  Perfectly sweet and endearing movie starring everyone's favorite Big Red Dog. The story follows Clifford and his friends, Cleo and T-Bone on their adventures as they try to win a talent contest which would bring them a lifetime supply of Tummy Yummies. There are some new and colorful characters that quickly win you over, including Shackelford the High-Flying Ferret and Rodrigo, the Chihuahua of Steel. Together this funny group learn what true friendship and loving dedication is all about. The music is wonderful, the length just long enough not to make kids squirm in their seats. A lovalbe favorite in our home.

  For the record, I am over 13 I saw this movie on cartoon network since there was nothing else on. at first i thought it was a stupid idea. five minutes into it,I ended up loving it.I love dogs (i have cairn terrier) the characters are very interesting.(i like the cow) if you are a parent watch this movie with your kid. you will both love it.

  My three year old loves Clifford books and the series on PBS. However, I was skeptical about getting this movie for her. But, we both love it! What I really like is that all of the voices from the series (John Ritter, Cree Summer, etc) are in the movie. I think this is really important to little minds who may not understand why Clifford is sounding different. The animation is not as advanced as some other big screen releases, but it is much more detailed than the series. It's bright, colorful, and fun to watch. The plot itself is not overly scary. My daughter won't watch Disney movies because she gets scared, but this didn't bother her at all. A great movie!!!
  
  

• Clifford, Cleo and T-Bone Join the Circus on the Mainland

  An excellent 74-minute episode of "Clifford" - the show works well as an animated feature-length film. "Clifford's Really Big Movie" uses more sophisticated animation techniques, so the characters look a little different than the TV show but the voices sound the same.
  
  Note that most of the story in the movie takes place on the "mainland" (i.e., NOT on Birdwell Island) with a new set of characters that are part of an itinerant animal circus act. The plot revolves around an adventure with Clifford, T-Bone, and Cleo - the other "Clifford" characters (i.e., the residents of Birdwell Island, including Emily Elizabeth) are peripheral to the story.

  This movie rocks! I am 10 years old and I even love it! This is a great kids movie!It is a heartwarming movie that has a good few good laughs!If kids are fans of Clifford The big Red Dog,than this is a must-have!
  
  
• The Best - we love Clifford!

  My son loves Clifford, he is 2 1/2. He loves the PBS show, he loves the videos and he is simply stunned by the movie. It has much better animation then the typical show. The characters look a little diff. but that doesn't seem to matter to him. It has a great story, helps him learn a lesson, and John Ritter is great. If your child loves Clifford he'll love this!
  
  
• Clifford's Really Bland Movie

  I took my three-year-old to see this at the cinema and I would like to make two points about that trip that reflect the quality of this film.
  1, We were the only two people in the entire auditorium
  2, He fell asleep half way through the film
  He loves the TV show and I often sit with him to watch as it is an entertaining and informative show with no edge.
  The lack of edge however, is one of the major downfalls of the movie. With very little conflict, the film struggles to keep pace over its (extremely short) running time. The educational factor of the show ("Read Books Kids!") is completely missing and the few jokes that appeared were pretty predictable. This may entertain an undeserning three-year-old but not mine and there is absolutely nothing there for adults. With the advent of the likes of Toy Story, I thought that this kind of bland rubbish had ceased to be made.
  The plot has potential but the bland script and even blander characters scupper any chances of interest. The voice cast are generally poor (the show's cast seem to have been replaced and John Goodman is wasted) and the only character who shows any potential at all - a ferret - is an obvious rip-off of The Lion King's Timon. The animation is, if anything, of a lower standard than the show in places and the general feel is "why on earth has this been given a cinema release?" Many of these flaws may be diminished on TV but with high quality Direct to Retail animations coming out of Warners (Scooby-Doo especially), how did this stand out as being better?
  The word is BLAND.

  I like this movie. But do you know who I was intrested in the most? Madison! She's Jetta's look-a-like! I REALLY liked her 2nd appearance:

  MADISON: Daddy!
  MADISON'S DAD: Madison? Have you made your decision?
  MADISON: No, they're all lame!
  
  You know, they should've named her Jenny. Or maybe Jenna.
  
  
• A teriffic kids movie

  Clifford's really big movie is a really great movie. The characters in it are funny, sweet and smart, not smart-alecky. This is movie that your entire family can watch (and mine does from 18 months to 5 years old). The animation is pleasing and vibrant, and it has nice songs in it. There have been times when I've had to put this movie in twice a day for my five year old, and I've found myself watching the entire thing both times when I really didn't have to. Five stars for family friendliness.

  CLIFFORD IS GREAT! THIS MOVIE IS A MUST SEE FOR TODDLERS. THEY WILL ENJOY SEEING ANIMALS COMMUNICATE WITH EACHOTHER. I HAVE WATCHED IT SEVERAL TIMES ALONG WITH MY DAUGHTER. EVERYTIME IS LIKE THE FIRST.

  My 2-1/2 year old LOVES Clifford and adores this movie. He would watch it non-stop if he could. The story and characters are just right for his age and he's seen it so many times he can say the dialog along with the characters and sings along with the songs. An excellent choice for your Clifford lover.
  
  
• Just as great as the TV episodes

  The great thing about this "movie version" is that all the original voices of Clifford (John Ritter), Emily Elizabeth, Cleo, and T-Bone are exactly the same as the Clifford episodes on TV. Basically, it is a longer version of a regular Clifford episode but they've added a few new friends and some songs here and there. Speaking of, the songs are actually upbeat and a bit catchy. But NOT so catchy to where I find the tunes stuck in my head for hours........unlike some other kid movies (i.e. - Thomas the Tank Engine) where they play the same droning chorus over and over and over again. This movie is a great compromise because my 2 and a 1/2 year old son LOVES it, and after watching it with him numerous times now, I still like it too.

  My kids have watched this many, many times.
  Has "catchy" songs for the kids to sing along with.

  My son loves Clifford the Big Red Dog and enjoys the PBS cartoons. We watched the Really Big Movie on a family trip. My 2-year-old burst out crying when Clifford was kidnapped and in danger of being hurt by multitudes of lassoing cowboys. This might be a better movie for an older child.

  I love this movie.It is good for all ages.I am 9 years old and I love this movie.In this story,their is a group called"Larry's Amazing Animals".The animals that are in the group are 2 dogs,a cow,and a ferret.This movie inspired me to have a circus called"The Circus Kids".The part that gave this movie only 4 stars,was when Clifford left his home.Of course he goes back to Birdwell Island.If you you do not like the part where he leaves home,skip it.

  This a great movie for all ages.I am 9 years old and I love this movie.In this movie,their is a group called"Larry's Amazing Animals".In it,their are 2 dogs,a cow,and a ferret."Larry's Amazing Animals" is like a circus.This movie inspired me to have a circus of my own called"The Circus kids".We will be performing in April or May.What gave this movie only 4 stars is when Clifford leaves home.Of couse he comes back,but that part is sad.

• Worthy buying...

  This is a great movie if your children love Clifford. I recommend buying this one for your collection, especially since it was John's last movie.
