I haven't even used all the pockets! It's also extremely comfortable. This may seem minor, but the zippers and their pulls are solid and heavy duty; overall the pack feels very durable and protective. If I had a quibble it would be that there's not one huge pocket, so it's a little difficult to pack in really big items, but I usually carry big stuff in a duffle bag anyway. The excess strapping is also a little long and dangly; I'm still working out a way to manage that. All in all, though, this is a great backpack!
- Great pack!
     By A3MHZ03VD1GQ6D on 2008-05-16
This is a great day pack, especially for the price. Lots of room for stuff and the side compartments for water bottles are quite convenient. The pack also has a nice hip strap to take the weight off of your shoulders. This comes in very useful when using it for extended periods of time. I used this pack on vacation and on day hikes and absolutely love it.
- Backpack for every need
     By A1YQ83Y5YRSL0P on 2008-06-29
I received this bag last week and took it for hiking and kayaking. I liked the comfort of the bag. It has all kinds of pocket for every need Cellphone, music player, shuffle hook on strap, keys hander.I used shoulder strap for securing my Apple Shuffle.
The best thing is two bottle holder and it has deep pocket. It will hold the bottles tight. In case you don't want to carry bottle, you can store eatable like Nature valley or other energy bar and close the zipper.
Overall, I liked the bag. I have order black color due to low price. May be they can decrease the price of other colors.
- Very Comfortable
     By A3PIPBN4F6BIQ1 on 2007-08-08
this bag is not just comfortable for the price! IT IS Comfortable and very nice. I got it is pink and just love it! The straps are very padded and offer alot of support. This bag is definitely very sturdy. It is not huge but definitely good size!
- Commuter bag
     By A3RDC4JNBRK29J on 2007-08-09
I use this bag every day to commute (an hour each way) on my motorcycle. It's held up extremely well now for the last two years. It's a bit smallish for what I need, but that's probably just because I am a notorious over-packer. The zips and pockets are still in extremely good shape. I think the "water bottle" pockets on the side are worthless, though. I need another bag just like this one so I can convert them both into saddle-bags. This pack is worth it's price.
- AWSOME BACK PACK!
     By A3DXALJIPG5MJR on 2007-09-03
I bought two of these back packs for my kids for school. I think that these packs will last longer than any other pack that they've had. The materials used on these packs are strong and quality, the zippers are large and easy to use. I love how the main compartment opens up so large, we will have no problem putting odd shaped objects in the pack! There is a compartment for all your things. It's not a back pack like your parents used, it has a sleek look without compramizing comfort, the padded ergonomic shoulder straps feel great. The waist belt should be on every pack! With my kid's old packs they would flop up and down when they ran, the quick release belt on this pack keeps it secure on their body. I wish that I had a pack like this when I was going to school! I would recommend this to any one that needs a great back pack!
- Great value pack!
     By A2YQ6WY43E55EK on 2007-09-19
This is a great quality backpack. It's plenty of space to hold all my textbooks (I'm a college student) and other necessities. It has a nice variety of pockets and the strap suspension system works nicely on my shoulders.
I would recommend this pack to any student!

     By A1VZ4PVWN6Z6J3 on 2007-11-28
This is a very good bag. Bought 1 for my daughter 1st, she carries 4 to 5 books in it everyday. I have yet to see a torn or worn seam.Bought 1 for my son who loves to drag his on the ground, after 3 months no sign of tearing. wish I ordered 4 at that price. now the price has increased.
- High Sierra Backpack
     By A28YAC9ZD2IWLT on 2008-01-19
Considering the every reasonable price I paid for this backpack, I was apprehensive about the quality. However, the High Sierra backpack exceeded my expectations. I feel that I got a bargain. The quality is up there with much more expensive backpacks. The only criticism I have is that I would have preferred a chest strap rather than a waist strap in front. I was able to make the alteration myself without any problems.
