• Sole was comfy, upper had a pressure point though

  The look of these and the comfort of the sole were great. They gave plenty of room to my wide feet. The upper however dug into the top of my foot and was extremely uncomfortable. It was simply a bad design. Just one point of the whole upper pulled down as you walked forward, almost as if you had a small rope holding it down. What I had to do was put thick moleskin underneath at the back of the upper, and I had to take a razor and slice the edges at the base on both sides of the upper, this allowed the upper a little more movement so it didn't cut in so badly. I would have been a lot happier after having to go through all this if the thongs were only about $10.

  I love these--so much so that I just bought two pair in black. I own 9 pairs in 5 different colors. The tightness varies some from shoe to shoe, so try before you stick these in your closet. Also they stretch over time with wear, especially if you sometimes wear toe socks with them. I used to wonder why Columbia offered so many thong designs, but I tried them all and only these fit me. Clearly they offer different shoes for different feet! If the Nassau doesn't work for you and you like the sport thong and the footbed, try one of the other Columbia models.

  I have had Columbia flip flops before and was expecting to get a comfortable shoe. That's exactly what I got. The strap across my foot is very flexible and stretchy. They stay on my feet good and I don't have any problem walking in them. I don't have any problem with them at all! My feet are more on the narrow/thin side. Great shoes at a great price.

• Most comfortable ever

  I was recently diagnosed with a heel spur. Needed shoes that would support my arch. Easy to find in the winter, or you can just buy those inserts for closed shoes. But I can't wear closed shoes in the summer. I tried about 4 different thongs - none of them worked - my foot would still hurt. UNTIL I tried these. I LOVE them. They are comfortable, have arch support, and are stylish enough for me to wear to work. I'm back now to buy another pair. They were a little tight on top, but after only 3 times of wearing them, they stretched out perfectly and don't hurt one bit.
