• Good chat headset

  I had an old USB headset that was much more expensive. I didn't want to use yet another USB port or get yet another USB hub so I found this headset and based on the reviews bought it to talk via Skype, ICQ, MSN, etc. primarily with people in Russia and Estonia. It attaches to the sound card on your PC.(I did have to disconnect the speakers to attach it so it's one or the other) The first time I used it, I was surprised to find that the sound quality was as good as my internet phone which is as good as, if not better, than a land line. Subsequent conversations were less successful which may have been more a function of bandwidth and packet delivery than the Headset. It is relatively comfortable and easy to use and when I recorded a conversation on Skype, I listened to my own voice and found the quality very good insofar as I can tell how I sound.
  
  The price is right and with Amazon's great free shipping, I bought it from Amazon where because of the free two day shipping plan I have, I buy as much as possible(no. I am not affiliated with Amazon).
  
  

• Great Style, Lousy Comfort

  For all the effort and promotion Logitech put into showcasing the interchangeable colored disks, it seemed to forget the real test of headphones: comfort and sound.
  
  The sound quality is just okay. You can hear callers, but the clarity is not as good as similarly priced Sony headphones. There is static in the background and low-end bass is non-existent. But when it comes to actual headphone comfort, the Logitech is almost unusable.
  
  First off the headset pinches my temples, and waaay to painfully to suggest I might be big-headed. More like this headset was designed for children, not the adults pictured on the package. Then the earpieces have minimal padding, and as they are domed rather than flat, they put pressure on the inside ridges of my ears - not places used to headphone contact.
  
  Last but not least, the little volume control attachment on the headphone cord is a heavy weight on the line. By including a clip, Logitech suggests you should clip the headset wire to your person. That doesn't work if you, like me, take your headset off often as you move about your office.
  
  Overall, I'm not sure if I can use these headphones because of the low comfort level. I think I'd get a headache from the pressure of the headset pushing against my head, impacting my ability to concentrate on my calls. And I know I'll have it rip my clothes if I use the clip - I move too much to be clipped-in for a simple headset.

  Clarity of conversation is excellent. Headphones are comfortable yet provide somewhat of a challenge for those of us with smaller heads. However, if you stay positioned and do not make many moves this is not a problem. I would like to see some type of headset adjustment in future models.

  Just plug the headset in your USB port---and no problems. I use the headset with SKYPE. It is convenient and works well with Skype.

  Crappy headset that lasted less than 6 months. Logitech doesn't seem to want to honor it's 2 year worksmanship warranty....look elsewhere for a better product.

  This headset is very light and comfortable, provides great sound quality, and is relatively cheap. Great for long hours of gaming, voice chatting, or just listening to music. Comes with come cool color plates that you can interchange to your likes. One of the best features is that it has a built in mic on/off switch along with a volume control right on the cable for easy access. I would highly recommend this headset to anybody!

  It does have an 8 foot cord, 1/8 jacks (color-coded of course), the boom microphone is flexible so you can bend it to any position, the band does not cut into the ears.

  They may work well, but the thick plastic wedged between your ear and skull
  quickly becomes unbearable... Four stars for the mic, three for the sound, and .5 stars for the "comfort". Buy something else.
  
  
• Good Headset ... I Use Mine For Skype

  I have been searching for an inexpensive headset that performs well with Skype. Logitech has always been a trusted brand but for some reason I choose a competitor for my first headset. The ClearChat comparably was by far the superior headset to the one by GE. If you want a simple to use and easy to setup headset then the Logitech ClearChat will not disappoint. I know there are other higher end headsets to choose from but at this price point I highly recommend this product. As a side note I also like to wear hats and also wear glasses. With this headset it allowed me to wear both in comfort.
