On your 6 (what the hell does that mean?) By AMXE382DCAMQO on 2007-02-26
Excellent. Ubisoft improves the R6 franchise and bests the Ghost Recon franchise. I compare this game directly with GRAW, since both are Ubisoft squad-based FPS. My criticisms are extremely minor.
PROS
- Excellent visuals and varied levels and maps.
- AI: excellent enemy AI and friendly AI (they don't run out and commit suicide immediately like GRAW). The AI of both sides creates some furious firefights.
- No forced GRAB COVER!
- No thousand distracting blips all over the screen as in GRAW. Only as many as you need.
- Command options are simple and straight-forward.
- good variety of weapons, attachments and items. each weapon has it's own unique visual reload and makes it's own flavorful sound.
- lead voice actor is a hick adding good flavor.
- was never stuck to the point where I had to consult the internet.
- check the product placement posters, one is of former heavy metal show Uranium hostess Julyia.
CONS
- uses Unreal engine which is excellent except for the unrealistic deal where you can get shot an infinite # of times (like in Gears of War).
- no exact button/stick mapping.
- still can't do something as simple as jumping. Jumping is fun. More fun than just walking.
- sniper riffles seem to all have the exact same stats.
- voice acting in general still sounds weird. Ubisoft France needs to hire some actual American voice actors.
- no SAVE ANYWHERE and checkpoints are spread out wide so you will be repeating the same crap over and over and over again.
Amazing game online and offline By A37M6R7UZHP22M on 2007-02-03
Incredibly fun to play by yourself, or with others on XBOX Live.
Absolutely incredible. By AUJLOANMXO9G on 2007-02-17
Incredible realism & game play - this game is taking too much of my time though so beware. It was a little slow starting; I actually thought it sucked compared to GOW until I had a few hours into it.
Must have By AZD18Z3FWGAKY on 2007-04-20
Amazing game, a game that will have you spending hours on Xbox Live ranking up in the multiplayer (you unlock weapons and different camos and armors to customize your character) or your time going through the single player campaign (amazing for a first person shooter). A Must Have Game for the 360.
Solid game brah! By AMCGG2RQ18XS4 on 2007-11-24
Best game on xbox 360 period, to hell with Gears of War and those other over hyped titles. Best online play since Halo 2 and way better than Halo 3 and all it's shortcomings..."I'm not running from you!!!"
- RB6 next level
     By A15OCIHXTP1OOM on 2007-11-26
tom clancy has outdone himself. the rainbow team was getting a little old(no offense chavez) but this is a new team, new weapons new story trill ride and its got the most realistic capabilities EVER. crash through wendows, shoot around corners and take cover anywhere you can. this time its rainbow six, this time its vegas. what happens here, stays here.
- Better than Halo 3?
     By A20SRNPE0TH8SC on 2007-12-24
Very fun game. On the higher difficulty it has been quite a challenge, which I thoroughly enjoy. I own Halo 3 and have played it 3 times; I have played this numerous times: great single player game.

- Rainbox Six Vegas: The Hunt For Irena
     By A2GSF65S13IP2F on 2007-12-25
The game is excellent as far as military-styled, secret ops games go. The graphics are very good and the lighting is amazing. The game play gets a little redundant, but different areas, situations, and scenarios toss up the gameplay. The casino scenes are very different from the traditional foreign nation assault or in-the-bush fighting scenarios associated with many military games (i.e. Tom Clancy). Overall, a the look, gameplay, and mission structure is excellent and I would definitely recommend it.

- A must-have for FPS fans.
     By A4VRE47CYP4ZF on 2007-12-26
This game is yet another Tom Clancy masterpiece that is sure to become a classic.
Single Player is exhilarating, as you and two teammates infiltrate a terrorist-filled Las Vegas. The gameplay is based loosely on tactics (not as much as old school Tom Clancy games) and focuses on the cover system. You get to choose from a variety of weapons, from a riot shield to many types of modern shotguns. The plot is forgettable, but is still intriguing. Replay value is very high, since there is a Terrorist Hunt option where you do as the title implies, and this does not connect with the game's story.
The gameplay itself is unique in this game because it is based on the cover system, so it is very different from the usual run and gun shooting game (Halo 3). This game forces you to choose 1 or 2 well-placed shots rather than empty a magazine on never end hordes of baddies.
Multiplayer is where this game shines the most. You can play the main story of the game or do a Terrorist Hunt cooperatively with a friend. Or you can jump onto Xbox Live and play many different types of games on many different maps.
The Limited Edition of the game includes a DVD containing the making and bloopers of this game. A highly enjoyable and recommended product.

- great game, brought Rainbow Six back to form
     By A2SG5ZT4RRH3NR on 2007-12-28
I do not think I am telling anyone something they do not know when I say this is a great game, well, put together, good graphics and I got it as a great value at 19.99. It is fun and engaging and well worth playing through. While the multiplayer might not be as refined as everyone might want it is very nice.
- Best of the best
     By A3902AMJZ94EF on 2008-01-10
This game and GOW are the best games for xbox 360 period. nothing else to say.
