  I haven't had to use this item much since purchasing it a few months ago, but so far it has worked well. It charges my Sansa e280 as quickly as connecting the player to a computer USB port. I particularly liked that this came with the proper cable to connect the power supply to the player so I don't have to worry about losing the cable that came with the Sansa if I accidentally leave this somewhere.
  
  What's puzzling about this product as well as many other accessories for the Sansa e200 line is that supplies seem to be extremely limited. I ended up buying the only remaining black Vizor in a local store because Amazon initially had it as a "preorder" for a long time and then had it listed at a ridiculously high price once they claimed to have it. This power supply was offered at a good price when it first came out, but now it seems like it's only available from Marketplace sellers at a significantly higher price. I don't know whether this lack of availability and erratic pricing is within Amazon's control, but it is a little frustrating that Amazon is carrying so few of the available accessories for the Sansa e200 series line of players when they have each of the players in that line available for sale at a significant discount.

  The Macally charger worked fine the first couple of times I used it.
  
  Most recently--when I plugged it in--I got a message on my Sansa e280's screen, something about the battery being incapable of being charged.
  
  I don't have any problems charging my Sansa with SanDisk or Griffin brand AC chargers, nor with my SanDisk base station. No error messages; all of these work fine.
  
  Would no longer dare plugging in the Macally charger...if it "thinks" my battery is defective (when these other products don't complain), I don't trust what effect it might have on the player.
  
  I've had the same issue (others have mentioned) with the cable falling out. Not that it matters, for a charger I'll never again be using.

  I purchased this USB AC charger for my Sansa e250. It came with a USB cable to connect to the Sansa MP3 player. There is a LCD light on the charger and it lights up when plugged into an outlet. Charging time is quick. You can also listen to the MP3 player while charging - a big plus compared to charging with a PC.

  I got this to charge my Sansa MP3 player. Soon after purchasing it, I took it on a trip abroad and it worked great for charging the player in both 110 volt and 220 volt outlets. It's portable, sturdy and so far has performed perfectly.

  Perfect companion to my E280 8Gbyte Sandisk Sansa. Connecting to the USB on my HP laptop is not only a pain at times, it's not always convenient. Because I use the E280 both at home and on my sailboat while rolling over the waves of Lake Michigan, I need charging that's close by without having to turn on my laptop. It also works with my Xantex 400W portable power pack so I can charge while I'm "moored" in some cozy little cove enjoying the summer breezes and listening to either my downloaded tunes or directly to my favorite FM station. It's too bad Sandisk doesn't offer one as an option when you buy their product, however.

  Not everyone has an Ipod and wants to pay double for simple accessories such as a USB charger that can charge my Sansa MP3 without connecting to a computer. This neet little unit has an extra dedicated cable which I didn't need but now I have a spare. The charger has fold in AC plug so it is pretty small and works as advertised and also works with the c versions as well as e versions and probably any that plug into a USB port.

  The first time I used the charger it seemed to work fine. The second time I used it it didn't seem to be charging, the plug wouldn't stay in the socket. Upon closer inspection it appears that the plug is loose and just jiggles around in the unit. I sent it back for a replacement, thank you Amazon.
  Otherwise it is a nice compact size and that fact that the plug folds in is nice.

  The charger works ok I guess, it charges the MP3 player pretty fast.
  Well, this one has a USB connector that is a bit loose. When I plug the USB cord into this charger, it just slides out very easily. It should be a firm fit, like all other USB connections I've ever used.
  Maybe I got a bad unit. I have to gently leave it alone while charging and not touch it, otherwise the cord will slip out.

  This is a simple, inexpensive device to recharge the battery on the Sansa series 200 MP3 players. It includes a USB cable (apparently identical to the one that comes with the players). The Sansa players can be recharged from the cable using a computer's USB port, but the Macally device simply plugs into an A/C wall socket. I took it to Europe and used a simple 230 V adaptor for European A/C sockets and it recharged the MP3 player within a couple of hours. Its operating light turns green when the player's battery is fully recharged.

  This is a great charger. I bought it to take with me when I travel so that I can keep my Sandisk MP3 player charged. It does the job beautifully. It is light and easy to throw in a bag for travel. I highly recommend it.

  It was not easy to find this. however, it works fine. It plugs in the outlet without a long cord. I like that.
  I did not know that I had to have a charger for my sansa. I wish that the retailer had this when I purchased sansa. It is costly afterall with S & H.

  I don't know really what there all is to an AC charger, it works. Haven't used it a whole lot, but it is nice to have especially if you don't want to leave it by the computer, or are traveling for hotel rooms. Works as it should have so far and seems durable to keep working like this for a long time.

  The charger is pretty good.. Allows you to play music even when it is charging. Also the usb cable with the charger can be used as an extra transfer cable if your original one was lost. Overall a good buy.

  The USB cable doesn't fit well into the charger's port. I have to jiggle it and push it in VERY forcefully. Otherwise, seems to charge fine.

  Knowing I wouldn't have access to a PC during a recent trip, I loaded up my Sansa e280 with 25+ hours of music, but I needed someway to charge the player without a PC. I saw the Macally SN-A411 USB AC Charger for SanDisk Sansa MP3 Players on Amazon, and it was perfect for my needs. It's compact, I just hooked my Sansa up to the charger (using the cord that comes with it) and plugged it into a wall outlet and it charged my player quickly.
  
  Works just as well as chargers priced much higher.

  This charger works fine with my 80GB iPod. After checking the specs on this one and the other one by MacAlly which they sell specifically for the iPod, I'm convinced they're exactly the same. This charger is also ~$12 cheaper than Apple's charger.
