  Exactly what I wanted. Very black, to the ankle. I am tall, so finding leggings long enough is usually a challenge.
  Also appreciate that these are just the right thickness so I don't feel overexposed during my workout sessions.
  Comfort level is excellent as well.
  Highly recommend these leggings. Love American Apparel!

  If you are familiar with AA products then you know what to expect from these leggings. They feel like thin t-shirt material, which was what I wanted; something thicker than tights but not too hot for spring/summer. I am of medium height, and it was a tiny bit long but nothing noticable. The order/shipping went fine, this dealer sent the real AA stuff so I am satisfied with this purchase overall.

  I read excellent reviews on the product, so I decided these were the ones to get. However, when a couple weeks passed after I placed my order for 3 pairs and I still hadn't received anything, I grew a little frustrated. I also received an automatic email stating that one of the colors I had ordered was canceled and no explanation why.
  
  I emailed the company and asked when to expect the rest of my order. They assured me that it would arrive soon. Two more weeks and no product. I fired off an email, tactfully stating how I wanted the situation rectified. I had worked retail, customer service, and tech support and was quite used to going the extra mile for customers when the unexpected happened. This was the response I received which seemed to drip with attitude. The woman did not offer assistance for items that were apparently lost in the mail, and my check card was not credited for the product which I never received.
  
  I will not be doing business with American Apparel again.

  first off, i own a pair of mauve leggings that i bought straight from american apparel, and they were the most comfortable things i have ever owned! i got several gift cards to amazon for christmas. not knowing really what they had, i looked up american apparel and found my beloved leggings, so i ordered creme and mint. to whomever said that they would not do business with american apparel in the future, i would like to offer the news that this item isn't shipped from american apparel- it's from HIVETEES who works with amazon to bring us discounted aa stuff!!
  
  by the way, the leggings in creme and mint that i ordered have not even shipped yet; i ordered them about a week ago, but i am not reviewing HIVETEES- it is the quality of the leggings about which i am jubilant.

  These leggings are great for yoga. Comfortable and functional. Great for lounging around the house during the winter months. Fantastic feel. Even a little sexy.
  
  
• good quality but misleading color

  These are great tights. They are thick enough to be worn alone as pants, but still work under dresses and skirts. One problem I have is that they are a much lighter color than I had expected. I ordered these thinking they would be very dark-almost black, but when they arrived they turned out to be a medium grayish blue. They're still great though.

  I ordered a medium 10 days ago, and got them this morning. I took them straight home and tried them on...and they were absolutely perfect! I'm only 5'3" but the came to the ankle without bunching and didn't go too high, they sat just under my belly button. They're comfortable, and don't leave lines underneath other clothing. I love 'em!
  
  
• They bleach easily

  Very comfortable and nice leggings. But the very first time I wore them was when we went to an amusement park. There I went into some water rides, thinking they'll dry soon enough as they are thin and it was hot, and they got bleached by the chlorine in the water. Also, the bleaching is very uneven so now I can only wear them under other clothes. Maybe I should have known better, or maybe there should have been some warning about it, because I have worn other leggings in water rides, and this had never happened before.
