• Not the fastest option for digital camaras

  If you are buying a memory card for a digital camera, the xD Card type H is a much faster option. Faster to write to the card after taking a picture and faster to download onto your computer. I just bought the Olympus sp-550uz along with the xD card type M that was recommended in the "people who bought that also bought this" section of the description. Big mistake. The 1GB H xD is 3 times as fast.

  This XD card is an original Olympus product that really is a 2 gigabyte card, and not some counterfeit. I think it's very dependable and fairly fast; with a write time of 3 seconds with an 8 megapixel camera at the highest-quality setting. In my Olympus C8080-WZ 8 megapixel camera, this card will hold 520 photographs at the super-high-quality picture setting. It comes with a free card container that can hold six XD cards. I highly recommend this card.

  Amazon had the best price by far that I could find on a 2 Gb Xd card, so I couldn't resist. I'm using it in my sp-550uz camera. You must use an Olympus card in this camera in order to use certain premium functions. Nice card...nice price. Thanks, Amazon!

  This card holds around 650 photos along with some videos on my 7.1 MP cam under the Super High Quality Mode which is very good. The write speed and read speed are fine.

  Needing a memory card for my Olympus camera, I figured who better to buy from than Olympus themselves. I figured right. The card works as advertised.

  I have a Fuji camera and bought an xd card type M. But it turns out that type M and type H cards are not compatible with all card readers (even ones that work with regular xd cards) so I have to use my cable and camera batteries to upload photos from my new card, or purchase a new card reader. Ugh!

  I purchased this card for my Olympus Camedia C-60 camera only to find out when the card arrived that it doesn't work with my camera. This was my camera's fault, not the card's fault (my camera only works with a particular type of 512MB card). The good news is that Amazon took the card back, no problem.

  I made the mistake of buying this for my Olympus D565 zoom which was a hand me down. Too late I figured out that that it is not compatible with that camera. Not the fault of the seller, but good info to know.

  The xD card is somewhat less available than other media formats, and prices can vary widely. This item (2GB) is an excellent size for most photographers and will allow a full trip of photos in super high quality without exhausting the capacity or having to download. The xD seems to cycle more quickly than either CF or SD. The price was excellent.

  Great price Amazon. This card holds lots of pictures even though the size is so small. And Amazona had a great price from a variety of dealers. This card can also take panorama pictures. It is worth every penny I spent.

  Works the way it is supposed to work - no complaints what so ever. Only thing is the package said it have a code for various enhancements to the Olympus Master Software. There was no code in the package so had to call Olympus Customer Service which gave me one no problems but was time that I didn't need to spend.

  I PURCHASED THIS CARD AT THE SAME TIME I PURCHASED THE OLYMPUS SP570UZ CAMERA. IT IS EVERYTHING I EXPECTED IT TO BE. ACCORDING TO THE CAMERA, IT WILL HOLD APPROXIMATELY 799 PICTURES. THIS IS EQUIVALENT TO ABOUT 22 ROLLS OF 35MM FILM. WITH TWO OF THESE CARDS, A PERSON COULD TAKE AN EXTENDED TRIP TO EUROPE AND STILL HAVE PLEANTY OF PICTURE TAKING CAPACITY. THERE IS VERY LITTLE LAG BETWEEN PICTURES WHICH IS ANOTHER PLUS AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED. GOOD CARD.

  These cards are so small but work wonderfully. You can carry allot of them in your camera bag and not have any space or weight issues. Although I have not had a problem, be careful not to touch the gold contacts on the edge of the card as the oil from your fingers could potentially cause poor performance. I'd like to see a larger capacity, 4GB or more. You can fill up a 2GB card pretty quickly at a function if you shoot in RAW resolution.

  This is a must for someone that takes small movies and a lot of pictures before removing them to a computer. Love it and it seems to move files faster for some reason that the 1 gig chips. Probably will purchase another one for on the road trips when I don't have the time to connect the chip to my laptop or don't have my laptop with me.

  I bought this for my camera. It is great, I take pictures at 3MP (mega pixels), who needs more unless you are printing poster size pictures. But it holds way too many pictures at 3MP. If you are not a professional photographer or are not printing poster size prints and want to save a little bit of money, get at 1GB card.
