Fantastic, can't imagine being without it now By A20PK01XA5J94S on 2007-08-06
This product is wonderful. I admit when I first saw it being advertised (before my baby was born) I giggled because it looks pretty ridiculous. However I have to eat my words now, because this makes pumping bearable, I can use my laptop or read a book instead of sitting there holding the bottles in place. Before buying this I tried the Medela pumping free kit, which is laughably poor (and unreliable) in comparison. This bustier is comfortable and functional. Works with any size of Medela personalfit breastshields (unlike their own product) or nipple shields. I can't recommend it enough. If you need to pump regularly, you will want this bustier to save your sanity.
Poorly designed product By A39QE9PYN161QI on 2007-11-21
After reading all the rave reviews about this product, I bought the medium sized one based on the sizing chart and it turned out to be so tight that I couldn't zip it up all the way. So, I ordered a second one, this time a large size and it turned out to be a little loose, the holes didn't center properly around the nipple and didn't hold the nipple shield in place for my medela pump, consequently the milk leaked and I had to hold the shields by hand throughout.
There is no way to adjust the bra to make it a little loose or little tight and the nipple holes are centered such that if it doesn't center on your breast correctly, there is no way to adjust it either. When regular bras are made with several hooks so you can adjust the tightness, why couldn't the manufacturer think about incorporating it in this specialized bra? I'm very disappointed by this sub-standard product, especially for the price.
A Great Way To Pump Hands Free By A24ZC8N1GHFAZK on 2007-01-19
I have this product and use it with my Medela Pump In Style double breast pump. It works great and allows you to read, hold the phone, work on your laptop or anything else that you want to do. I am large busted so I was concerned that it would not work well for me, but I am very happy with it. I highly recommend this product.
this product is a life saver!!! By A2Y973SGTB8FL on 2007-01-31
This is the best invention ever! You can relax while double pumping. It is possible to read, answer the phone, or just close your eyes while pumping. I think I may have given up on the pumping twice a day every day at work without this! I highly recommend this product.
Save your money! By AKJLR1BHS62RD on 2007-11-23
I bought one of these just before going back to work. I'd seen it before and had improvised one for home use out of a sports bra (which works great and has the advantage of being wearable all night with nursing pads under the holes).
Although I tried this on before I bought it, it became floppy at the top about halfway through pumping, and nearly fell off before I was done. I ended up getting another sports bra with a zip-up front to use at work. I'm hoping I can unload this at the local used baby store.
That said, if it works for you, it's gotta beat holding the bottles with your hands!
- Great concept - quality lacking
     By AXGS9YVE6FNI6 on 2008-05-08
As strange as it looks this is a great concept. I am a full-time working & breastfeeding mom and have been back to work since the baby was six-weeks old. I am fortunate to have a private office and can simply close the door, put on the bustier and sit at my desk and pump. I hardly miss a beat and normally continue taking calls and working at my desk while pumping.
What is with that woman in the promo picture? I can attest to the fact that no one is smiling from ear to ear while hooked up to a breast pump!
My gripe is with the quality of the product. My baby is seven-months old now and I use the bustier three to four times per day, five days a week. It just simply wasn't built for such heavy usage. The flimsy elastic fabric has lost all of its stretch and I've had to seam it up twice. The zipper is a light-duty nylon zipper which easily (and frequently) rips apart.
I'd like to see new mothers get something a bit more substantial for the price.
- Awesome product

I have to pump at work and this is a lifesaver. It allows me to pump hands free...I recommend it to anyone that has to pump!
- makes pumping less of a chore
     By A2I38LBAZX3MJ4 on 2007-10-11
The hands free pummping bra is a necessity if you are going to pump with any regularity. Now I can check my email or read a bit while pumping. The sizing runs a bit small.
- What a great invention.
     By A152XSHQSE5ZYX on 2007-10-18
I love this bra. It works great when I am pumping at home or work. It looks very unsual but functionally it's perfect.
- Great product!
     By AVJIRQODVDO91 on 2007-10-22
A must have for anyone who pumps often. I'm able to work at the computer or read while I pump. I also get a little more milk if I'm doing something relaxing, rather than staring at the empty bottles!
- A "Must-Have" for Pumping Moms
     By A7UM2MWQHM5DL on 2007-11-26
I started pumping from the second day I was home from the hospital with my son, with a hospital-grade double pump. When I was home, it was no big deal to hold the bottles up and pump for 10 minutes once a day. When I went back to work full time - this was a necessity! I can pump hands-free several times a day with no trouble, and I can still type on the computer. For large-breasted moms out there - they *are* sized appropriately. I'm around a 38G and I purchased the size Large -and it works perfectly (I was thinking I would have to use an XL or bigger).
- No good for receiving phone calls
     By A2ZL5W6AP7DO7N on 2008-09-05
If you are a superwoman, who multi-tasks with confidence and is not easily embarrassed, the Hands-Free Nursing Bra could work for you - the shy and sensitive should, however, avoid.
Personally, I found all the finger-pointing and giggling at work hard to take. Sure, you can do other stuff whilst expressing milk but if you want to do it in public you'd better get something more discrete to wear.
It isn't even that simple to use in the privacy of your own home. If you go by the illustrations, making a phone call is one task that can be undertaken whilst simultaneously expressing. This may true but don't try to put the damn thing on when the phone starts ringing - you won't have enough time...I know from bitter, soggy experience.
- the only way to pump!
     By A2O1NYXOS7AVH4 on 2007-12-08
Pumping is truly a pain without this! It really makes pumping more bearable since you can at least use your hands! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because mine doesn't hold quite as tightly as I would like, so sometimes I have to rest the bottles on my desk or a pillow in my lap. But this is still much, much better than holding them! If you are going to pump with any regularity you really MUST have this product!
- Works just fine.
     By AS2BGET2APS2Z on 2007-12-09
It's a little awkward to put on and take off but nothing beats hands free. No more cramped wrists!
- Good. but not totally hands-free
     By A19YD91NAGM8MY on 2008-05-15
This works well for holding the bottles in place while turning on the pump and turning it up - but you still need to use your hands a bit to apply pressure to the breasts while pumping (at least this was my experience). It looks very funny, and the fit is a little off - if I were you I'd buy a slightly larger size than you think you need. According to the chart I needed a medium, but it is very, very tight...
- How could you pump without it???
     By ARQQTVPCRCHP8 on 2008-06-30
This is the best product there is for "hands free" pumping. I also tried the elastic/velcro product & it is not as comfortable or as easy to put on & use quickly as this one. I have to pump at work (& other times) & I appreciate anything that makes it easy & quick. For sizing help -- I wear a 38C & I got the large & it is perfect. It has not stretched out & I have been using it multiple times daily for over 3 months now.
- Looks ridiculous, works great!
     By A3JHHOLSMGSFH8 on 2008-08-02
After holding a pump in place with my hands for 2 children, I found new freedom with this bra. I can pump at work and multitask (in a private room, of course!), including working on the computer or calling the daycare to hear my baby coo. With this bra on, I don't end up holding the pump parts too tight up against my chest, and I seem to get a better yield of milk. When I wear it, I am reminded of how much my body has changed (and drooped) since having kids and nursing my babies. But - I wear it for function, not fashion.
- Excellent!
     By AIZE80DC81065 on 2007-12-12
This works great for me! I am pumping for my second child and I wish I had bought it for my first! Now I can pump, eat lunch, grade papers and read!! Wonderful, a must!!
- Essential for nursing moms!!
     By A2VKJTX2L855OA on 2008-01-18
it looks silly, but I can't imagine not using this. If you are a mom who pumps everyday, this is essential. If you are unsure what size to get, I think it runs a little small so go with the larger size. Great product.
- A must-have for pumping
     By A2NQ1DPRMDER57 on 2008-02-14
This is the second pumping bra I have tried and I stopped looking after I found it. It is truly "hands-free", unlike others that will slip or sag once the bottles start to fill up. Not perfect - especially if your cup size changes after pumping, but definitely a lifesaver when you're pumping 3-4 times a day.
- Great product!
     By A2PJNR9IX245EU on 2008-02-18
This works great! I'm able to pump and get other things done at the same time. Sizing is true - I got a smaller size than I needed just to make sure that it was going to be tight enough to hold in place without using my hands, but I should have just gone with the correct size. I highly recommend this for any busy mom on the go or anyone who likes to multi-task!
- Great Product!
     By A1U1YR3IXTM3TX on 2008-03-16
I have preemie twins and had to supply breast milk while they were in the NICU so I pump A LOT! This bra left me handsfree to get things done, needless to say I wrote a lot of thank you notes during my pumping times :) Definitely a necessity if you pump on a regular basis.
- I wish I'd had this with my first son!
     By A3KG99G7F7QKZW on 2008-03-16
This makes pumping so much easier...The time flies by since I can check email and do work and I find myself able to pump longer because I can ignore it for a while. Worth every penny!
- Working pretty well for me
     By A1B6QHJPBWNZCH on 2008-03-18
I have no time to sit and pump without doing anything else. This frees up my hands so that I can read, check email, bank online, even knit, while I am pumping my breast milk. Its working pretty well for me so far, but I think its going to be a bit too big soon. The sizes run a little on the big size, I'm a 40DD and I ordered an XL, its a little bit loose. If I lose five to ten more pounds I might need to get a new one. My only complaint is that the holes are a little big for my medela pump, the cups occasionally slip out and suction is lost. Its easily avoided if you make sure the cup is centered in the hole. All in all a pretty good product.
- A Must Have Product
     By A222W9OFZ65R5U on 2008-03-20
Why didn't anyone tell me about this product before? I just received it and this is such a great product. Until now, pumping was a task that was very time consuming and didn't allow me to do much else. Now, I can multi-task and spend more time pumping while my daughter is awake. I am also thrilled that it fits over my nursing bra so that I do not have to keep changing my clothing. This is a must have item for any mother who is pumping.
- seems like a great idea...
     By A1U42E2QVIPUOA on 2008-03-23
I thought this was a great product at first. Was so frustrated with having my hands occupied while pumping. But with time I realized I wasn't getting great suctioning/positioning and not getting much milk out, plugged ducts etc. Perhaps I bought too big a size? In any case, I don't use it anymore though I still love the idea of it.
- Great product! Love, love it!
     By A10V1S56W3UU5P on 2008-04-08
I'm an exclusive pumper, and this definately makes my life easier. I can play with my baby, eat supper, pay bills, etc. all the while pumping! I also find that I make more milk, maybe because I'm more relaxed and not just sitting there, staring at the bottles. Buy it!
- Must have for any mom who pumps often!
     By A1M3F8V8MW24WT on 2008-04-27
I bought this as I have had to pump many bottles a day since my son was born. This is one of the best purchases I have made! It is great as it allows me to multitask while pumping. I have even fed my son a bottle while pumping! I highly recommend this for any mom who has to pump at least once/day.
- Didn't work w/ my Pump but great idea!
     By A3657XXFSM3HCI on 2008-05-04
I was searching for a way to pump at work and be able to use both hands to occupy the time. I was fully aware that the product works with most pumps when I purchased. Unfortunately it didn't work with mine because my pump's motor connects the top of the horns and pulls the the bra away from my body. I am definitely keeping this for future children as I will be getting a pump that will with this bra.
- A multi-tasking mom must have
     By A3KPYH281JG1IL on 2008-05-12
After reading several reviews and talking to a few of my girlfriends, I was a bit discouraged about using a hands free pumping/nursing bra. It seemed like most people really didn't like them and found them to be cumbersome and ineffective. Tired as I was about making excuses not to pump because of how annoying holding the breast shields in place was, I decided to give this bra a shot.
I am so glad that I purchased this particular type of bra. It really has made pumping a lot easier than it used to be. I can't do as much as I would like to do but changing the channel on the TV, reading a book, putting on make-up, eating breakfast, having a cup of coffee, and other small tasks like these are easy to do with this bustier.
It is easy to use and as long as you don't have any clothing underneath (i.e. if you left your regular nursing bra on and placed this bustier over it) the shields stay in place with no loss of suction. I recommend buying a snug fit as this will help keep the shields in place.
