• Not as good as the nintendo battery

  Positive - the screwdriver that comes with the battery fits the nintendo DS lite screw well.
  
  Negatives -
  #1 - The battery I received is a very tight fit. This is advertized on the package as "you can swap batteries in a snap". It was difficult to get the battery in, and required a small flathead screwdriver to pry it back out (the screw is a phillips, so you need to take an extra flathead with you). Not what I would call "a snap".
  
  The original nintendo battery goes in and comes out of the battery compartment easily.
  
  #2 - The packaging claims "up to 3 hours extra play time". I have not tested the battery because of #1, but my son has played for well over 5 hours on the original nintendo battery without requiring a recharge.
  
  #3 - nintendo offers a replacement battery that is supposed to be the same as the one included with the ds lite for $15 plus shipping.

  Don't waste your time or money with this product. I tried to insert the battery and it didn't fit in the battery slot. I compared this battery's dimensions to the Nintendo battery. This battery is .8 mm too big to fit into the battery compartment.

  I highly suggest you skip over this, and purchase a Nintendo original. I purchased this battery as a spare, because I do quite a bit of trans-pacific travel. The claims for this battery are that it will give you 3 hours of play time. I find this ridiculous. In all of my attempts, I have received a little over 1 hour of actual play time. While I have had no problems with it fitting into the battery slot, it seems that others have.

  screwdriver doesn't quite fit, and may actually round off the screw instead of backing it out if you're not careful. The battery is a shade big for the slot. If you get it to fit (not TOO hard to do) then it works like it's supposed to.

  These days, with so many customers ourchasing the Nintendo DS Lite, many are just wearing the life out of their batteries out. For Intec, they have developed a convient battery for you to use. Their Nintendo DS Lite battery is simple to use, and easy to install. You could use this for longer periods of time, while playing your favorite Nintendo DS games like New Super Mario Brothers, and many more. While you could get Nintendo's battery only through their online store, at a more expensive price, Intec's battery works just as well. I absolutely recommend it a whole lot.

• Screwdriver sucks

  The screwdriver provided doesn't actually open the compartment! And then the battery still didn't work when I managed to pry the compartment open (although I am not sure if that is the fault of the DS or the battery). I would not buy this at all.
  
  
• The replacement battery sucks.

  Thought this was a good deal but was too tight and I ended up forcing it into the DS and now the DS won't work at all. All in all, a very expensive replacement battery as I had to replace the DS at a much higher price than original.

  Very nice, I use it a lot.
  Only negative comment is that the screwdriver did not fit my DS Lite's battery compartment screw.

  I originally purchased this product because I thought there was a problem with my original DS battery. It turns out I had to send my DS lite in for repair, to Nintendo (which by the way was a plesant experience 5 STARS!!!).
  
  Like others have stated, this battery is a little tight but it will fit. I have never run it down to empty so I don't have an opinon on the battery life.
  
  I have a Gloss Black DS Lite. Oh and yes I paid like $2.00 for it on Amazon. I am giving it three stars because of the snug fit.
  
  
• It works

  Used this to replace the battery in my Cowon iAudio X5. After a little modification, a little electrical tape, and some soldering, works perfectly. Definitely an improvement on the 3 hrs I was getting with my old battery.
