  This boat was my best toy purchase this summer. My boys were the hit of the pool and the large moveable components allow you to change the boat into many different configurations. The motor does work and does spin the propeller when connected properly which the directions do not show you how to do, takes a little ingenuity. I would recommend this for every kid 5-8 years old.
  
  

• Giant Squid Sub

  My 5 year old grandson saw this giant squid sub on TV and asked for it for months before Christmas. We couldnt find it in the stores so I ordered it off Amazon. The service and response was great and we had it in a few days. Little Triston was elated to open his package and couldnt wait to get in the bath to play with it. He enjoys it every day now. It was a great value but the smile on my grandsons face was worth far more than the cost of the toy.
  
  
  
  

• So Much Toy for Such A Great Price

  I think this submarine toy deserves an award! Comes with a squid which is a squirty toy who's legs can be taken apart and the legs also have suction cup on each so it will stick on the sides of the tub. Then you've got the submarine with a little figurine that you can put into different compartments. The sub can be assembled in many different ways and the motor is great. Does the job but isn't powerful enough to do any damage if a little finger stops the propeller. It can also be assembled to be a hoover craft with the big propeller attaching to the motor and making the big one spin. The design of the toy is amazing. My 3 year old son received it as a gift and we had to buy one for my 7 year old son because the two were fighting over it all the time. We also bought the expensive big shark adventure toy too but this little one really packs a lot into a pretty inexpensive toy. My only wish is that there were more small water matchbox rigs toys like this one - maybe a small pirate ship and more figurines that came with the toy. Anyway, I buy this toy for my kids' friends birthdays because it's so fantastic.
  
  

• Highly Configurable, Fun Toy!

  My 3-year-old daughter has great fun in the bath with the squid sub. Its modular nature means you can integrate the sub with the squid and vice versa. The little electric motor adds a lot of fun. I suggest keeping it together in a little plastic box to prevent losing all the parts.

  Gave the squid sub and the shark boat set that can go with this and my son loves it. From day one it has been with him at bath time and he loves pull it apart and making numerous different combinations of toys. The squids legs even come off and he put them on the shark, he just thought that was the coolest thing. I would recommend this product.
  
  
• great bath tub toy

  My son loves this submarine! He plays with it in the pool, in the tub and in the lake. He loves it so much he insisted we get it for his friend. Who also plays with it all the time in the tub and pool. You can make almost 10 different kinds of water toys out of this one sub! My son loves to get creative. It is also very durable and it really does work on top of and under the water like a real sub or boat! Very realistic.
  
  
• A Boat that floats

  I have bought a number of boats for my Grandson but few of them actually float. This one does. His favorite part is the little motor. Unlike other pool toys this one actually works after getting it wet. It is not a very strong motor though and barely moves the boat. The biggest disappointment for him was that the big propellar doesn't spin. The squid has been a lot of fun too. I think this toy is a bit overpriced but it works better than all the other cheap boats we have bought to play with in the pool.

  Product came right on time. My 7 year old was very excited when he opened this gift on Christmas morning. It's great to see him using his creative imagination and interact with his friends while playing with this, versus watching TV or playing Playstation.
