  Why does this item cost so much here? Talk about overpriced - $19? Why is it not sold by amazon? I seen this car at a store for around $4.00. I think letting these types of sellers sell on this sit will be amazon's downfall.

  Over the past few weeks my husband and I have managed to find every Cars character except Chick Hicks; and we haven't paid more than $4.00 for any of them. We even have all of the other "rare" cars. We bought them at Wal-Mart, Target, and Toys-R-Us. These toys are awesom, but these sellers, and Amazon for that matter, are absolutely ridiculous. They are hoarding this toys and keeping them away from the children that they were intended for, just in hopes that some collector might pay this price for them. I wish Disney would flood the marget with these toys.

  This makes me so sad. You are trying to take advantage of little kids. All of the cars were available at our Wal Mart yesterday for $3.19 . They have been hard to find, but don't resort to these sellers.

  All the above comments are SO TRUE! I can't believe the prices on Amazon. I too have been running back and forth to Walmart, Kohls, KB Toys trying to get the whole collection. I Am also missing Chick.. But, I won't resort to these tactics. The normal selling price is $3.99 - these sellers should be ashamed!!!
  
  
• Be Patient - There Isn't A Shortage Of These Yet!!!

  Nearly every one of these individual characters, is claimed to be "hard to find". Spend some time looking, you may be surprised how much you'll save. These character cars are collected by both kids who play with them, & adults who soley collect & leave in the original packaging. It doesn't matter which type of collector it is, a 20 + dollar car is outrageous !! I got my "Chick' off E-bay and I hit the auction just right & got mine for a reasonable price. I know, it gets tiring running around looking for something, but if you hang in there - you can save...........

  The Pixar Cars characters from Mattel can be purchased from Target, Walmart or Toys R Us for around $3.50. Don't be taken in by these rip-off merchants. These are not in short supply and can be found with patience.

  This review is NOT for the toy but for the price. Try Ebay if you can't find them at the local walmart or target. OR wait until after the holidays - no kid needs a $20 plus car to play with.
  
  The toy itself is just fine - typical of any other toy car.

  Chick Hicks is one of the hardest cars to find but keep trying. My nephew wanted this car for Christmas. My sister had everyone she knew looking for this car for 3 weeks. We finally found it at Toy R Us for $3.49 a week after Christmas. We had managed to find all the other cars before this one. Don't pay this price for it. Now that Christmas is over there will be a lot more of these around.

  Keep looking! If you want it bad enough just keep checking the stores. One place I would have never thought of looking was Younkers. I went in there mid-January and they were fully stocked even with the hard to find woody and buzz, hamm, etc...They were higher than walmart, but a lot less than this.

  The item came in good condition and my son was excited to see it, but the price is really high. All the other car toys are available in Walmart for under 8 dollars and no reason why some one has to spend 25 bucks for one car. • Product Quality is Disappointing

  My son loves all of his CARS cars. We have close to 30! I guess I was lucky to find Chick Hicks early - my son's 5th birthday was the same week the DVD was released and Chick was one of the few available back then. Like other reviewers have stated, the price was around $4 at a local store.
  
  My complaint is with the QUALITY of all of the Mattel 'CARS' cars! Granted, my son is a little rough with them, but I think that would be expected for the target audience of this toy. Chick is especially beat up because of my son pretending the bash the other cars, just like Chick Hicks does in the movie. The paint chips nearly immediately on every new car we get. In addition, one of the side mirrors on the Brand New Mater (blue) broke off. I am disappointed because I expected them to be as durable as the other Mattel and Hot Wheels cars we have.
  
  For enjoyment value, I would highly recommend these cars, my kids play with them every day! Just don't expect a high quality long lasting product. (And be careful if babies are around - make sure no small parts break off the cars!)

  the only way i got this car was buying it with the mac truck. so i ended up having 2 mac trucks.. i am glad i had the store price. not this sorry

  i've found all of the cars by going to every toys r us, walmart, walgreens, kb toys i was near (NC, NY, NV) however i still have not seen chicks or the king.
