    (4 reviews)
Best Price: $59.98
The Geomag Panels 84-Piece Set adds a highly innovative element to the original Geomag concept. This new addition builds fantastic creations on its own, or as a supplement to your existing Geomag collection. The Geomag panels offer incredible stability; the panels consist of highly-colored and brilliantly transparent geometrical forms which can be slotted between the bars and spheres to multiply the possibilities of play. The greater versatility achieved with the panels becomes apparent as the same figure and even larger forms can be made using a smaller number of bars and spheres. Includes 21 magnetic rods, 18 chrome spheres, Panels: 6 pentagon, 11 diamonds, 11 squares and 17 triangles. Rods and Panels avialble in combination colors of lemon, dusty pink, lilac and pale lavender. Toy contains small balls and small parts - not for children under 3 years. 84 pieces.

Love the colors! By A2YHL98VXFIGR9 on 2007-01-14
I'm so happy that Geomag now makes a set for girls. My daughter was already enjoying playing with her brothers, but loves her set because of the colors. If you've never had Geomags, they are great...I haven't found a kid yet that doesn't enjoying playing with them...great for all ages.
Excelent buy! By ASPYPOG5QASRU on 2007-12-28
I bought this set along with another smaller basic pastelle set for my 7 1/2 year old daughter. Last Christmas I had bought her a starter set of magnetic building toy at the dollar store just to make sure she would actually play with this type of a toy. She seemed to really enjoy them (and so did her parents!) but it was soon apparent that there were not enough peices for all of to use without fighting over them (ok, well, mostly me trying to build something and her "stealing" the peices I was using). So for her birthday I got her a Magnetix set. The quality was much better than the dollar store version and our enjoyment of the toy grew.
I stumbled across the Geomag brand while looking for Magnetix sets for her. I read up on it and everything I read said how much better this brand was.
I looked for a set to get her in this brand and found the pastelle colored set. I knew the colors would be a big hit for my girl and I was right. My husband and I at once were amazed at how much better the quality of the Geomag was over the Magnetix. Everything I has read was correct. Geomag is the BEST! Our future buys of magnetic building toys for her will be from the Geomag brand. They build sturder structures, helping to eleminate the fustration of putting time into a model only to have it fall apart, are mover versitle as the bars will stick to the middle of each other, and come with nifty panels that extend creative play. They work very will the other brands and we made lots of models using mixed peices. (a very serious builder may notice small differences in sizr that might affect large models, but for us it was a non-issue)
Over all I say that if you are trying to deceide between Geomag or Magnetix, get the Geomag! They are better all around.
construction fun By AKBEKORV5VUQA on 2007-12-26
In these video game times, having something very educational that will attract your children's attention from said games, is something to be had around the house, for dozens! In durability, I rate it 3 stars, because I THINK the transparent plastic shapes definitely will get broken if stepped on. I tried bending them in my fingers, and I felt that with that consistency (just looking like the cases video games come in, but thinner), they could be broken with no big effort. We have not stepped on any yet. Another thing: we have some remains of another construction toy looking like this one, and my daughter decided once to wash all it's pieces... The little balls got rusted with time after this, so my advise is: don't get them wet!!

My kids are 4,5 and 7 and love to play with these magnets. They are the same sizes of magnetix so they can be used together. I have bought additional sets to play together with as this one box does not contain enough to really build with.
