Excellent cable for the price By ADHR5QDBFP91Q on 2007-12-16
I ordered this not expecting much more than an inexpensive 1.3-compliant HDMI cable. What showed up and I installed is what appears to be the exact same cable as a $60 Monster premium cable I had already connecting another piece of equipment. I have since ordered two more. The cable, connectors - everything about this cable are EXACTLY the same as the higher end Monster cable except no Monster logo and no Monster price (pun intended).
As for performance, there is nothing wrong with this cable - works great. I have it connected from a 1.3a compliant Toshiba A35 HD DVD to a 1.3a compliant Onkyo SR705 Receiver then up to a 1080p LCD. Picture, sounds, everything is excellent.
Don't waste your money on more expensive cables.
Good quality for price. By A10SJIH3I3602 on 2007-12-04
Works just as well as all the other overpriced brand name cables (you know who you are!) Have this hooked up to my PS3/ Blu-ray and the picture on my 62" TV in 1080i is awesome (sorry, don't have 1080p to comment on). Comparing pictures with an older $3 HDMI cable attached to an upconverting DVD player showed only subtle difference. Sound is definately improved as the v1.3 HDMI supports better sound standards. Don't be suckered into paying extra for an over-hyped brand name!
Buy This Cable!!! By A339ISIC2MP2BU on 2008-02-07
I purchased this cable to hook-up my PS3 to my Vizio HDTV and it works awesomely! I knew nothing about HDMI cables until I did some research and took a chance with purchasing this less expensive wire, and I'm so happy that I did. Before purchasing this cable, I used the basic cables that came with my PS3 to hook-up with my TV and the graphics were horrible. I almost spent $50 or more on a different, so-called "high-end" HDMI cable until I saw this wire and took a chance. Now, the graphics of my PS3 and Blu-ray DVD's look just as good as all the display models you see in stores. I couldn't be happier with this cable; my games and DVD's look awesome, I saved God knows how much money, and I'd recommend this cable to anybody. (February 2008).
1 worked 1 didn't By A3NXI6PIPIL4HG on 2008-03-12
I bought two of these at the same time. Plugged one into the PS3 and the other into the HD cable box. A day later, I had no cable signal. After messing around with it for hours, I finally ran a test by connecting each cable to 3 different input sources, the PS3, an HD camcorder, and the cable box. One cable worked on all three, the other wouldn't work at all. Amazon return policy means this problem didn't cost me any money but I did waste quite a bit of time trying to figure out why I had no signal.
So either these things are incredibly fragile and literally unpacking and plugging them in can cause damage (note I see no damage to any part of the cable) or one was defective.
The one that works has been handled just the same and has no problems, great picture, etc.
5 Star By A3DIF7AVJVSIQP on 2008-01-27
After a couple of weeks with this cable and a new 120hz 1080p tv, I have found no faults with this cable. I payed something like $22 for this cable compared to the $130 for the name brand cable. It processes at 10.2 gps of which makes blu-ray movie experience awesome! I do recommend this cable over the name brand!
- thought i had a deal...
     By A1HOGHL27A02MP on 2008-06-11
I had a bad experience with this product. Worked great for about 2 weeks, and then I had to move. When I went to disconnect the end that was in my A/V receiver the cable came out, but the gold metal cover came off. Looks like the little bit of solder they used wasn't strong enough. I looked at the other end, and it seemed to be fine. As far as audio or video, the cable worked fine. If you never touch the cable, it might work for you.
- good for a little while
     By A24SDFQWN8HVAK on 2008-06-14
I recieved this product 2 months ago and it was working perfect up untill a week ago. It just stoped. The picture would not go through. I've been very caregful not to bump anything up to it. I'm not sure what caused this failier but it is a disapointment and a inconvenience.
- very poor quality
     By A1AZG5KS8TELC4 on 2008-07-10
the head of the cable broke off with minimal force. very poor quality. would not recommend.
- No need to spend more
     By ALNKGF4ITOIIU on 2008-08-28
This won't be the first or last review you've read that says this, but I'm gonna say it again: there is absolutely no need to spend $60, $80, $100+ on expensive cables by Monster and other similar companies. I bought this cable for use with my newly-purchased PS3 and it works just fine.
- Great cables for the 1080p

Cables Unlimited Premium 3 Meter Version 1.3 HDMI Home Theater Cable (PCM229503M)
I was looking for some great cables for my setup without having to drop a ton of cash for the Monster cables. I LOVE THESE! NIce nylon lined and high quality. I have my XBOX 360 and PS3 hooked up to my Samsung 1080p with these and I'm getting superior beautiful quality. I couldn't ask for more and am very pleased. I recommend these to everyone. Don't buy into the Monster Cables..

     By A1O50R69DHTJTU on 2008-05-08
We noticed a small difference using these cables. The price was right. But I think you can find the same thing at Best Buy, Home Depot or Wal-Mart for the same price or less (and no shipping).
- Cable End Came Off
     By A1DEBIYHNZ06RE on 2008-06-13
Like another reviewer, when I removed the end of this cable from my Denon A/V receiver, the gold connector part of the end came (sheared) off, quite easily. Returning it and going with a different option.
- Bought Two and only one worked
     By A2DGVSUUESWS56 on 2008-07-05
The product works fine, when it works. I bought a set of two of these and only one of them worked. I have not sent it back because after shipping it back to the company, i've spent about half of the original purchasing/shipping charge. So I just sucked it up as a loss. The one that DOES work works fine.
- HDMI Cable
     By A3LORZDRAM6543 on 2008-02-11
Excellent price and received in timely manner, but cable did not work right out of the box. Took a week to get a response to my e-mail to get a return authorization number. Sent back to shipper for replacement and have heard nothing for three (3) weeks . . . one month out and still waiting . . .
- Not the same as pictured
     By AYFZ03UQY6OBT on 2008-02-24
I ordered this cable, and it is not the same cable pictured. So don't believe the shill that says its the exact same as the Monster cable, because it isn't. I'm giving it two stars because it does work, but I'm not sure if it is any better than some of the cables I've seen on Amazon for under $10.
- AWESOME!!
     By A5AJMYPVHLBB5 on 2008-03-04
Bought 2 of these, 1 for my cable box and 1 for my XBOX 360. There was no way I was gonna pay $75 or more for the same cable I got for this price. They work EXACTLY the same!!! My XBOX 360 looks CRAZY!!!!!!!! The HD channels through my cable are unbelievably clear!! I think if you are looking for an HDMI cable capable of 10.2Gbps, this is the one!!
- Top of the Line
     By A3KHBO3RG08XMY on 2008-03-18
These cables are totally legit. I bought three at the same time, and all three put out a better picture than my $75 Monster Cable. On the bright side, the Monster Cable will make a nice paper weight...
- HDMI home theater cable
     By A1QP14YPCEARDE on 2008-04-13
I bought two of these cables and I was very impressed when they arrived. They are heavy duty cables with a very durable cord. The material on the cord is different from the norm, its sort of like a fish net coating. Its cool. One is out of my Xbox 360, and the other is out of an upscaling DVD player w/ HDMI, which up converts DVD's to 1080i- they work phenomenal.
In fact, I just ordered two more... one for a direcTV HD box and the other for a PS3 player for blu-ray discs.
- Nice cable
     By A36FFLU8P4AGHP on 2008-04-15
Cable works well, I see no quality issues. The ends are built from sturdy plastic. A solid, fairly inexpensive cable.

good sturdy connections. i bought this one to replace another set i had earlier that had cheep housing and fell apart with 6 months. this set seems to be made of sturdier material and put together in a better manner.
- VERY SLOOOOOOOOW SHIPPER
     By ATE7CSA21EVWV on 2008-06-21
Product was shown as "in stock"... but it took nearly 2 weeks before it was placed in the mail. Disappointing.
- Awesome cable!!!
     By A2X6XCU3H8N8G3 on 2008-07-05
This is a fully fuctioning HDMI cable. It is a pure steal at this price compared to what you find in retail stores.
- HDMI
     By A3V5R2NLURKWPC on 2008-07-16
The cables unlimited HDMI cable has worked perfectly so far. It has been
over a month or so since I received it and have no complaints what so ever.
Delivery was fast, even with the free basic option. Great, quick service.
Highly recommended.
- very poor quality
     By A1QH8IM5W468E5 on 2008-07-30
bad bad bad, the head of the cable broke off with minimal force. very poor quality. would not recommend
- Does everything I need it to...excellent for the price.
     By A2K9GVYAPKVVDX on 2008-08-03
I have two of these HDMI cables. One connects my Pioneer DV-400V-K Multi-Format 1080p HDMI Upscaling DVD Player to my Samsung HLT5687SAX 56-Inch Slim LED Engine 1080p DLP HDTV. The other connects my Motorola DCT6400 DVR to my Samsung HLT5687SAX 56-Inch Slim LED Engine 1080p DLP HDTV.
I do not transmit audio over HDMI as audio is handled by my non-HDMI-capable receiver, so I cannot speak to the audio quality of this cable. However, I have been using these cables for the last 3+ months and have never had any issue with them. The image quality from my upscaling dvd player is beautiful. Same goes for the 720p content coming from my dvr. I'm very glad I did not spend extra money on more expensive HDMI cables when this cable does exactly what I need it to do.
- What absolute TRASH!
     By A3UJTBYF7OGUAO on 2008-08-31
I can't believe anyone enjoys these. It implies that they connected them ONCE right out of the box, and NEVER again had to touch them. Mine worked for 24 hours as I had it connected to one source. The MOMENT I removed it from the unit to plug it into my xbox, the head popped right off....done, trashed, finito, $20 down the drain.
TOTAL GARBAGE! I had read others here state the same thing and thought maybe they had snagged it out or been aggresive with it. Trust me, it pulls right off. Its made from the worst and weakest parts ever. Total disappointment.
Spend an extra $10-20 and get something that will actually stand the test of time. More than 24 hours that is.
- Great cable, Excellent company
     By A2BA8RUYYOYM4H on 2008-09-13
Cables unlimited makes excellent cables and is a highly reliable company. This is one of a few orders and each came on time, or earlier than promised and intact in package.
- Why pay more?
     By A3T0LQU40KRLZP on 2008-09-17
Replaced a (borrowed) $70 Monster cable with one of these. Works just the same. Bought another for my new Sony BDP-350 (see my review). These cables are well made and have a protective sleeve making them extra rugged. In fact, if I could criticize them at all it would be that they are just a little stiff because of the sleeve, making them slightly harder to manage than cheaper versions. As I add more HDMI capable equipment, I will simply buy more of these cables.
- Flimsy!
     By AMG3CZHKL07O2 on 2008-09-26
These cables are flimsy and not manufactured correctly. I installed and then had to remove them to reposition my direcTV box. I was left with frayed wires in my hand and the clip end of the cables stuck in the directTV box. Returned and used the regular cables that came with the box. I now question any product manufactured/sold by Cables Unlimited.
- High Quality HDMI cable

Cables Unlimited Premium 2 Meter Version 1.3 HDMI Home Theater Cable (PCM229502M) Works as well as Monster cables but without the high price tag. Excellent product.
