Fisher-Price Sesame Street Pizza Party Elmox$12.73
    (57 reviews)
Best Price: $29.99 $12.73
This Elmo features as it is serving up some deep-dish delights at his pizza party. It is dressed in an adorable apron and hat, Elmo takes the stage with pizza in hand. Press his hand to hear him sing a silly pizza song as he sways from side to side. During the song, the pizza comes alive -moving its eyes and mouth-and sings along with Elmo. It requires 4 "AA" batteries, which are included and it measures 11" tall. Who doesn't love Elmo from Sesame Street? Now the cuddly red character comes to life in your own home, and he's cooking up some big fun. Recommended for children 18 months old and up, the Fisher-Price Sesame Street Singing Pizza Elmo will delight kids and adults with his singing and dancing. More Than A Stuffed Toy In his package--a cardboard diorama of an Italian kitchen--Singing Pizza Elmo stands with one arm extended and the other holding a pizza. Covered in velvety polyester material, Elmo is dressed in a red and white checkered apron and a plush cotton baker's hat. Much more than a stuffed toy, when Elmo's extended hand is pressed, he begins to move and talk. "Let's sing the pizza song together," he says, and begins his lighthearted pizza pie song and dance.

Elmo's lovable friend has eyes that open and close, and a mouth that moves to the music. View larger. | Who Ordered The Talking Pizza? But Elmo isn't alone! The best part about this Sesame Street toy is the surprise singing pizza. Elmo's lovable friend has eyes that open and close, and a mouth that moves to the music. With a face made from pepperoni, mushroom and green pepper toppings, the talking pizza is made from soft rubbery plastic. Put To The Test While Elmo is soft to touch on the outside, his song and dance moves require hard plastic insides that make him too uncomfortable and heavy to be carried around by young children like a regular stuffed toy. Parents should also take note that this battery-powered toy is surface washable only. On the other hand, Singing Pizza Elmo's firm, plastic feet keep him standing on any flat surface--making him the ideal toy for stationary play and as a room decoration. An instant delight for kids, Elmo's cute voice brings smiles and laughs to babies, toddlers, and young children alike. At first parents will be charmed as well. The song and dance lasts around a minute, and it can only be stopped by switching the toy off. Elmo freezes immediately wherever he is; when turned back on, he starts his song from the beginning. Even if parents opt to take the batteries out from time to time for some peace and quiet, the adorable Elmo is still bound to bring joy to little ones. Pros - Delights children with their favorite character's voice and singing
- Pizza comes to life with moving eyes and mouth
- Elmo sways and dances to the music
- Ideal for stationary play and decoration
Cons - Made with hard and heavy inside materials
- Surface washable only

Call a priest, this thing is pocessed By A1VS1LL905P5L5 on 2007-10-13
OK, I don't have kids and I got this thing as a gag gift. But it has more smiles per gallon that anything I've seen in a while. The tickle-me-elmo is just plain annoying unless you're 2 or have had unfortunate head trauma recently. But this thing is so bizarrely funny that I'm considering doll-napping it to fire up on rainy days or after scratching off another losing lottery ticket. The singing pizza is the piece-de-resistance, no pun intended. It will give you pause next time you order a slice for fear that you're eating an endangered species. Like eating dolphins or puppies.
So Cute! By A2712S7TP8K2PA on 2007-09-09
I saw this while looking for a toy for my grandson's birthday. Although I'm not getting this for him (he's going to be one) I'm getting it for myself! I work in the office of a large pizza chain and my fellow employees are gonna love it! It's so cute!
amazing elmo By A1EME6LBA4HRFM on 2007-08-17
What a adorable little guy the pizza just comes alive. So cute my grandson will be so amazed can't wait till christmas morning to see his expression on his face. Wow even my teenage son got a kick out of it.
My baby loved it but might still be too young for it By A24FWCMHHS50RF on 2007-08-23
I showed this to my 10 month old son in the store. I tend to show him things while we are shopping and talk to him about the things we see. WHen I showed him the Pizza Elmo, his face lit up and he started clapping EVERY TIME Elmo would sing the song. Even though the package said 18 months and up, we got it anyways. We figured we would just supervise him with it. He LOVES it. I have never see him like this with any toy. BUT - perhaps it is best to follow the guidelines. We bought it on Monday and it was broken by Wednesday. Perhaps he broke a motor or something by hugging it so tight when it was singing and dancing. We tried to change the batteries, but he will just start the song and then stop suddenly right in the middle. I may try to exchange it for a new one because I don't really know why it quit working, but I'll have to put it away for a while and give it to him when he's a little older.
cute, cute, cute By A1WURQVHTRRUP5 on 2007-12-08
My daughter just opened a pickup/delivery pizza place. She has Elmo
standing on the front counter for all to enjoy. He us just so cute
and sings great too. So does the pizza!
She didn't want to destroy all of the surroundings
that came with the box so she just cut off the top of the box and he is
now displayed with the pizza boxes that came with him, and back of the box scenery. However, For anyone getting this for their child, I think they will be taking the batteries out after a couple of days. I think it's a great novelty.
- Entertaining for all of 10 minutes...
     By ASEIPMC58CWA on 2007-11-19
While it is an amusing toy, it doesn't really stand to ever be a child's favorite.
It only sings one song, and the pizza tells one joke. There's nothing else it does - no variation whatsoever.
It also has no volume control, and is dangerously, not to mention obnoxiously LOUD. The speaker is internal, so you can't muffle it either.
While we've only had it for a matter of hours, I worry about the stability of it as well. With a child, the pizza could easily break and cease to function, ruining the whole element of the song.
So, it's cute... play with it in the store, or at a friend's house, but don't buy it.
- Quite Amusing
     By A1UE59IXZMRCNX on 2007-12-13
When the plastic pizza face comes to life, it is freakishly entertaining and you can't keep your eyes off of it. I ended up keeping it for myself instead of giving it to a kid.
- VERY entertaining for my 1-year-old daughter

Purchased the Pizza Elmo on-sale for my one-year old daughter for Christmas. She absolutely LOVES it! While the TMX Ernie seems to scare her, the Singing Pizza Elmo grabs her attention. More-so than the wrapping paper and boxes. (Probably the only toy that truly did so.)
My wife and I also enjoy the song and have been singing it to her.
With that said, the pull-tab to take the toy out of "demo" mode and into permanent mode (so it sings more than just the "Yummy, Yummy, It's a Pizza Pie, Yummy, Yummy, you toss me in the sky" into the full song, did NOT work. Pulled the tab, still sang the same song.
Upon doing some podiatry work on Elmo's foot, I was able to remove the plastic housing that contained the plastic strip. No remnants were left. I thought it was perhaps a circuit that needed to be made, so briged it with a piece of wire. Thing worked great. Put it back together, went back to "demo mode". Disassembled again... Realized there is a switch that presumably the plastic strip was supposed to depress, but once removed, no longer depress. Re-wired to bypass the switch and the thing works just fine.
Accordingly, I'll be writing a letter to Fisher Price for their apparent lack of quality control on this. I had purchased another Fisher Price toy for my daughter with similar problems (admittedly the other toy was second-hand, so can't entirely blame it on them), but there appears to be a lack of quality wiring. You could say you get what you pay for, and in my case, I probably did, but if one were to pay anywhere near the 'retail' price for this, it would be abhorent for this type of quality issue.
- best toy song I've ever heard
     By A2KZG1N78I9JJ1 on 2007-11-15
My 2-year old son loves this toy and so do I! I was on a business trip and had this song in my head for about the first 3 days - and it's not too terrible - pretty clever. The only downside is that he's only had it for a few weeks and it's starting to make a clicking noise. Hopefully it's not about to break, but the sound isn't too annoying and the toy is very funny.
- I'd love to give this 1 star.... but....
     By A2UQ74E3R2J1H2 on 2007-12-09
My 2 year old daughter is just mesmerized by this. She could watch it over and over again. So, anything that keeps her attention for more than 2 seconds is okay with me!
She even watches this video over and over.
The little pizza sings along with Elmo. I don't think it does much more than that. So after her playing with it at the store for 20 minutes, I didn't buy it. When I saw it here MUCH cheaper and free shipping, I just had to order it!
- Fun!!!!!
     By A3PA1Z2I6X7YLK on 2007-12-15
This toy is as cute as it can be. More cute than the Tickle Me Elmo's that fetched a hefty sum not too long ago. His voice is clear when he sings his pizza song, and the movement fluid. You can't help but sing along!
- Cute, but annoying!
     By A14LQAUFSQFXJL on 2008-01-14
I got this for my 2 year old. He loved watching the little video online, so I figured he like the real one as well. He's played with it a couple times and likes to dance to the song, but gets tired of it quickly. I think the song should be a little shorter.
I don't like the fact that there's no volume control on it. It's so loud! It's also pointless for this to come with the cardboard pizza boxes. They all have holes in them from where they were tied into the box, so they're not even worth playing with (if they're even supposed to be).
It's pretty cute the first 50 times, but my husband wanted to throw the thing out the window after a while!
- My Child Loves this Battery Hog
     By A1CJGK9E8MKD9A on 2008-01-14
I have a 1 year old boy. He loves this toy. He dances when it sings and touched the pizza's mouth when it talks. My child does not like riding in the car, but if we bring this toy it calms him down and he does fine. But, IT SUCKS DOWN BATTERIES LIKE NOBODIES BUSINESS. It has a battery compartment in both feet. If it stops sing part of the way through, It needs the batteries replaced.
- Cute, Cute, Cute
     By A1R6FWRY0T9OYA on 2008-01-23
I normally don't write reviews but I'll make an exception in this case. I gave Pizza Party Elmo as a Christmas Gift to my 4 year old cousin. The look on his face when he opened the package was nothing short of unforgettable. Elmo is one of his favorites anyway but dressed in a brightly colored apron, with his chef's hat on, and holding his favorite food was almost too much. His face lit up and he could hardly wait for his dad to get Elmo out of the packaging. But the best part was the singing pizza. By this time the adults were hooked also. This toy is well worth the $. Cute, Cute, Cute!
- Nice headache toy
     By A1VDFOO7KXJYE9 on 2008-04-06
My son really enjoy this toy and plays the song over and over. My son never gets tired of the song but there are others in the household that it drives us crazy.
- The most annoying toy ever invented
     By A379L42SIBKD15 on 2008-04-18
My child seems to love it. I think it's part of the Fifth Circle of Hell. I cannot wait for the batteries to die. This requires no imagination from children and gives them very little incentive to actually play with it. I don't think toys should have to be watched.
- TOO CUTE!
     By A1PUMSHKEF5BGC on 2008-07-16
I bought this for my then 18 month old nephew. He dances and sings along with it. It is adorable! I am going to buy one for my 9 month old at Christmas time.
- Pizza, Pizza
     By ADWUO66W68K6D on 2008-08-27
I bought this for my niece for Christmas last year, she went bananas for this thing. A few more songs would be great but for the price it's well worth the money.
- Pizza Elmo was a hit at my nephew's party.
     By A19H5U3TZRN7U9 on 2008-09-23
The 2 to 6 year old grandchildren loved the singing pizza Elmo. We finally had to have Elmo "take a nap" so we could rest our ears. The only problem we had was the 2 year olds wanted to hold the pizza in their hands and would squeeze it, needs adult supervision for the toy's safety. Little ones will love it to pieces, but it held up to all the loving.
- Cute enough
     By A4LXJHAJZG7GW on 2007-12-17
I love that the pizza sings along and the toy is adorable, but that's about it. It doesn't have too much more going on for it. It sings and swings the pizza around. Overall it's a nice enough toy but it isn't really exciting. But for the price of 7.50 I couldn't pass it up.
- Fun to Watch, Listen and Sing along
     By A3R31DQNYRFNS on 2007-12-20
Its a great toy, so much fun and my 15 months old boy, plays over and over with this elmo.. He likes to touch the pizza'a eyes and mouth...
- Simply one of the cutest singing Elmo out there...
     By A3MC31PD4S838A on 2007-12-20
My 3 & 5 yr kids and even me and my wife abs loved it. Many a times, we find ourselves singing or humming that tune... "Yummy Yummy, its a pizza pie..."
:)
You got to buy one for your kids or even yourself.
- Elmo is a hit at our house
     By A2ZN300Z4CM0PG on 2007-12-24
Our 23 year old son showed us this toy on line at Thanksgiving. We all thought it was pretty cute. We were surprised when he asked for it for Christmas. I wasn't going to buy it until I found it on sale for a great price. He just opened it and Elmo is as cute in real life as in the video. The song is fun and the singing pizza is great! Our 1 year old son was enraptured with the pizza and kept touching the singing mouth on the pizza. It's as cute as any tickle me Elmo or Cookie Monster toy we have seen. It is a toy that you can't help but smile and laugh along with. Makes any day a good one when you turn him on! Fun for all ages!
- It's cute, but smaller than I thought
     By A10DBNGVY8XMGL on 2007-12-26
We have the Hokey Pokey Elmo and so I was expecting this Elmo to be as big as the one we already own. It's about half the size. However, it is really durable since it's already been dropped a ton of times in one day!
Yes, the song can get a bit repetive and annoying after the 10th time, but the kids (2 1/2 & 5 years old) like it so much and are so entertained, I really can't complain.
It's a bit on the pricey side at full price, but if you can get it on sale, snap it up!
- My daughter sings this all day long! AWESOME TOY!
     By AYF2Z3O74NJVV on 2007-12-27
Adding this toy to my daughter's collection was a must, she is 23months old and has always been a huge fan of Elmo. It is a bit loud, but then again so are kids!! Let the kids have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Loud!
     By A2KP958TDEFWPF on 2007-12-28
The good news is my daughter loves it. She's an Elmo and a pizza fan so she's thrilled with it. The bad news is...every adult in the house wants to chuck it outside. It's very loud and there is NO volume control. I'm seriously considering 'operating' on it tonight to find the speakers and then sewing it back up before morning. It also only does two things. It sings a song about making pizza and it tells a joke. I got it on clearance so I can't complain TOO much...
- Funny little pizza face!
     By A1P93UNA8U2342 on 2007-12-28
My son thinks the pizza is hilarious! He is 11 months old and just can't get enough of this Elmo toy.
- Every kid love Elmo and this one is toy no different
     By A15AQXDR7YBT6V on 2007-12-29
As soon as we pinch his hand my daughter's smile is her largest!! She finds the pizza pie funny that it talks. She is 15 months old and it lights up her life.
- Get Ready to Sing the Pizza Song!
     By A3Q2V98HC98C79 on 2007-12-30
I bought this for my 3-year-old nephew and he liked it quite a bit, but my 5-year-old son was even more mezmerized by it. The singing pizza is pretty adorable! Beware that the tune to this little guy really sticks... it won't be long before you find yourself humming the Pizza Song incessantly. "Yummy, yummy, it's a pizza pie...."
- 7 year olds love it
     By A2SQA5FXQXOW25 on 2007-12-31
Got this thinking of my now 2 year old. Well he doesn't care that much for it, but my 7 year olds love it. They love that the pizza has eyes and sings. I find Elmo horribly annoying, but whatever makes them smile!
