  • Plenty of space but lacking in key areas

    By A4AJEM576CYBZ on 2006-12-10
This case for the Nintendo Wii has plenty of space but completely fails in key areas. I would have given this case 1 star, but I gave a star for the fact there is plenty of space for accessories.

    Pros:
Plenty of room to store the Wii, accessories and 23 Games.
You could play the Wii straight from the case without removing it due to opening on the bottom of the case(*see cons)

    Cons:
All your accessories are clumped together in a giant comparment, so you have a giant mess. It would be nice if they had individual sections for the accessories so they aren't banging around on each other.
The platform where the Wii sits on has no support in the middle, and there is some bend in the platform once you put the Wii in the case. I can see this completly bending. They need something in the middle of the platform, which would then also help for organization of your components.
Zipping and Unzipping the bag is a pain.
Playing from the case is kinda pointless because all you save is the fact that you don't have to remove the wii. Since all your accessories are clumped together, you have to remove everything else anyways.

  • The best there is, but still room for improvement

    By A2CIJA0QH5XHTV on 2006-12-01
I have G-Paks for my PS2, Gamecube and Xbox, and as such, wouldn't even consider purchasing another carry case for my Wii. Naki has really made sure that these cases hold and protect your console, games and accessories while still making it easy and convenient to play, and the Wii G-Pak is no different in that regard.

The Wii sits on a raised shelf in the main compartment of the case and is held in place by a fancy-looking leather strap. This holds the Wii securely while allowing access to the front where you load games, the back where you plug in the cables, the top where you plug in Gamecube controllers and memory cards, and has openings for the ventilation fans. Like all G-Paks, you can play games right out of the case without removing the console. There is a cavernous compartment for all your controllers, the AC Adapter, cables and a couple mesh elastic pockets for smaller accessories. It can hold lots of games, and I especially like how the DVD sleeve can actually be removed and folded over to look like a car visor cd sleeve.

While there's room for everything imaginable, most of your accessories just sit loose in the huge pocket below the Wii. I would have preferred if there were specialized pockets for the remotes, as any button presses while the console isn't on would still use up the batteries. Also, there are no specific pockets for Gamecube games, discs or controllers, or even a place to put SD cards for use with the Wii.

Taking all this into account, though, this is still the best way to travel with your Wii, and is an easy recommendation to make.

  • Best bag/pack I out for the Wii

    By A22I2SYB0Q7NS3 on 2007-06-17
I did a couple weeks worth of research to find a bag that could expand when I bought additional games and controllers. Best Buy and other places (including Amazon) have the Wii sling bag made by Nintendo. Although it is a slick looking bag, its incredibly small and seemingly impractical for anyone who wants to bring more than 1-2 controllers and the console itself.

Not only was the size an initial issue, but the price was about the same or a little more expensive than the G-Pak in most cases.

Upon receiving the G-Pak I could immediately see I got more than I expected for my money. Its a tough well made pack with enough room for over two dozen games, the system, controllers and additional small items.

The way the top opens up with the console secure inside makes it easy for traveling. If you want to bring 3-4 controllers with you it will be a tiny bit tight (with nunchucks and all,) but as long as your not too sensitive about controllers touching during the time it takes you to get to where your going.

My suggestions are to always make sure you remove the batteries for the controllers before traveling with them.

This bag has actually given me a reason to take it with me to family members homes and on trips where we stayed at hotels with friends. Its definitly worth the money for anyone wanting to get the proper mileage out of their Wii console.

  • Pretty good, maybe some room for improvement

    By A3ECKYHMXNIVZ3 on 2007-06-25
While there is room for improvement on this Wii case, it's definitely the best one out there right now.

It's big, meaning it will hold the Wii, two sensor bars (I have a wireless one and a wired on), two nunchucks, two Wii remotes, many many games, the power cord, the cables and probably a few other things.

It doesn't do a bad job of holding them either. The case, when closed, is nice and solid and things don't seem to bounce around in there when I move it.

However, and this seems to be a problem with all the cases I've seen, there's nothing stopping the Wii remote buttons from hitting things and turning the remote on, thus draining the battery. So that'a a minus, but not a real minus, because no one has figured out how to do it right.

Aside from that, I read that you can play the Wii console from the box, without taking it out. I couldn't care less about that feature, but it will work if you want, as the top unzips all the way around the case, pretty much.

Also, since I'm new to Wii, I still keep the games in the original boxes, of which about four or so will fit into the case with the Wii. Once I decide to put them into the disc slots that come with the case, it holds over 20 I think.

    PROS
    - it holds everything
    - it's as compact as possible
    - it has a handle and a shoulder strap
    - it's well-designed
    - it holds the Wii console securely. I don't think it would move if I dropped the case, which is important for someone like me.
    - it's inexpensive

    CONS
    - the inner compartments are kinda big, so things move around in there, like the Wii remotes.
    - it's a little bit heavy, but I think it needs to be to be able to hold so much stuff well.

Aside from that, I do strongly recommend this Wii case. It's the best one out there.

Oh, and as a note. If you choose to buy any Wii case, and you use a wireless sensor bar, make sure it will fit in the sensor bar compartment, if your case has one. My wireless sensor is bigger than the wired one and would not fit in the sensor pocket on the original Wii bag that I got, which was the blue one made by Nintendo (the messenger bag). That bag is too small and a total mess. Don't even bother with it.

  • Wii G-Pak Case

    By A34NRYQS5DI2FW on 2007-04-21
I wasn't really impressed when i saw the pictures of this case. By the time I received it, i realized that this is exactly what i needed.

The case is divided into two sections. The first is for the Wii and the games but also fits the adapter and the video cables.
The second section can fit all the accessories that you might have.
The Quality is top notch, It's highly recommended for anyone who travels with his Wii Console often.

  • Now Supported!
    By A2JC8U0RIZYBHY on 2008-04-11
The main reason for this review is to let consumers know that the case that I received does have a removable support in the middle. Others had said that was one thing that this case needed, and apparently the manufacturer listened! The downside to this is that there is a little less room in the bottom, but even with it I was able to fit 4 Wiimotes, 4 nunchucks, 2 classic controllers, and 2 game cube controllers in just the bottom. If you opt to take out the support (it is attached with velcro), you could probably fit in a couple of more controller (it is not terribly organized but it fits). If you have it stuffed full you probably don't need the support anyway.
Also, if you are curious about the dimensions, they are approximately 12x14x6.

edit: On further examination/usage I am not 100% sure that what I initially thought was a meant to be used as a support is to be used for that purpose. But it certainly can be, and that is how I am going to use it!

  • Great game pack
    By A265PLY3SXKDJO on 2007-01-04
I like this pack for the room it gives. I have additional controllers and they all fit unlike the Nintendo game pack. I wish it did have additional mesh pockets for controllers and such. Instead I put the controllers into a Ziplock bag so they won't crash into each other.

  • Very nice case for the Wii - Highly recommended!
    By A37U5V32O8GV5Q on 2007-05-12
I love this case because it makes it so easy to transport the wii from here to there. It has flaps cut and velcro'd in all the right places so that you can leave the wii in the case while you're using it, which makes packing the system back up all the faster. It even has a little pouch in the upper flap/lid that fits the remote sensor so that you can leave that in the bag too (I don't know if that's what it was made for, but it works well for that purpose).

  • Good case for those on the go.
    By A254ATSK5IFPMW on 2007-06-28
When the Wii first came out, I was in desperate need of a case, and bought this one as soon as I saw it in the store. I was the only person in my group of friends that had a Wii, and the holiday season was approaching. I was taking my wii EVERYWHERE! Packing up the System, the Adaptors, sensor bar, 4 Wiimotes, and a few nunchucks every few days without this product was a pain. It was nice to finally have something i could just zip up and carry.

Once the case is loaded up, it is packed tight. It was kind of tricky to get a full set up controllers in there. The shelf that the Wii sits on is just thick cardboard wrapped in black felt, so after a few days it started to warp. That wasn't too bad- but in addition to the cardboard warping, the controllers I stored under the shelf were the only thing really holding it up- which cause the controllers in storage to constantly turn on. This wasn't really annoying, but it burned out the batteries a lot faster than they wound have.

In the end, it was a good case- but i wish the shelf had been more sturdy. If you need a carrying case for the Wii, i think this is probably the best one on the market.

  • Great little case
    By A2VTGXADJ74J3D on 2007-03-26
So I read the other reviews, and was a little concerned about the possible sagging of the platform. Well... just put a couple of game cases in the bottom section, and all is good.

  • Best Carrying Case for Wii
    By A1Z5P86RHQOPUQ on 2008-05-28
The G-pack carrying case for the Wii turned out to be way nicer than I had anticipated. I was skeptical when I ordered it but it turned out to be great. This is what I can fit in the bag:

4 wands with rubber safety covers
    2 nunchucks
    1 classic controller
Wii + all cables & sensor bar
12 foot composite video & audio cable
    battery charger for rechargable batteries

I've brought the Wii to friends' houses, and even to school for my students to play. You can fit plenty of games along with their brochures. The case is relatively small to fit all that stuff. What I like the best of this case, is that you don't have to unpack *everything to get it all set up since the bottom opens up and you can attach the cables without unpacking. I can set up/pack up the Wii in a matter of a couple minutes. It's got enough airflow when open that I never had it overheat.

So if you're a serious travel gamer and want to carry more than just a couple accessories, this is the bag for you. The only thing they need work on next is a sweet carrying case for the guitar and Wii Fit and I'd buy that too!!

  • Wii Organizer
    By A31M6LGLAILITL on 2007-03-28
It fits all my controllers for the Wii & the gamecube along with the Wii itself. I give it an A+ rating for functionality & ease of use. Being able to play the Wii from the case is an added bonus too.

  • Wii g-pak organizer
    By A1GS9ZK31JQ3H5 on 2007-05-07
This is a good size case for the traveling Wii. The only problem, as I've seen in other reviews is that there are no compartments for controllers and nunchucks and the sensor bar. A simple solution to this is to put each of these items in their own heavy duty ziploc bag. It reduces everything being scrambled and jostled around, and is an easy solution. My son goes on playdates frequently and this bag has helped.

  • Great case with a lot of space.
    By A3TT7S3LPDUYNX on 2007-09-26
This case feels sturdy. There is enough space to fit my Wii with Power Supply and cables, the sensor, 4 Remotes and 4 Nunchucks plus a couple games. I am happy with that case and can definately recommend it for people who carry their Wii's around.

  • Great case, loose cd holder
    By A1DNL6MQ5V3773 on 2008-04-30
My fiancee and I bought this case about a year ago for our Wii - it's awesome to have, since we're always lugging it around to friends' houses...

As I said, it's great except for two things:
1.) Don't play your Wii out of it for long periods of time (just leaving it in there when you're home) we noticed it gets pretty hot even just sitting in there idle if it's in there long enough.

2.) The part that holds the cd's is really loose... loose enough to make our games fall out sometimes when the case is opened. I haven't seen anyone else complain about this, so maybe it's just ours - but something to consider as well.

Even those two aside, I still really do like this case. You can tell they designed it very well specifically for the Wii (some cases are "general" holders). Naki FTW! =)

  • Nintendo Wii G-Pak Console Organizer Case
    By A2DJIAHNNYMAIY on 2007-01-20
Nice product. Was also delivered quickly. My only suggestion for improvement is to add some compartments in the case for organizing all the accessories.

  • PROTECCION Y COMODIDAD...

CON ESTE BOLSO PARA EL NINTENDO WII, ESTA REALMENTE SEGURO Y APRUEBA DE SALPICADURAS, MUY COMPACTO Y COMODO DE CARGAR

  • Excellent product
    By A2TL5M0BFR6K0N on 2007-10-11
Tough exterior, and plenty of space inside for 2 controllers, plus their nunchucks (remeber to remove the batteries from the controllers while in trasit, because they will switch themselves on) and all the cables. Have travelled around the the coutry with this case and it is still holding up...I'd highly recommend it.

  • This is The Best !
    By A2EYZJBTX8X9XU on 2008-03-28
Look no more guys, this is the only travel kit bag you'll need for your Wii. I was able to put in this pak the Wii console plus all wire connectors, 2 wiimotes and nunchucks ( don't forget to remove the batteries ) sensor bar, 1 complete set of Nerf sport attachments , Zapper and 6 games in the flap sleeve without overstuffing the bag and not damaging the games in the sleeve.I could have put the 2 race wheels attachments but then the games would have to be put in a seperate carry case to avoid cracking or damageing the games in the sleeve. What more could you ask for? I highly recommend this product for its quality and style.

  • Perfect Case For The Wii!!!
    By A1F9WUB8TUHOJQ on 2008-04-07
I have three games, two Wiimotes, a Nunchuk, and a classic controller. The case holds all of this (including the cases for the games) and I would probably be able to fit another classic controller, Nunchuk, Wiimote, and another game with case. It plays well out of the case and is easy to pack up and go with. If I have one complaint about the case, it's the fact that if you use the CD case for the games, they tend to slide out if the case is moved. And even this is not a big deal. I love this case and it was the best available by far. And it wasn't even the most expensive one out there!

  • Great organizer
    By A2KSKI9SL62BLE on 2007-05-12
The best part about the G-pak is that it is so organized. I used to carry my Wii around in a bag but it moved around and I was afraid it would break. The G-pak makes it secure and safe for travel. I love it.

  • Great Case. No Complaints
    By A25TT7030D3BMI on 2007-05-15
Very nice case. I love all the slots it has to organize with.

  • Best out there so far
    By A1CH7K4FX4AJU on 2008-01-16
WE SHOPPED AROUND AND THIS IS THE ONE WE FOUND THAT WOULD ACTUALLY FIT EVERYTHING YOU WOULD NEED TO KEEP IN IT. THE ONE DOWNFALL OF IT IS THE AREA TO KEEP YOUR GAMES. IF YOU EVER DO UNVELCRO IT THEN YOUR GAMES ARE LIKELY TO FALL OUT ON THE FLOOR BECAUSE THE SLOTS ARE FACING OPPOSITE WAYS EITHER WAY YOU TIP IT SOME ARE GOING TO FALL. WE NOW JUST KEEP OUR WII IN IT AND YOU CAN TURN IT ON WITH IT SHUT EVEN IF YOU ONLY TAKE YOUR WII ELSEWARE ONCE IN A WHILE THIS CASE IS WORTH IT. EASY ACCESS FROM THE BACK AND SIDE. DURABLE. ACTUALLY FITS ALL THE THINGS YOU NEED LIKE ALL 4 CONTROLLERS, NUNCHUCKS AND THE SPORTS EXTENSIONS. GREAT BUY FOR US. NOT IF YOUR LOOKING TO STORE ALL YOUR GAMES IN IT AS WELL.

  • Excelente maletin
    By A6FLHBPFSGJTU on 2008-04-04
El Wii entra prefecto y muy seguro, el sensor IR tiene su propio lugar espacio adecuado para controles y cargador + variedad suficientes de juegos que podras llevar a todas partes con este maletin. Ademas el material es de muy buena calidad

  • Great organizer!
    By AE55VKHN5WYNL on 2008-06-30
My brother-in-law has the wii and the g-pak organizer and bought us a wii as well; he suggested the organizer because everything has it's own compartment and makes it easier for mobility from one location to the next. We love that everything can be packed away and not left out in our living room.

  • Wii G-pak Console organizer case
    By A2YDJZI5EBLTTU on 2008-07-12
Loved it although it didn't hold alot of what I needed it for but it's worth it if your traveling and not taking all of your games.Thank you

  • Great bag
    By A13VIO5FJABHET on 2008-07-21
Very nice quality, easy to play right out of the bag. Only issue is that I'd like it slightly larger, but that's only if you want to fit in 4 wheels. I can easily fit 4 wii-motes and numchucks, but can really only fit in 2 wheels with everything else.

  • Needs Support
    By A3EHTUZ0S74AO1 on 2007-02-26
This case is excelent for gamers on the go. The only problem I experienced with it is that the system is not close enough to the side of the case. This is a problem for two reasons the came cube port are hard to access and the system sinks in without some accesoriesin the middle to support it. Other wise it is a great case I would definetly recomend it for the price.

  • great shpping, product in perfect condition
    By A10WLF6MLYFH2S on 2007-03-24
this seller is great!!! fast shipping and the product was in brand new condition. if i was to buy another game accessory, i would buy it from this seller again.

  • it holds everythign i need it to
    By A2P2SQJTG2N02I on 2007-05-08
only downfall is theres no way of keeping the controllers from bumping into each other and wasting batteries. maybe if i was a seamsress...
