Cool toy! By AWLK6NSSV0YNA on 2007-03-29
When our baby was first born it was fun to take pictures of him next to this inchworm because he was shorter than it. Now, at 5 months, he is longer than the inchworm and loves to roll over and "wrestle" with it. He is currently entertained by the various textures and fabrics on the inchworm, and I anticipate this being a toy that grows with him as he learns to make the music play, press the squeeky part, and learn his colors, numbers, and the measurement system! A very cool learning & development toy!
A little boring By A1WS73LUNLY5OE on 2007-07-25
The lamaze toys are mostly the same so save bucks and don't buy too many. Crinkles, squeaks galore. It's not as long as my son and he's 6 months. He does like chewing on it but he likes chewing on almost anything. As another reviewer stated, it's a bit difficult to get the song to play. Still a fun tummy time toy though.
Not so musical Inchworm. By ANN0DH8NR1XYT on 2007-12-29
It's a cute toy though it shouldn't be advertised as a "Musical Inchworm" because the music is not very impressive. The music is similar to that of low-quality greeting card. It's very quiet and tinny, and only turns on when the nose is pressed. The various segments of the inchworm has different senses inside, only one of them actually plays music.
A great toy By A3N9XJQKR3F2RQ on 2007-01-31
My son LOVES this toy, although I think the version we have is an older version as it is a different color. He is 10.5 months old and gets really excited when he sees this toy. A good buy and will keep them busy.
inch worm By A2S2XS55XIYD87 on 2007-07-03
my son likes to chew the little legs, but is not all that into cuddling it. It seems to be great for propping them up under the arms while on their belly. he likes the crinkly noise. Does not play music, wish that it did. Only has very brief music when push the head.
- Good entertainment for Baby
     By A14AZWOLGK6MD3 on 2007-12-14
This is a really cute and well made item. Bright, colourful and makes noise. The tune is short enough that it isn't totally irritating. The measurement side is irrevelant for us as our son was longer than the inchworm at 8 weeks (Hes going to be very tall!) It is a shame that it doesn't have a long clip or hook so that it can be clipped to a pushchair(Stroller) and not fall on to the floor. Good value for money.
- My son loves this toy
     By A1I3TUPMAS4ZG5 on 2007-06-27
My son just loves this inchworm. It has all sorts of different sounds and textures for him. It has ties for him to suck on. He smiles when I turn the music on. He even hugs it. This is a great toy and is easy to take places. Its a great quiet toy.
- So cool
     By A2W0TP82JVBJEF on 2007-09-12
This inchworm is bright, fun, and my daughter loves it. It makes all sorts of different sounds, and the "head" plays music, which cracks her up. You can also measure your little one with the underside...my baby is bigger than the inchworm now, but it was fun to see her growth with this toy. Lamaze toys are the best.
- Almost Perfect
     By A13GP6J6GU2MZU on 2008-04-28
My 3 month old loves this toy. He chews on the little legs and loves the different sounds each piece makes but I just wish that the song that plays when you squeeze the head played longer. I find myself constantly stopping tasks to squeeze the head for him. Overall he truly enjoys the toy.
- First toy my son could manipulate...
     By A2KIMWLAKPQBT5 on 2008-06-26
This toy was the first toy that my son could try to manipulate, when he was about 2 months old, we'd lay it diagonally across his body, and he could make crinkle noises by moving. As he has grown, so has the way he plays with the inchworm- the legs were the right size for him to practice grasping, and the colors and textures are still interesting enough for him at eight months. Now that he's a (relatively) big guy, he grabs the inchworm and wrestles with it on the floor. I agree with other reviews that the "musical" part is a bit of a misnomer- yes, it plays a song if you squeeze the inchworm's head, but you have to squeeze so hard that the baby wouldn't be able to do it. Overall, one of the best toys we received as a gift.
- Not one of my son's favorites
     By A3EREZUA8JWPJC on 2008-08-11
He never gets into playing with this, I think because it is not so easy to grab and lift. He prefers the Lamaze puppy, which has more grabbable parts and is smaller so he can lift it to his mouth. Lamaze Pupsqueak
- Lots of fun!
     By A8SC63T704Z6G on 2008-06-05
My 2 1/2 month old loves this toy! It's the first one that has managed to entertain her for more than a just few minutes. We definitely recommend :)
- Cute like all Lamaze toys
     By AMZRY5WD5EAUW on 2008-06-10
My son has this except it has different colors as those shown here..but it's just as cute, he likes to take it by the tail and drag it across the room and chew on it, I think the sections of the worm that he likes the most are the ones that make crinkle noises. I gave it 4 stars because even though he's 14 months now he still can't get the music to play when he presses the head since you need more force. we have other Lamaze toys like the owl and the moose and those seem to grab his attention more than this one.
- favorite toy
     By A1PJA9DEFO4RNR on 2008-06-24
This is so far the favorite toy of my 3 month old son. When he sees it he gets all excited. He can't do much more than to kick and cooo yet but he does it a lot when the inchworm is in his view. I expect the toy to grow with him. Only draw back is the music is very very low you have to be really quiet to hear it. I got this toy because it is orange and we realized that our baby loved orange things and we didn't make a mistake. He really loves it....
- Thought it would have more sounds
     By AJM8VQ8W5X47G on 2008-06-28
I bought this toy for my daughter who hasn't arrived yet so I don't know what her opinion of it will be. I was a bit disappointed because I thought each section of the worm would have a different sound and/or texture. The textures are all the same and two of the sections crinkle when you squeeze them and two of the sections rattle...that's it! I was hoping that there would be a squeek and something scratchy, etc. but we will see! Other than that though it is very well constructed and the colours and very nice and bold.
- Decent but not great
     By A2UMKQ8FXQ3OEG on 2008-09-10
This is probably the worst of the Lamaze Toys that I have purchased (granted that I think Lamaze Toys are better than just about any other baby toys). The worm is difficult for my son to grab onto and it doesn't really do that much. The single musical thing is rather quiet. Like the other poster, my son prefers Pupsqueak to this toy. He also likes his Buzz Bug much more than this toy. Inchworm isn't awful and has kept his attention but we've gotten a lot more mileage out of the other Lamaze toys. I'd got with Pupsqueak or Buzz instead.
- Long lasting
     By A12AI7ZFB12J0G on 2008-09-24
This is great, our first born, loved it and now our second baby also enjoys playing with it. It has lasted for over 3 years and it still works great, even the battery still plays.
- Completely boring
     By A36N62I47U9IIH on 2008-09-24
My 15 month old daughter has absolutely no interest in this toy. We bought this for her when she was around 6 months old or so and she has never played with it. It doesn't do anything. I think there is one spot that will play a little bit of music when you squeeze it, but that's about it. Save your money.
- My daughter loves it!
     By A1SXCWI4UGSHS4 on 2008-10-13
She is 6 months old. She loves the inchworm. It was a great gift and I would probably buy it for someone else. My daughter has a lot of the smaller toys that she grabs and puts in her mouth. This one is a lot bigger than most of the toys she has and gives her more to do besides putting it in her mouth. She likes the different noises it makes (crinkle and it rattles and the music) and she likes trying to lug it, she likes to reach out and touch it during tummy time. I'm very happy with it.
- Another great toy from Lamaze
     By A2C9HCSVX7RSBF on 2008-10-28
My four month old son loves this worm. He hugs it while on his play mat. Each section makes a different noise. I only wish the music played longer!
