• Great light output, horrible flickering

  As mentioned in other reviews, the amount of light put out by this flashlight is surprisingly strong for such a small unit. However, the flickering is unbearable and shaking it or adjusting the contacts don't seem to make any meaningful difference. It's virtually unusable for me and very annoying. I want to like this very portable flashlight, but I wouldn't recommend it. I'm going to look toward more expensive, hopefully more reliable, LEDs.

  The amount of light you get out of this flashlight is amazing considering the size and 3x AAA batteries. The design seems sturdy but I doubt it's watertight. Also one of them started flickering and I had to play with the contacts inside to fix the issue. The quality of the connectors inside is a bit flimsy, but it may be just a fluke. Overall I'm happy with this. I tossed my monstrous flashlights that use 4 D batteries and use these guys now.
  
  

• Mixed Feelings, but not bad for price.

  I have mixed feelings on this light. It was smaller than I expected which was a plus for me and is a very attractive unit, plus it is pretty bright although I've seen brighter with less LEDs. I do have two complaints though. First, it's a 50/50 shot each time I unscrew the cap whether the light will work when I screw it back on. Something is wrong with the contacts. Second, I wanted something that I could hold in one hand and thumb on and off. There is a lip on the end that makes that difficult. It's easier than another cheap light I bought, but much harder than the Coast Flashlight some co-workers got at Lowes. That light is almost $50 though, so I guess you get what you pay for. I have to say it's a good light for the price, but there are better lights out there.

  The shipping was quick, the light is very bright and batteries were included. However, if you lightly shake the flashlight the light goes on and off. Overall, for the price, not bad. I just wanted to try an LED flashlight.

  Sometimes it takes six or more tries for the light to switch on. When it does come on it, all of the LEDs produce a bright, clear light
  
  
• Incredible Price

  I ordered a couple of these as emergency lights for our cars. When they arrived I compared them to other LED flashlights - some many times more expensive. This little light is very bright and the quality is really good. You cannot beat this price.

  I have used this flashlight for over a month and my observations are:
  
  1) Very powerful light. Much brighter than it's smaller 9-LED sibling.
  2) Good for taking out at night while walking the dog. Will light up the immediate area.
  3) Don't expect this light to illuminate anything more than 30 feet away.
  4) Great value for the money. Don't waste your time with the 9-LED version.
  5) Comes with batteries, but don't expect high quality brands.
  6) The structural quality is fine. I didn't experience the "flimsiness" that other people wrote about.
  7) Small and compact. Powerful for its size.
  
  Bottom line: You can't beat this flashlight for its price. Not the best light I've seen, but definitely worth the price.

  Great light but you have to hold in the pushbutton to turn on light. There is no way to keep it on without holding button in.

  This light worked very well for a few weeks. It works well now except every few minutes it goes dull, and I have to hit it against my hand a few times to bring it back to full brightness. Great price though!!! I'd recommend it.
  
  
• Very Bright, but...

  This flashlight is very bright indeed. I wish I had been able to read the warranty and see the notice about the lead content because I would not have purchased these items, especially for use by our grandkids. Instead, we will place them in our cars and keep them for emergencies.
  
  
• Bright and inexpensive

  Excellent light output. Bought one to test and ended up buying six more. i haven't experienced any flickering or signs of shoddy workmanship, but let's face it, if you want top of the line go buy a Streamlight or Surefire for 10 times more money.
  
  The flashlight is anodized aluminum, not plastic and has an O-ring on the tail cap, but i'm not sure it's waterproof as water might go in through the LED openings.

  this is the best flashlight i have had. small & compact. sturdy metal construction. looks high-tech with the design and the "fuel core". super bright; more bright than those bigger filament ones. batteries included. i bought 4 of these already and will buy more in the future. there are couple choices but i prefer the gun metal.

• Bright light

  This little flashlight suprised me. It is blindingly bright (i found this out the hard way) and can lighten an entire dark room. The one thing i would've like to seen on this light was some sort of focuser or rim on the front of the light becuase the light disperses a lot without one.
  
  
• Amazing Light Intensity!!

  Look for the 100 LED flashlight here on Amazon. Yes, it is larger and it costs more, but you won't regret it. Read my review before buying the 100 LED flashlight. But if you don't need very much light and cost is a primary consideration, this 28 LED version is marginally adequate. I've noticed problems at times with flikering light and that is because the terminals inside the light tarnish making for an intermittent situation that is rectified by rotating the battery compartment while pressing it against the LED bulb assembly. And rotate the batteries while inserted to clean the surfaces. It doesn't happen often.

  Bought this flashlight for use around the house. Its very small and brighter than a star. It comes in handy often and is well made(machined aluminum/push clicking switch). It includes batteries & wrist strap, and at around $10, its hard to beat. It looks nice and also has a nice feeling in your hand. Feels nice and sturdy, not like a flimsy plastic flashlight. Best of all, its LED and uses lots less power, lasts longer, and is much, much brighter than traditional light bulbs. Recommended Product.

  Bought two and then four more.
  
  Pros: price and quality. very bright and compact. light flickers if back screw over tightened.
  
  Cons: only one of the six had the light flickering problem. Flicker problem got better after I loosened the back screw a bit. Don't over tighten the back screw when inserting the batteries the first time. Didn't have problem with the others.

  Good, useful if you don;t have a compact flashlight. But you cannot adjust the range of the light. The reason I gave only 3 star is that I saw some cheaper price on other sites.

• Great Light

  This is actually the second time I have bought one of these lights (the first works fine but I needed another). I have had some flicker problems with the first, but none with this second. This second one works perfectly and throws out a lot of light using very little power. I am pleased and would buy yet again if I needed another. I subtract 1 star (giving 4 instead of 5) because of the flicker problems with the first, which I have had for over a year, and the pricing does seem a few dollars higher on Amazon than what I have seen elsewhere. 4 stars

  I bought this and was looking for a small, bright flashlight. I am amazed at how bright this light is. I've used it with room lights on for that extra boost, and it works great.
  
  This light is so bright, you cannot look directly at it. I bought mine from Etoolscity (through Amazon), and they were running a special -- buy 3 and get one free. I took the risk (cause I didn't know how well it would work), and it was worth it. Excellent price too for an LED flashlight.

  This is a great little light for the price. It's very bright. The construction is heavy duty and the switch appears to be solid. I've had it a couple of months and it works great around the house and on fishing trips.
