An expensive attachment, but does exactly what it sets out to do By AWYO4AEQJ0PDQ on 2007-06-30
Racing games need a wheel, and wheels need to be fixed to something steady. I missed playing racing games because the standard controllers just do not fit the bill. The good news is that the seat is allowing me to rediscover racing games.
Despite being 6ft3 200+ lbs the seat is comfortable; I can even slide my 6 year old in, and play with him steering and me on the pedals. Both the pedals and steering wheel attachments are adjustable with its max range out of the comfortable reach of my legs. If anything, they should make it work for smaller folks like my 6 year old, who cannot reach the pedals. He is 4ft, I expect you need to be at least 4ft6. The seat folds, but think twice if you want it to pack away discreetly in a tight corner; in this regard the manufacturer's photos are accurate. The only thing that I would really add are channels to enable the wires to be discreetly routed; with just 3 cables for the wheel, it still looks like a mess of spaghetti. The steering wheel attachment could be a bit stiffer, but I do not notice this when playing. They also include loads of Velcro and ties to keep things attached. Bottom line, if you like racing games, and want to treat yourself, this seat will fit the bill.
Quality Racing Seat at an Affordable Price By A1IG0BJV8D9U6Z on 2007-04-07
I got this for about a week now and I'm really enjoying this racing seat. This is by far the cheapest racing simulator seat of high quality that I've found. The others like Gameracer or Virtual Racer X are ridiculously priced.
Assembly for this took me about 25 minutes. The seat is adjustable to fit just about everyone. Another good thing is that the frame is detachable and the seat folds down for neat storage when it's not in use. The only bad thing about this is the base for the steering wheel. It can be tilted in different angles but securing it tightly so that it won't move is quite hard. I had to wrap the provided hex key with paper so it won't hurt my hand and use my body weight to push down while tightening the securing bolt to get it to not move up and down easily during use. Once it was tight, the thing is pretty fun to play with.
Awesome! By A39PEO01HZWGLV on 2007-08-25
I use this with my XBox 360 wheel for both Forza 2 and PGR3. You'll never go back to using a stupid desk or fold-up table like I did after using a chair like this.
I have hard tiled floor, no carpeting, no padding. If I pay attention during transition periods between game play, the stem is a little wobbly but when I'm deep into racing and throwing my body every which way, I don't notice the wobble. I suppose if I want super solid stem, I could have paid for a $1000+ unit from a competitor. Not me! I'd rather save it for my next "necessity" ... three-panel set-up for my Forza 2! Bottom line -- GREAT value ... unless you have alot of free time to make your own rig.
One more thing, the mounting bracket sucks if you have a Microsoft XBox 360 Wheel. That's because the metal mounting panel is too small for this wheel. If you don't have any wood panel scraps in your garage, you'll need to make a trip to the local hardware store ... cut yourself a 8" by 18" panel from half-inch thick particle wood board, drill a couple of holes for bolting onto the pre-drilled holes in the metal mounting panel and then use some plastic cable ties to strap in the wheel to your wood board in addition to using the flimsy mounting clamp on the bottom of the 360 wheel. Shouldn't take more than half an hour to do even if you're sub-par at carpentry skills ... I'm a geek software programmer and it was a breeze for me (but then, I was highly motivated to get the set up done so I could start racing ASAP Forza 2 in style).

Edit (Feb 8, 2008):
I ended up getting a Logitech G25 wheel + 6-spead shifter so that I could practice manual shifting on "GTR 2: Realism Redefined" using my new gaming PC on the same LCD TV that I use for my XBox 360. Turned out that attaching the G25 wheel to the Evo mount panel was MUCH simpler than attaching the XBox 360 wheel.
The Evo has pre-drilled holes that line up with the bottom of your G25 wheel platform and your G25 pedal platform, though you will have to offset the Evo pedal panel mount quite a bit to the left (from the perspective of a sitting position) to where it's strange looking but not impractical from a functional standpoint.
If you have a G25, look into buying the additional Playseat Evo attachment for the G25 shifter. I don't think Amazon sells it ... I ended up getting that attachment from MaxWho.com.
I never drove with manual transmission in real life so I can't tell you how legit the Playseat + G25 shifter arrangement is. But a friend of mine who track races and is into the street culture scene tried it out and said it was pretty close to reality. He ended up "testing" my set up for hours ... I had to kick him out because it was getting to be past my bed time!
Price Markup By ANSNREO7XBDVV on 2007-07-14
Kinda funny how they jacked up the price from 250 bucks a month ago when I bought it. 250 was a steal for this thing. It takes about 30 min. to assemble. I have the white one and it looks killer in my living room, interests many people that come over. Very easy to slide out of the way and fold down when not in use(not heavy at all, just slide it over on the carpet). The seat is well designed and durable. The unit is solid, easy to adjust and does not rock back and forth when you play with MS wheel. The MS wheel has such powerful force feedback that you can feel it vibrate through the seat. Use the velcro supplied with the unit and the pedals and wheel wont budge at all. Essentially, if you have a nice(big) tv and this thing, and the latest racing games, you have a Dave and Buster's arcade at your disposal at any time in your own house. Enjoy.
Not Happy By A2A9RIBSL1WO0O on 2007-08-23
I received the seat shipped via ground when I paid for 2 day shipping. Long story but Amazon did not help me out in this matter. When I received the product, many of the pieces where scratch badly. Also Screws did not fit like they where suppose to in the support brackets. I have the xbox 360 wheel which by the way does not fit on the post at all. For the amount of money I spent on this seat, it would have been better well spent on something else.
- Just Awesome
     By A1HDT0FWPUF0DN on 2008-01-14
Bought two of these seats to race my 10 year old son with his old PS2 and new XBox 360 games. Both racing wheels fit nicely and seats adjust fine for me 6'3" and my son 5'. Changing steering wheels is tedious because of the wires but the seats are incredibly great. I still can't drive a virtual car as well as my son but using a steering wheel I can at least compete. Has been great father son time indoors now that its 20 degrees outside. Buying two seats seemed expensive till my wife reminded me of the cost of the XBox originally. Solid construction and they fold and dissasemble partially for storage in a closet. they get an A+ in my book.
- Great product for the price
     By ASJR0EW9NBQOL on 2007-10-02
I did many hours of research prior to buying the playseat. After factoring the cost to build my own, this turned out to be the best choice for a few reasons.
1. It's designed to fit many different size people. I'm 6 foot 1.
2 The build quality is very nice, Its not an eyesore sitting in my house!
3. The design is well though out with extra adjustibility in places you might not think were necessary when building your own.
For those of you purchasing a Buttkicker Gamer to use with this device keep something in mind.
1. Get one....It's the perfect addition to this product.
2. The Playseat doesn't really have a good place to mount the buttkicker so you have to get creative using the cross support bars below the seat. I found that using an spare 10mm socket as a spacer for the buttkicker gave it a fantastic grip of the frame.
- A must have for driving games
     By A189VNOYNTHFTR on 2007-10-26
For almost a year, I've owned a Logitech G25 steering wheel. However, something was missing. One day, The Playseats Evolution Gaming Seat went on sale and so I decided to do more research. The more I read about it, the more I knew I needed to have it. So I placed an order though Amazon. Playseats makes a support bracket for the Logitech six speed shifter however I had to place an order through a 3rd party store since Amazon did not carry it. Once I received my order, I started putting everything together. It was as if this chair was designed for my steering wheel. I connected this to my Playstation 3 and boy what a difference it made. Especially after long hours, my previous setup felt very uncomfortable but this chair feels really good and natural. I am 5'10 and 200lbs and fit nicely in this chair. The components are made of good quality. Although the backrest can fold down, it does not make it that much more compact, especially if you plan to always leave the steering wheel attached to the chair like I do. I highly recommend this chair and of course, you can't go wrong ordering it from Amazon.
- Excellent Seat
     By A4SKMJM21QBF0 on 2007-06-24
I purchased this seat about a week ago. It was eligible for Amazon Prime so I got it within 2 days. It comes packed nicely in about a 3x3x3 foot box, weighing 53 lbs. Assembly and setup with my MS wireless wheel took about 30 minutes.
The seat is sturdy and well built. The steel used is 1/16 in throughout and it seems that the designers spent a decent amount of time designing it for stability. I am 6'3" and weigh 250 lbs, and I have no problem in the seat. It is actually quite comfortable for up to 6 hours on forza 2. So construction wise, the seat is no less than great.
I think they could have offered more options with the setup, namely two things. First, they offer the option of offseting the pedals to the left, but not to the right. I went around that by offsetting my pedals myself. They hang a little off to the side but I have no problem with that, as I would rather brake and accelerate with the same foot. Second, I was hoping that with the evolution model the steering column and the pedals can be adjusted separately. However, you could indirectly do this by moving the whole thing away from the seat, bringing the steering column forward, and then tilting it down.
Really, the idea is similar to their Classic seat, however it is obvious that this is the less "wobbly" model because the column is shorter and less prone to torsion. The cool thing is you can disassemble the seat from the pedals and wheel, and it is quite comfy to sit it and play "other" games such as Gears of War or Shadowrun.
Finally, a note for those willing to use the MS wheel with this: Don't use the clamp provided with your wheel as it does not offer enough support. Playseats have yet to come up with an MS accessory plate, but what I would recommend is to place the wheel on the steel plate using a ton of the double sided velcro tape they provide. I have not had a single problem with it.
Durability? I have been playing Codemasters' Dirt for a while now, and I have to say if the seat and setup can take a full 4 hours of nothing but raunchy abuse that the game requires, it meets my expectations.
Overall, a great seat, a good design, and well worth the money.
- fun way to play your driving games
     By A2ZUB60DUJPH60 on 2008-01-30
Easy to assemble. The required allen wrench is provided in the package. I put car wax on all the painted parts before I assembled them, since everything here is prone to rust since it's so humid. The Logitech G25 wheel bolts onto the top via the predrilled holes. Same thing for the pedals. Unfortunately, Amazon doesn't sell the separate shifter mount. Otherwise, it's ready for the G25.
The only 'con' is that the angle of the steering wheel mount isn't adjustable. The washer at the end of the bolt which secures the mount to the angled piece (the one that's where a car's steering column would be) only allows for one position with the mount being flat.
BTW, if you have kids, you have to either put a pillow behind their backs or buy the optional slider accessory from someplace else (Amazon doesn't sell that either) for them to reach the pedals. The seat, as is, can't be adjusted close enough.
- Girls like it too!
     By A5CTTQQY39Y7X on 2008-03-25
I am a 40 year old female who still loves video games, but more specifically...I love racing games, Gran Turismo being my all time favorite.
I use the Logitech Force Feedback steering wheel but had previously used it mounted to a small table while sitting in a dining room chair. That set up actually caused allot of discomfort and fatigue when I wanted to play longer. My braking foot needed to hover in a very uncomfortable position and my husband rarely played with me for that reason. Your legs just ached. Try as I may it was very difficult to mount/place everything at just the right distance and angle for any long term fun.
When the Evolution Seat went on sale for $239 thru Amazon with free shipping I couldn't resist.
Quality and comfort are both excellent and of course it makes racing even more "simulator like" than before.
The bottom of the chair (it's metal frame) is smooth and slides easily and damage free across my living room carpet, which is fairly important as it's a little too heavy to lift and move single handed. If you needed to store it you do have the option of folding the seats back down after removing the pins. You can also remove the steering and foot mounts from the center crossbar to shorten. Luckily I have just the spot for it as I do not think I would care to make such an effort.
Next is comfort...no complaints here! You can adjust the foot pedals and the steering wheel to just the right distance meaning no more foot fatigue or discomfort in my arms from overly bent elbows. The chair itself is extremely comfortable and I am 6' tall and actually eat. :)
I can easily sit for 2 hours and never feel the least bit uncomfortable. The seats comfort is equal to that of my Honda and exceeds that of my Ford.
If you really enjoy using a wheel with racing games then this is certain to enhance your enjoyment and realism. If you rarely play racing games with much enthusiasm then this will probably end up collecting dust and taking up valuable floor space, which leads me to measurements.
From the seats floor frame to the end of the pedal mounting plate is roughly 50" (this is adjustable for your height). The chairs height from floor to top (headrest) is 40" (this is stationary though the seated can fold forward). The top of the seats cushion is approximately 12" off of the ground, which places this at an ideal seating height to view my LCD TV which is placed on a TV stand. At it's widest point it is about 20".
For a little more fun I added the Buttkicker gamer to the chair. In order to mount it I made a metal X frame from 2" wide, 1/8" thick flat steel which I sandwich and bolted in between the seat and it's floor frame. In the center of that X frame I welded a 3/4" OD steel pipe with a threaded end. I of course used the pipe for the Buttkicker's mount. I also installed a metal cap to the threaded end of the pipe to keep the Buttkicker from vibrating down and off of the pipe. This is a convenient way to mount the Buttkicker and it distributes the vibrations well WITHOUT any changes or alterations to the chair or Buttkicker themselves. Now there is force feedback in both the steering wheel and the chair itself.
You get the idea I kinda like this stuff ah? :)
- Quality and fun in one package

This is my first investment with anything close to a racing seat. The Playseats Evolution Gaming Seat is quality and comfort. From the minute you open the box you will realize the true quality that went into this top notch product. Fear not people who are large or small, short or tall. This amazing seat has an unbelievable amount of adjustments that makes it easy for anyone to fit comfortably in this chair.
Assembling is rather simple as there are only a few steps involved. Each part of this gaming seat is solid and well made to last for years. Once assembled the only difficult part is adjusting it. Now if you have a G25 wheel like me you will find this gaming seat is almost made perfectly for this. Everything part of the wheel is bolted in to make it extra secure. Sitting in the gaming seat is very comfortable. The racing seat is well made and contours well to the body.
Now obviously if you have a seat like this you will need a good quality wheel and I believe for any enthusiast that would be the G25 by Logitech. It's an excellent wheel that is this gaming seat was made for. Of course you will need the gear shift holder that doesn't come with this set. Amazon doesn't offer it but it is available.
In closing this is a great seat and it will last just about anyone for several years. Enough time to enjoy some great racing games on their favorite console or PC.
- Playseats race simlulator is the best gaming experience I've had
     By A29L4EEL7H04J8 on 2007-08-23
I'm a long time gamer. I love racing games. When I saw this unit I couldn't believe it. It was like I had no idea something like this was out there. This thing is very well built. I but a buttkicker under it to make the race games vibrate and it's a very cool experience. The price is very attractive for this unit. Really they could charge double what they do for such a nice piece. If you're into racing games I wouldn't think twice about picking this up. It will be a hit with you and your friends and family. Even my wife who hates videogames like to get on.
One tip: When mountin your Microsoft wheel, get rid of the bottom lap plate on the wheel. It unscrews with a t-6 screwdriver. Then use the 4 holes on the bottom of the playseats to drill 4 holes in the plastic of the wheel and bolt that directly to it. Then you can lose all the bulks stuff of the wheel and its a direct mount. Good luck
- If you like racing sims and have a steering wheel.......this is a must have!
     By A39M6FVM4IQJST on 2007-08-23
I cannot imagine ever playing a racing sim without my playseat. Easy to assemble and very comfortable even for a big guy like me(6ft 4in, 280 lbs).
- This is Great! but theres some Flaws..
     By A1SFVR8EXFFKM8 on 2008-01-19
i ordered from amazon, and got it really fast. thank you amazon people. this playseat evolution is awesome. comfortable, easy to put away. BUT!, you see the black spin knobs? when you tighten them, they create holes, scratches, dents on the bottom pole connecter, they should've put rubber bottoms on the spin knobs or something so it won't damage the product. also they should've add something on the bottom of the metals so it won't scratch your floor. other than that, its a great product.
- Poor Quality Control
     By A13LPVFQ1UCZ1Q on 2008-06-16
As a fan of racing sims, my Playseats classic/Logitech Driving Force Pro combo has seen a lot of use. So, when I wanted to upgrade, the obvious choice was a Playseats Evolution and Logitech G25 (a popular combo here, it seems). The Evolution seems to be designed for the G25 - everything fit together beautifully, with much less wobble than the classic, and Playseats helpfully includes bolts for the wheel and pedals to eliminate wobble there as well.
However, I can't put the seat together, because someone at the factory broke off a drill bit while threading one of the holes - then decided to leave it there. I now have a nicely powder-coated fragment of drill bit that can't be removed. The seat is nothing but a pile of parts until I figure out how to get a replacement post. There's no phone number in the box, and their website lists contact info in the Netherlands.
This seems like an improvement on its predecessor in every way - but thanks to poor quality control, I wouldn't know.
- Realistic Feel and Experience
     By A39OUJETQANSTR on 2007-05-15
It's nice to be able to drive a race simulator on the XBOX 360 using the force feedback racing wheel along with this seat. It really adds the fun and makes the whole experience much more realistic than just placing the steering wheel in my lap. I am happy with this purchase.
- Race on!
     By A2D7TOGXAVRC0R on 2007-09-15
You will never want to play racing games with a hand controller again. Works great with Xbox 360 wheel. Velcro works fine if you completely cover the base with it. The foot pedal platform needs to be wider but it works. With all of the adjustability it is a bit wobbly. Here is what I did to firm things up.
1. Place a strip of the velcro (loop side) along the inner tube on the steering column to fill the gap between the steel tubes. I actually used two strips parallel to each other.
2. Place heavy duty (about 2" diameter) felt pads to the three ends of the cross member section. Only on the ends of the tubes, placing them on the whole length will lessen if not defeat the outcome. If you have carpet you may want to use thicker rubber or plastic pads.
Since I have wood floors I also put felt strips on the runners under the seat so I can slide the unit away.
With these modifications you will be very pleased with your purchase versus paying big bucks for the other brands.
- Yes Folks... It's the "REAL DEAL"
     By A1AWNXSV61XGUJ on 2007-11-30
Ok.. Just like you I read the reviews, and I wondered... Can a grown man, 6' tall and 200 pounds really fit in this? (doesn't help that they show the video with a kid not an adult).
I got mine a few days ago. When it was 299 I was thinking about it, when it went down to 209 I was all over it! Box came and it was so small I thought no way they got a full sized chair in that little box but hey, they sure did. Because the cushion folds in half, you dont need much space to pack it. It went together easy although to be honest the directions are not very good (pictures too small). I figured it out by looking at the box. It all took about 15 to 20 minutes and the needed allen wrench is in the box.
Now, I don't use it for car racing games. I'm a real life pilot. I wanted to use it for my flight simulator. I bought the control yoke and the rudder pedals here on amazon.com along with the Microsoft Flight Sim 10 program. Add in a dedicated computer and a 32" LCD and I have a totally cool real life airplane simulator.
Everything works fantastic! Yes, comfortable for an adult and it really doesn't take up too much space when its not in use.
Buy with confidence!
- Great Product
     By A2RIA9C12VSBPE on 2007-12-17
I read all the reviews here before I purchased mine. I gotta tell you I'm also a big guy 6'1" 315 Lbs. This seat works great and is sturdy. It truly adds to the effect and makes you feel like your truly racing. I also bought the G25 Logitech racing wheel which seems like it was made to work with this seat. The bolt holes lined up perfectly and the extra bolts were supplied so it is all mounted together and does not move. The only draw back is that there is no where to mount the shifter that comes with the G25 Wheel. I used a chair for now and am working on making an adapter. When all is said and done it was well worth the $$ spent.
- Awesome Racing Experience
     By A2FP1H50TW16UE on 2008-01-25
I'm using this with the Xbox 360 wireless wheel. I was a little worried at first after reading how some people had to figure out ways to bolt theirs in. But it turned out to be a non-issue. The supplied velcro straps do a great job of keeping the wheel and pedals in place. I used most of it on the wheel and a few small pieces on the pedals. I think they expect you to brake with your left foot because the pedal base is centered, but I just can't drive that way. So I set the pedals about 4 inches off of the platform and it's not a problem.
The seat is very comfortable and the whole thing is very sturdy. It slides across my carpet like it weighs 2 pounds. It's pretty cool looking too, so I'm just going to keep it in my living room permanently(with no argument from my girlfriend!) The force feedback of the wheel seems like it's doubled with this thing. Dirt was a blast to play, as was Pgr 4 and Forza 2. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
- Great seat for Xbox 360
     By A3EKR62DN6TY2W on 2007-06-07
I recently purchased the black Playseats Evolution for use with my xbox 360 and the MS Force Feedback wheel. When it arrived, I was able to unpack the box and assemble the wheel and get right into Forza 2 in less than 30 minutes. I was a bit skeptical with the frame while assembling, but it is quite sturdy and comfortable (and I am a 200+ lb man). There is very little wobble with the wheel, and the pedal mount is nicely done. This setup holds the Microsoft FF Wheel fairly well, with only minor modifications needed (I placed some of the included two-sided velcro tape on my wheel clamp and the shelf of the playseat.) The seat folds in half, and you can remove the rail from the bottom essentially splitting the whole unit into two pieces which could easily be stored in a large closet. Amazon was by far the best deal on this seat with their price ($249.99) and free shipping. I am very pleased with this product.
- Playseat EGS White/silver
     By A1U418TJ039NTT on 2007-06-29
Not sure why they ask how much fun this game was etc... But anyways this was on back order and I finally got it two weeks ago.. I must say I was shocked to see it all fit in the small box.. For the price you can't come close, not even making one yourself which I was incline to do. It's very easy to put together and is sturdy.. The one thing that I'd suggest is to use a lock washer with the rod that is fed through to tighten when adjusting the steering plate. Like last reviewer stated, it wont lock tight, it does become lose and wil move while playing, up and down motion..
Besides that Im very happy with the whole design and plan to buy more in the future.. hats off to Amazon for getting this product so cheap, because there are other racing seat that are way to much money.....

- Awesome racing setup
     By A2JP9E1H0SF392 on 2008-03-02
For car enthusiasts, this setup is a must! It is well designed, and reasonably solid. For the $240 shipped from Amazon (after discount), this represents a tremendous bargain. I wish their was a better way to mount the X360 wheel to it other than the $20 mounting plate, but that is the fault of the "designed for lap" X360 wheel. No matter, this is great, and with the $60 Buttkicker Gamer unit, racing is a blast!
- XBox 360 wheel needs an adapter
     By A1EZCH69ZHLX0J on 2008-03-21
If you plan on using this chair with the Xbox 360 Racing Wheel, in my experience the adapter plate is required. This plate is not included with the standard Playseat, so if you want to setup and play make sure to order both at the same time. Velcro and other home brew solutions did not keep the wheel steady enough for my taste. Also, it is worth noting that the adpater plate is bolted on to the platform, so quick changing from the XBox 360 wheel to another wheel (like the Logitech G25) is not possible without some tools and patience.
Another consideration users should make before purchasing is storage. The chair is large, so when it's not in use you'll have to put it somewhere. My gaming room includes a pinball machine, and when you collapse the back of the chair and slide the adjustable sections to their smallest possible position, the chair neatly slides under the pinball, making for a perfect storage solution.
- Logitech G25 & Playseats Evo a match in made in Heaven
     By ADPYOE1CITKJQ on 2008-04-16
Amazing build quality. I worried that it would be janky and wobbly but this thing is ROCK SOLID. Has predrilled mounting holes for my G25 Racing wheel, along with the pedals and shifter (with additional shifter adapter). It comes with the bolts for mounting the G25 (and I suspect other lower-end Logitech wheels), as well as plenty of velcro and zip ties. However, I didn't have to use a single piece of velcro for my setup. The zip ties... well thats one of only two complaints I have. You have to zip tie your cables along the frame, which I would have rather of had the option of running them inside the frame to totally hide them. My other complaint, with the G25 you have a clutch pedal and the bar that supports the wheel obstructs my leg a bit. It's not a big deal, and I would not let these two complaints stop you from purchasing this thing. I still give it a five-star rating simply for the build quality, rock solid design and providing EVERYTHING you need to mount your wheel setup. Except apparently for that XBox 360 Wheel, but an adapter plate is available. If you have a Logitech wheel of any kind this is a must have. I have the know-how and ability to design and build my own setup like this but it would be difficult to match the quality for the price they are selling this for. I mean this thing has some quality steel but is still light enough we can push it out of the way when we're done playing. One warning though, if you have tile or hardwood floor make sure you buy a rug or the Playseats matt to throw under it because there isn't any padding under it.
- Great quality, good value
     By A2VF38HFPQCLBP on 2007-06-24
Love it. The chair itself exceeds my expectations, offering a well-made, extremely comfortable place to rest while playing games. The frame is fully adjustable, and pretty stable once the knobs are tightened, providing a great platform for mounting your favorite racing wheel. In my opinion, other is no way to fully appreciate a racing wheel and pedals without this rig. Being a bit of a DIY guy, I though about building my own chair before purchasing one, but for the price, quality, and ease of assembly, you can't beat a Playseat!
- Playseat + Forza 2 + Buttkicker + Xbox 360 Wheel = Heaven

I've had the Playseat Evolution for about a week now, and I absolutely love it. I bought it specifically for Forza 2 but I've also been playing Dirt with it as well and its holding up fine. The seat is comfy enough for multi-hour sessions and the steering column isn't wobbly at all.
I say if you're looking at this that you should definately get the Buttkicker as well, as the level of immersion offered with both of them is nothing short of awesome.
Highly recommended, even with the $299.99 pricetag.
- Must have for the driving sim enthusiast

Anyone serious about their driving simulator, such as Forza Motorsport 2, needs this driving seat. The build quality is top notch, and it is highly adjustable. I considered building a seat myself, but for this price, it would be impossible to match the featureset and quality with a homeade setup.

This chair is great to play Forza 2 for the Xbox 360 and among other racing games the chair is confortable and adjusts to your personal size, easy to put together and i suggest that you get the microsoft wheel adapter for it to put your wheel on tight unless you dont mind velcro or some custom installation.
