• Sizing is misleading - beware!

  I found these shoes by searching the women's option for running shoes. The name may say Unisex, but there is no indication that the sizing is 100% male. Not even a note stating that a woman should subtract 2 or 3 or 10 sizes from her normal shoe size.
  
  When the shoes arrived here, they were huge. I tried to return them, but Amazon considers this to be MY fault, and planned to charge back any shipping, promotions and coupons against a possible refund. I had done very well using a coupon, a sale, a "buy $80 worth of shoes and get $20 off instantly" promotion and Amazon prime, so my "refund" would be less than nothing.
  
  That's right -- if I return the shoes, I owe money. Because Amazon made no mention that shoes found in the women's section of the site might be men's shoes instead. Yeah, that seems fair.

  I bought this pair of shoes not for soccer but for everyday use. It's quite comfortable and stylish. Pretty good for its price.
  
  

• Security a Problem...

  The product was the best. We have always been happy with the Samba product - long lasting and wears well. But the company did not remove the security device attached to the shoe. The device was a very large one that even area stores could not remove. After many attempts, using various items to try to remove it, brute force had to be applied and yes they really do put blue ink in them to deter theft. The sneakers did indeed get the ink on them and so did the surrounding area!!! So much for 'new' shoes!!

  Very comfortable shoes and they fit the purpose. Shoe laces are too short so order an extra pair of these.. These are classic sneakers that beat any of the the new ones out today.

  The white/royal blue sambas are really good looking and very comfortable. I dont play soccer and I wear these shoes because of the comfort and the style they have. Very good shoe choice! I would reccomend these for anyone!
  
  
• Cheap, thin, awkward

  It is a cheap soccer shoe with little support. the tongue extends about 1" past the last lacing hole and digs into your ankle, one inch is also not enough for it to be bent back over the laces so it is sufficiently awkward and was enough for me to return the shoe. unfortunately no free returns so i'll be shopping elsewhere for my indoor soccer shoes. typically i wear a size 13, however these were about a size too large on me so i'd wear a 12 in this shoe. i have a pair of asics running sheos, lotto cleats and new balance cross trainers that are all 13.

  These shoes are great! Super comfortable and feel as if they were tailor-made for my feet. Classic black-and-white goes with anything. You can even wear then with a navy blazer and jeans. Try them out, you will love them.
  
  
• Bad Customer service

  The shoes arrived with a security theft tag on them that said if we tried to break it is would leak ink all over the shoes.
  After many attempts to contact Bealls unsuccessfully,they finally responded about two weeks later...too late.
  
  We spend a half an hour but carefully removed the tag. Shoes are great, Beall's is awful.
  
  Not ordering anything from Beall's ever again.
  
  
• Christmas gift

  The problem I have with this purchase does not involve the product, but rather the company that I purchased them from. I had these shoes sent to my son as a gift. Unfortunately, they were shipped with the ink-filled security button still in place, so he was unable to wear them, and since they were an online order item, it has been an extreme inconvenience to make a return. The company sent another pair of shoe with the instructions that they would also send a pre-paid mailing label, so my son could return the original pair. When I spoke to my son last week, he had not yet received the return label. I am waiting now to see if my credit card has been billed twice for this item. I am very unhappy with this purchase.

• Great sneaker for cycling!

  I have to say these arent the most comfortable to walk in and they are kind of flat but these do make awsome cycling shoes if you are an avid cycler and dont like straping on a pair of cleats and prefere riding with traditional flat pedals these sneakers are great. Nice, lite and flat.

  These are the same flats I wore playing indoor soccer when I was 10 years old... they were good then, and perfectly functional now. They do seem to be running 0.5 to 1 full size small.

  I bought these sneakers as a gift for my relative in Scotland. He owned a pair of Sambas a long time ago, and were his favorite sneakers, and has been unable to locate a new pair in Scotland.

  I've always had a pair of Sambas since I was started playing soccer when I was 5. They are comfortable and great for indoor sports as well as just casual wear. These were a great deal, and were received promptly.

  I've had every color of Adidas Sambas except the blue and the white. I was reluctant to purchase the white because they're bright, large-looking, and get dirty too easily. But now that I've purchased these, I'm so impressed! These white Sambas are unique and stylish, definitely suitable for casual or athletic activities.

  The Adidas Samba has been a great shoe for as long as I can remember. This is easily my fourth pair over the years because these things wear like iron and last forever. My last pair were falling apart after several seasons of indoor soccer and general usage. The only way I could bring myself to throw them away was to buy a new pair. I recommend this shoe to anyone who is looking for grip on turf or a comfortable shoe for any sports activity.

  I got these shoes to play indoor soccer, and considering the budget I was on these were my only real option. I know a fair bit about soccer shoes and how they should feel, and for $40 these shoes are great performers. They are also one of the few soccer shoes that you can wear outside without being embarrassed; one can even say they are stylish. *gasp*
  
  Anyways, these shoes get you an incredible bang for the buck, and you can take those 5 stars to the bank on that.

  Dude, this is the classic shoe. Well, not THE classic shoe, but it's versatile and it looks good with jeans. It's a good alternative to a pair of Pumas, it's good in the rain. I guess you can play indoor soccer with it. But, it's just a good all-around shoe and it being cheap is irrelevant.

  Well, this is the exception.
  
  I saw these Samba's online and was a bit skeptical... but I know my shoe size in adidas because I have other pairs so I thought 'what the heck' and bought em'.
  
  When they arrived I was more then pleased, they fit perfectly and look great.

  I bought these shoes for 35 dollars and shipping. Great deal as far as I'm concerned. The tongue is really long on the shoe for some reason. I'm not sure if that's some new "hip trend" that passed by unbeknownst to me or what, but it can be annoying, especially because it squeaks a little at first. But hey I hate shoe shopping and like I said, for 35 dollars it was a simple solid purchase.

  Very good ball control for an indoor soccer shoe. Looks attractive and easy to clean as well. The brown Sambas (retro) look better, but are not as wearable as this pair.

  These are true classics. I remember not liking them when they first came out decades ago, but I can't remember why. Anyway, the shoes are really comfortable and fit true to size. This is a VERY subjective thing to comment about - fit. If the proverbial shoe fits, wear it. And for me these fit. Cheers.
