  If you like your coffee strong this is the K-Cup for you! I've tried the 'bold' coffees from various manufacturers here on Amazon and this is the one that wins hands down. It's strong, it has a kick but the flavor is still smooth and subtle.

  OK, here's the thing, I love my Keurig coffee maker. Finding a good deal on K-Cups is another issue alltogether. Coffee People's Black Tiger Bold is a good value and a great cup of coffee for those who like a strong, rich, dark roast. Thanks, Amazon. Now, if you would please get rid of shipping charges on coffee orders of $50 or more, I'd order more often. Anyway, get this coffee. You'll love it.

  I've had worse, but it's not as strong as some of other bold k-cups, and isn't particularly complex. Not bad at the medium mug setting (maybe 3 stars here), but not worth drinking at the larger (1 star). Disappointing compared to Green Mountain's Dark Magic (which I'd give a 4-4.5) or Paul Neuman's Special Blend K-Cups (a 5, without a doubt. Unfortunately it is only sporadically available through Amazon).

  Didn't like it... I like strong coffee... but this tastes smokey. Just didn't like it.... Don't mind the Green Mountain Bold Magic... but this... just can't choke it down. Sorry.

  Not bad, but we like Timothy's Midnight Magic and Green Mtn Dark Magic better! Please read my review under Timothy's Midnight Magic for in-depth comparison. Overall, not a bad cup, bitter smell, not as bold as the others listed above. In fact, I prefer the Diedrichs French Roast over it as well.

  A lot of people seem to really love the Black Tiger based on the reviews, I have them sitting on the counter, but once my friends try the Midnight Magic from Timothy's, they never try anything else. Just my limited experience. :)

  Tiger Dark Roast is one of my favorite k-cups because it is bold yet smooth. If you like a dark and rich cup of coffee, this one is a winner.

  Good strong coffee. The problem is with the kcups themselves. In my keurig these are the only cups I've ever had a problem with. After making my second cup of the morning there were coffee grinds in my coffee cup. Happened a couple of times. No other brand has done that...might have been a bad batch in my box. Nevertheless 3 stars for you.

  I generally like bold-flavored coffee, but this was too strong for me. However, my son-in-law absolutely loves it, so if you are looking for really strong flavorful coffee, you should try this.

  I do like dark roasted coffee -- but there's a thin line between dark roast and burnt to a crisp. Maybe it was just the box I got, because so many people seem to like it -- but I tried several times -- and never got past the carbon ash taste.

  I received a 25-count box of Bold Black Tiger Dark Roast that had 3 packets with unsealed tops. In fairness, I don't know if this was the result of poor quality control in production or damage during shipping. My order included a box of Gloria Jeans K-cups which did not have opened tops so I suspect that the tops on the Coffee Peoples cups were not glued properly.
  
  One day after voicing my concern, I received a replacement. What great service - I'd give them 5 stars now!
  
  
• Black Tiger is the best

  I've had the Keurig machine for almost 2 years now and have tried a lot of the flavors and Black Tiger is still the best out of all of them. I like my coffee strong and flavorful and tried others with "extra bold" in their title and they are not as strong as Black Tiger. It is the one I re-order more than anything else and I thought it's about time I give credit where credit is due.

• Dark but not as full as I like

  This is a bold coffee which I bought based on another review. It's OK, but I didn't find it to be as "deep" or satisfying as some of the other k-cups such as GM Sumatran Reserve or Timothy's Extra Bold Rainforest Espresso. Tastes differ so if you like a strong, dark coffee, try it - it may be just the one for you.

  I drink my coffee black and prefer the bolder, stronger k-cups. I don't like the french roasts or the other dark roasts, but I do like my coffee strong. After having tried many different extra bolds, Coffee People's Black Tiger and Gloria Jean's Black Gold have become my favorites. I alternate between the two of them and sprinkle in Green Mountain's Sumatran Reserve now and then which is also very good.

  Good if you like a strong, bold cup of coffee. My husband does, and he brews a medium size and a small size from the same K-Cup (with our Keurig B60,) into his travel mug and he's good to go. For me, it's way too bold. I've since ordered him the Timothy's Columbian and he likes it even better - a bit smoother and more mellow taste, but not weak. My preferences lean toward flavored blends.

  I have had a K-cup machine at work for a year or two; and one at home for over a month; I am an addict for strong coffee/ we have a club at work (not k-cup related) and we get PEETS' coffee/ its really bold and rich.
  
  I have had most every extra-bold roast for the K-cup machine. In my opinion, the Black tiger is a great tangy bold coffee with enough earthiness too but nicely powerful and flavorful. A great combination. A double dose of this in the travel mug and its heaven. If you are like me and like dark coffee that actually still has flavor... You will really love this one.

  I like my coffee bold and flavorful and really enjoyed all the Coffee People's bold blends that came with my Keurig coffeemaker. Black Tiger and Wake Up Call are both huge winners. My husband loves it as well. This will always be in my coffee rotation.

• yick-- too bitter!

  I originally tried the variety pack that came with my Keurig and it had the Bold Organic from coffee people which was excellent-- I went online to buy some and saw all the great reviews for Black Tiger which steered me to buy it instead of the Organic. Boy, what mistake-- it was VERY bitter and I was stuck with two boxes of it! If you like your coffee with a bite then go for it. This is bitter even at the mug setting. If you like your coffee smooth avoid this like the plague! After two months of trying to use this up, I'm finally finished with it. I was the only one in my family that would go near it-- it was like swallowing a bitter pill every day. Never again! I thought I should warn those out there from being swayed by bitter-coffee lovers.

  I have been using a Keurig for a few months now and have tried lots of different K-Cups. The Coffee People Bold Black Tiger Dark Roast Coffee is my favorite! It has a wonderful aroma and a deep, rich flavor and color. I definitely need a little push in the morning and this does the trick, just the smell of it in my cup helps to get my day off to a great start!
