This sucker will protect those UMDs

Definitely a good case. It's hard and sturdy. It's got two sliding buttons on the front to open each side of the case. Each side holds 4 UMDs. The slots on the inside hold the UMDs very securely so your UMDs dont go flying around. And even though there is a tight grip to hold the game, this doesnt hinder it from letting the games come out with ease. I've had DVD cases hold onto a dvd so hard that I would actually start talking to the case and saying "If you make me break this DVD, I'm going to go burn you in a fire pit!"
The only thing that might make you want to shy away from this case is that it's as big as your PSP. This doesnt bother me at all, but to some it might.

Oh and dont let Amazons pic fool you... only one slot holds only one game. Not two. Some people might think that due to Amazons pic.
This is a Great PSP UMD Holder

This is by far the best UMD holder for the PSP. It holds 8 Games or 8 Movies, i highly recommend it.
Worked great for me, but a little warning about this item

This case has worked perfect for me since I got it months ago and love the sleek love of it (it matches the look of the Playgear pocket PSP cases).
The case is very sturdy and easy to use - it has 2 latches on the side to open the top part or bottom part (each holds 4 UMDs (2 on top, 2 in the center, 2 in the center (reverse side) and 2 on the bottom)). The cases use the tabs similar to the PSP game cases to hold the discs in place and use either 3 or 4 small hooks (depending on the side you use) around the edges to prevent the disc from falling out of place.
Unfortunately, these small hooks have caused trouble for others - I've spoken to others who own this case that say these hooks will actually rip the UMD in half (separating the clear protector on the bottom of the disc from the white top layer). This is fixable with glue but very unsettling. I haven't experienced this in the ~3-4 months I've owned the product so there may have just been a bad pressing of the cases, but it's definitely something to be aware of!
I'd highly recommend this if you don't mind the extra bulk of the case.
very nice solid case

the quality of this case is very high - not surprising considering it comes from Sony. The chrome trim is real metal. It's basically the same footprint as the psp itself and a little thicker. It might be a bit bulkier than desired, but it's such a solid case - so a great value since it's not much more expensive than the 3rd-party ones.
Great Product for the Price

I had the PSP PlayGear Street, which holds 3 UMDs along with the console, but I needed something specifically for storing games. I wanted something more compact than the original UMD cases for archival purposes and also something small and transport ready.
This product is great for both purposes. It's rugged design makes it great for travel and it compactly holds 8 UMDs.
Shop around for the best price first but feel confident that this item will fit your needs.
- UMD case from a soldier's point of view

It doesn't really matter if I am a soldier or not, this is by far the best UMD case that I have seen yet. Seeing as how hundreds of others around here rely on a PSP to get through day to day life in Iraq, I've seen quite a few.
This case is built to last. It is hard plastic, there is absolutely no flex to it. I would not worry about crushing it by throwing it into the bottom of an assault pack. The hinges are coated in black plastic, but held together with small metal screws. (Just like the screws used in the frames of glasses) Also it stays firmly shut, and is painless to open and close unlike so many other cases out there from 3rd party vendors. Clips inside the case hold the UMD snugly and securely. Don't plan on one flying out when you open the case.
Be advised, the picture is a little misleading as the UMDs do not stack on top of each other. This case is actually double sided and when opened from either side allows you to plainly see every UMD in there without having to remove the top one to see what's under it like the picture might suggest. I will get some user submitted photos up first chance to better demonstrate this.
The size is great. It may be a tiny bit bigger than someone might expect but I prefer a little size/weight for quality of protection. A UMD already has a plastic shell covering the disc. You're obviously not shopping for basic protection of your media. Basically I would compare it to the size of 1 1/2 PSP consoles stacked on top of each other or 2 PSP slims stacked on top of each other.
It looks absolutely stunning with the chrome trim going right down the middle. Very clean. The overall look of the case is very smooth and sleek. As soon as I got it I was showing it off to everyone around me that owned a PSP. They'll be ordering one tonight.
Also with it holding 8 UMDs (movies or games) it has a higher capacity than most cases out there claiming to do the same job. I would recommend these case as a system seller, but maybe that's pushing it a little bit. Great job by Sony to remember that adults like to use this stuff too!

I love this case. It's made of a durable black plastic with chrome trim, shaped like the PSP only slightly thicker. You can fit eight UMDs into this without worry of scratching or destroying them. I will advice take care in removing the discs from the case to avoid getting caught on one of the tabs. I'm buying another one for my wife to use for her games as well.

I cancelled the order for the psp because you kept delaying the delivery date and I went to WalMart and bought 3 of them right off the shelf. I was very disappointed in the pre-ordering process for this psp.

This is a great product! There's nothing lost in interpretation, it's a hard-shell case to protect 8 PSP games. I'm in Iraq, and all my stuff gets smashed quite often. This case protects the games from the worst of enemies!
- Very secure storage - Nice rugged design

This is a GREAT way to store your UMDs. I purchased this for my son's games. It is shaped similar to the acual PSP game console. It is hard plastic, and opens on either side which stores 4 games (8 total). The case is very hard therefore, the games will be safe inside. The games snap in securely with three or four "prongs" holding them in. They are a bit hard to snap in or out, but I feel like they are safely snapped in and will not fall out. I will buy another one of these as soon as my son has filled this one up. A great buy.

This is a good way to keep your PSP games in one place and also teaches my 4 and 6 year olds the responsible way to handle and take care of their game collection. Only wish it had more capacity than the 8 games.

- Sturdy case - very protective - very heavy

This is a very sturdy case that will protect up to 8 PSP games or UMDs. Appears to be very well constructed. The only drawback is that it is also quite heavy - I purchased it for use while travelling, but am thinking twice about it since it seems to weigh a couple pounds.

Now, the only problem I have with these cases is the the little black clips that hold games and movies. You have to be very careful with these things. Every time I take a game out to play it I wonder if I am going break open the plastic that contains the game. Great idea but this one minor flaw could ruin a game quickly.
$39.99 FOR A PSP GAME MAY NOT SEEM LIKE MUCH. WHEN YOU START BREAKING THE UMD CASES OPEN JUST BECAUSE OF A LITTLE PROBLEM LIKE A CLIP, PEOPLE ARE GONNA GET VERY ANGRY. AND HAVING TO REPLACE GAMES AND UMD CASES WILL ADD UP.
- Cool case

This case looks fancy, is compact enough, and holds up to 8 UMDs for my daily train commute. I don't like the shiny strip in the middle because of fingerprints, and one would need to be careful when removing the UMDs so as not to break the plastic grippers. However, for $15, it's definitely a good deal!
- Perfect Protection

This case is the best I've used for protecting my UMDs.
It holds 8 UMDs. The case is EXTREMELY sturdy. I would feel comfortable throwing this thing (literally THROWING) at a concrete wall.
It weighs just as much as a PSP when it has all of the games in it. It does NOT feel cheap at all.
The ONE thing that could be changed is the clip that holds the UMDs down. The clips are very snug, and I feel I have to use a nail to push the clip back to make sure I won't harm the UMD when removing it. It just takes an extra second, and if all you're after is a way t protect your UMDs, this is your item.

This UMD Case is very sturdy and looks really nice. You can even put your extra memory card inside (in between the UMD holders). It really helps a lot in keeping my UMDs organize.

This case is well made, good looking and will probably out live my PSP and me! I like the over all feeling of Sony quality; from the feel of the exterior, the way the UMD's snap into their slots and the precision opening of the locking mechanism. Highly recommended!

Does what is says. Stores up to 8 UMDs easily and safely. I only wish it had a place for the extra memory stick. A bit thicker than I'd like but again, stores your UMDs safely.
