Best Price: Too low to display
home accessory kit for the SIRIUS Sportster 4, Starmate 4, and Stratus plug-and-play radios * desktop cradle * audio cable (minijack-to-RCA) * home power adapter * antenna * The Sirius SUP-H1 universal plug 'n' play home kit comes with everything you need to play your Sportster 3, Sportster 4, Starmate 3, Starmate 4, and Stratus satellite radio receiver through your home stereo speakers. The kit is designed around a handy mounting cradle, which holds your receiver in a single easy-to-access location. Just slide your Sirius receiver into the cradle and rest it on a tabletop, desk, bookshelf, or entertainment center. Once the receiver is mounted, users have two listening options: they can rely on the receiver's built-in FM transmitter, or they can run the included RCA audio cable between the cradle's audio output and the stereo. The latter option delivers a better overall sound, but is slightly more cumbersome. The bundled antenna, meanwhile, is fully weatherproof, so you can install it indoors or outdoors depending on where the satellite signal is strongest. Finally, the kit comes with an AC adapter that powers your Sirius receiver and a spacer for the docking station (required for the non- Sportster models). In sum, the kit delivers access to more than 130 streams of original Sirius programming beamed coast to coast, including 65 streams of commercial-free, digital-quality music, along with multiple news, talk, sports, entertainment, and children's stations. The entire kit is backed by a one-year warranty. What's in the Box Home dock, indoor/outdoor antenna with 21-foot cord, AC adapter with 6-foot cord, 6- foot stereo audio cable (RCA to minijack), docking station spacer, user's manual.

The base and cords are fine. The home antenna is horrible at getting reception. I had to pull the car antenna and use that instead to get anything over 4 out of ten bars on the radio. With the car antenna in the same spots I received all ten bars of reception.

Works like a charm By A2W7ZNYNSPS619 on 2007-10-26
I bought this after signing up for Amazon Prime. Received it in two days at no extra charge. Hooked it up to my Onkyo receiver and ran the antenna cable outside...I had to drill a hole through the wall to get the cable outside, behind my components. I put two screws onto the outside edge of the overhang of the roof and mounted the antenna. Came inside, hooked up all the wires to the dock and plugged in my Sportster 4.
I got the full 3 bars of signal strength and am enjoying my Sirius Satelite Radio as I'm typing this review. I am trully happy with this purchase and it's about $10 cheaper than Circuit City or Best Buy.
So long as you mount the antenna as the directions state, I don't think anyone should have a problem with the reception. The instructions included show what direction the antenna should be pointing depending on what part of the country you live...also...the optimum position for the antenna is pointing straight up.
- Sirius Home Kit
     By A1A6YESACLTHUC on 2008-01-07
The home kit for the Sirius Stratus 4 radio reciever works as advetised. I mounted it on the antenna on the deck of my condo. It picks up the satellite signal without static even with the location not perfect for our area.
- Music To Our Ears!
     By AOEYLQXMGXO7E on 2008-01-13
The recent purchase of a Sirius Sportster system was a great addition to our 2003 car. I liked it so much we bought the Plug "n" Play Home Kit to listen to the satellite radio at home. Directions were simple enough, we just placed the antenna in the window sill to get perfect reception. I did have to buy a $5.00 stereo cord to use instead of the included RCA audio cable just because my Bose Radio only had a "audio in" slot. I'm pleased with the reception and especially the variety of channels I receive from Sirius. Knowing the product is backed with a one year warranty is just icing on the cake for us! Great product and the price at Amazon was cheaper than local brick and mortar stores!
- Great Item!
     By A204KFEVIYAY0I on 2008-02-18
Great item!!! - I was looking for a car install kit for my Sirius radio when I ran across this item. I got more excited when I saw that it was about $19 LESS on Amazon than in a big box store that everyone loves to hate. So, while I added my car kit to my cart I threw this item in as well. Now I can listen to the Sirius radio in the house in full surround sound! Thanks Amazon!!!
- Killed my new Sirius Radio
     By A1LHMSY3Q46PJS on 2008-04-17
I bought a new Starmate 3 with the Vehicle kit, and loved the radio so decided to buy the Home kit for obvious reasons. The first time we used the home kit it was only producing sound in one speaker. So I bought a high end stereo Y adaptor to replace the one that came in the kit. The second time we used it, the mount still only produced sound to one speaker. So I wiggled the wire a little to see if I could get it to play stereo. But it would only switch from one to the other and then the power shut off on the radio. So I turned everything off, and turned the radio back on. I still was not getting stereo, and the radio was blinking on and off, so I tried playing with the power cord. Well guess what, it quit working all together. This radio that worked perfectly in our cars was now dead, and now I'm out the radio and the price for this load, and have paid Sirius for the subscription and don't know what I'm going to do about it yet.
Maybe I just got unlucky, but I would wait for awhile to see if others have problems with this unit before I would buy one.
- You May Need It or Maybe Not.

Once the decision was made to buy Satelite radio for the car; my wife said she wanted something for the home. With this kit, we used everything once except for the docking station (I think it works with the Sportster models).
Unfortunately, my wife rarely removes the Sirius from the car to the house and secondly, I can listen to Sirius from the computer & blare it out loud when I'm cleaning up.
So, again, you may need it or not.
