  Having purchased numerous mattress pads (because most of them are utter garbage) I was very impressed when I received this. The actual padding is very nice and a lot thicker than most pads I've seen and also doesn't look like you picked it out of a dollar store (it has a quality look to it, 300 thread count, I believe).
  
  Now, where this really shines is the part where it isn't padded (the fabric that goes on the side of the bed that you tuck in). Most pads have this weird filter-looking material that you can easily poke your finger through. This pad has a very nice quality material thats quite stretchy but very durable. This is a quality pad and I expect it will last me a long, long time.

  I read reviews before purchasing this mattress pad and noticed that there was a commment on drying this item. I figured that if I followed the washing instructions, I would be fine. I purchased the pad, LOVED how it fit and felt on my bed... and then washed it about a week later. I followed the directions and used low heat. However, when I took the mattress pad out of the dryer, the backing had melted the whole thing into a ball! When I tried to pull it apart, tiny melted pieces dropped all over my floor. I'm trying to return the item now, but it's a hassle. On top of all that frustration, my Eqyption Cotton sheets were in the dryer at the time and are sporadically covered in patches of tiny melted plastic, also. SO, it's fits and feels great... but if you dry it, do not use ANY heat!

  I was not as impressed with this pad as other reviewers. It is adequate & will serve its purpose. Amazon lists the regular price at $80. It is more like a 40-50 $ item. Would sell for 15-25 on sale at a place like Kohls.

  I am Very pleased with this cover. So pleased that I came back tonight to order a second one. I decided on this one based on all the reviews and am returning to say that they are all accurate. It is soft and does not have a crinkle sound. It appears superior to any of the others I have purchased in the past.

  I haven't even gotten as far as opening the package and already know that I was taken. The product description on Amazon says this item lists for $70.00 new. Ha! Says right on the manufacturer's packaging that list was $24.99. I'm tempted to send it back for that reason alone... Seems like bait and switch to me.

  This is not a mattress pad - it is a mattress cover. It is about as thick as two sets of sheets and is not worth the money - no matter how cheap it is. Don't waste your time or money.

  i took it out of the package and carefully followed the care nstrcutions for washing it. When i took the maress pad out of the washer (before even drying it) bottom layer had begun to deteriate and come a part. the top layer is still fine and i cannot notice any problems with it while its on my ed but i wonder about how long it will last.

  This is an EXCELLENT mattress pad for the price! I was so impressed when I received it that I bought two more! It has a really nice cotton cover and is much better quality than I expected.

  This is supposed to fit up to a 21" mattress. Wrong. The workmanship is so poor it doesnt even have an elastic bottom to tuck it in. The overstuffed top is nearly none existant. Do yourself a favor dont order this. I cant wait to return it.

  As with any product, you can get a defective item. The first mattress pad arrived with broken stiches that continued to unravel after washing. Amazon promptly replaced and I've had no problems with the second one. Pad is very soft & fits my pillow-top mattress without any problems. I machine wash & dry on delicate cycles weekly with no problems. I've had it for approximately 2-3 months and it still looks & feels like new. Pad is very durable & soft. I highly recommend and will be purchasing more for other beds in my home.

  Mattress pads/covers are those necessary evils that are frequently disappointing, but we buy them anyway because they do fill an important purpose.
  
  This mattress pad is Wally World priced but you are getting Bloomie's quality. This is a top quality mattress cover with a high thread count, soft thick top, with really excellent sides. Many mattress covers are good on top, but won't stay on your bed because the sides are too stretchy or the fabric is too thin. This mattress pad stays where you put it which is a major plus.
  
  If you've been thinking of buying a mattress pad, but have been putting it off because it is usually a pretty disappointing purchase, consider buying this one. I don't think you'll be disappointed !

  Amazon says this mattress pad is an $80 value and they're not kidding. You get outstanding materials and fabrication, and the sizing is perfect. Good thickness, too. I don't know how they sell it for $20.
  
  I used Super Saver shipping and they estimated a couple of weeks. The order was processed quickly and sent via UPS 2nd day. The box arrived three or four days after I placed the order.

  I bought this as a replacement for an expensive mattress pad that I didn't like because it was too slippery on the back. This mattress pad is very thick and sturdy. The side elastic is not the yucky gauze stuff but a nice knit. It says it is for the thicker mattresses but i'm using it on a 9" mattress and it is just fine there also!

  I just got this mattress cover and I am impressed. I wanted one that was deep enough to cover our nice mattress plus the 3" of memory foam that we have on top and it does the job beautifully. I was worried that it would seem cheap because it was so inexpensive, but the quality is quite good. I would definitely recommend.
  
  
• Be careful when you DRY this item!

  When I first opened the package, I thought this item was a super bargain for the price (I have a very deep plush pillow-top mattress).
  Then I pre-washed and dried it (on delicate/low setting), and discovered that the non-cotton batting/interior lining had melted in a few places.
  Luckily, the melted spots were few, but they're enough to pretty much ruin the product. As a work-around, I've turned it inside out so that the rough, melted interior spots don't abrade against my mattress (I can hardly feel them through the fitted sheet). Sounds pretty hokey, but it's still on my bed instead of in a landfill.
  
  TLDR version: if you dry this item in a normal/home dryer, keep a sharp eye on it--even if it's on your dryer's lowest setting!

  has a fantastic bed wrap that is stong, not the paper-like material some lower end mattress pads have, and has a substantial weight. Soft and not crinklely. You can not beat this matress pad for the price. In fact, I have a couple of Ralph Lauren mattress pads and this one gives those expensive pads a run for the money!

  This mattress pad is very well-made with stretchy cloth sides and a quilted top. I bought it to keep a 2 inch thick foam pad in place on top of my mattress, and it works beautifully--no slipping or shifting. I haven't had to adjust it once.

  I bought this mattress pad based on the price and the numerous positive reviews. I have to say that it goes beyond my expectations. The pad has the perfect amount of padding and is very soft. The pockets are extremely deep. It more than fits our double pillow top bed. The sides are made of a very soft and durable spandex-like material. I did read a review about the back of the pad being plastic or falling apart after washing. Mine has no plastic that I can find and seems very durable. I'm not sure how it would melt to sheets in the dryer. If you are looking for a great quality mattress pad at a very reasonable price, this is the one to get.

  For under fifteen dollars this is an exceptional mattress pad. The sides are a very heavy and opaque nylon tricot fabric ( like a slip) and the top a very close woven cotton fabric- it is substantial and heavy, came in a clear zippered bag- I really don't understand how this could be manufactured and shipped and sold at this price-and how Amazon could make a profit on this. Get it while it is still available- you won't regret it.
  
  
• You Get What You Pay For

  With a 2.5 inch foam topper, my mattress is 14 inches deep. This cover, which identities itself as queen size, probably measures an exact 60X80 when stretched and may fit mattresses up to 22" deep BUT I seriously doubt that it will retain these dimensions after a wash.
  
  The top does cover the top of the mattress - barely. The sides do cover the sides of the mattress but there is very little extra fabric to tuck under the mattress. I think the claims of fitting a mattress much deeper than mine are very exaggerated,
  
  The quality is fine...all the threads are where they should be but I would have preferred a bit more generosity in terms of fabric - both on the top and the sides - and would have been willing to pay a bit more for that.
  
  It's worth the $20 it costs....barely.

  I was delightfully surprised with the quality of this mattress pad when I unwrapped it.I expected a lightweight since the price was so reasonable but its a plush heavy duty well made cover.It replaced a much more expensive cover.I am well pleased,it has wide sides for my deep mattress and I recommend this product .

  The product quality is good and it is a nice mattress pad. The only problem I have with it is on the label it does not say whether it fits a king, queen etc. I bought 2 of them and it was trial and error to figure out which size they were after washing them.
