Best Price: $34.99 $22.95

Little girls can experience all the joys -- and responsibilities -- of "mommyhood" with this amazingly lifelike doll. Baby Alive "drinks" juice, and then "wets" her diaper, just like a real baby! When "mom" gives her baby doll a bottle of water, the doll will wiggle and cry. That's your cue that it's time to change the diaper. Once she is changed, squeeze the doll's bracelet and she will coo and play to let you know she is happier in her dry duds.

Girls can also use the included washcloth to clean and care for their doll, and the included rattle helps keep her entertained. Doll comes with three doll diapers, T-shirt, hat, washcloth, rattle and bottle. Requires 4 "AA" batteries, included. Measures approximately 12" long.

This Wets & Wiggles doll drinks her juice, then cries when it's time to change her diaper. After changing her, mommy can squeeze the baby's bracelet to hear her coo and play. Ideal for little ones ages three through five, this lifelike doll is full of surprises and fosters a child's nurturing side.

  • Great "Real"Doll

    By AL1FFMIBPJJQ1 on 2007-10-20
My 4 year old got this for her 4th birthday and she really loves it.Its a very durable toy, she's been dropped on her head several times and has had her arms and legs bent and twisted many different ways. The doll moves really well when her bracelet is pressed(she does have an off button!) and makes clear sounding, not too loud, not too soft baby noises. But if your child is like mine, she'll want to feed it like 4 times a day to change her diaper after she tinkles(BTW,make sure when said child changes diaper it is on correctly or Baby Alive will tinkle on your carpet. But thank God its only water!).It only comes with 3 diapers.I found refils at Target for $4.00 for a 6 pack. But,jeez, her diapers per week would cost me more $$ than my daughters when she was in diapers!

  • You can use newborn Pampers or Huggies diapers

    By A3S9V8OLQENVK8 on 2007-11-29
This doll is really fun. You don't need to spend all that money on diapers. Just buy Pampers or Huggies in the size N for newborn, and that'll work. I haven't tried any of the generic brand newborn diapers, but I would think those would be alright too.

Juice packs are messy, but water works just as well and doesn't spoil. Diapers are reusable if only water is used, they just need to be put up to dry. These dolls are the one thing the girls are not yet tired of. Great value for the price, too, much less than in stores.

  • Very cute - but she scared my daughter at first

    By A1GUX6R8DV3ZLY on 2008-03-08
Baby Alive Wets and Wiggles is adorable. She has a very sweet face and makes really sweet coos and movements. Her bottle is very cute and her fingers and legs are soft. We bought this doll for our 3 year old. She immediately liked the big eyes and sweet sounds Baby Alive makes when you squeeze her bracelet. She also liked feeding her the bottle. Once Baby Alive cried we took off the diaper, just in time for the doll to pee on my daughter - the pee shot right out of the doll and onto my daughter's dress. My daughter freaked out and burst into tears and was afraid of the doll after that. She came around eventually after we told her that it was pretend pee and showed her that she had to wait a bit before taking off the diaper! Parents may want to test this out for themselves before showing the doll to young children to avoid them getting scared of the peeing action! The only other negative is that the doll is a bit heavy.

  • Sweet Doll

    By A35F3LZETNHSS8 on 2008-01-19
I got this doll for my 5yo daughter for Christmas (2007)
It was a compromise between the baby alive that poops Hasbro Baby Alive Doll, Caucasian and the sip and slurp Hasbro Baby Alive Sip 'N Slurp Caucasian Doll that isn't mechanical (= no batteries) Guess which one I wanted?
I decided that I could handle buying batteries as long as we didn't have to deal with the 'poop'.
It turns out she is very happy with it and I love the sweet baby noises that it makes. Doll is a little loud without clothes on (which is the state my daughter insists on keeping her in)because of the speaker on her tummy/chest.
She makes a funny mechanical sound right before 'peeing' which I guess is some sort of pump action, I don't know. I thought something was wrong at first but I think that's the way it works.
Overall I am happy with it and so is my daughter. It brings out the mommy instincts in her which I think is educational (as well as having to change diapers)

I have to say my daughter treats this doll like a real baby. She has set up a babysitter, feeding and sleeping schedules. It really teaches that taking care of a baby is a lot of work. I do recommend only using water in the bottle and premie diapers are a lot cheaper.

  • my girls love this doll
    By A2MSYFTKKAGBX0 on 2008-06-05
My girls love playing with this doll. The diapers would be too expensive to use all the time, so I made some washable diapers to fit it. My girls are happy because they can feed it as much as they want.

  • Great Doll!
    By A26XAKUKHTIIM9 on 2007-12-25
My 4 and 1/2 daughter got this for Christmas and she can't put it down! It was love at first sight, actually since she first saw the TV ad in November.
The doll makes a lot of cute noises, and really seems to drink the water out of the bottle. Of course, the liquid comes out the other end, so you will go through the included diapers fairly quickly. Your young one can now confront the issue of environmentalism and possibly switch to cloth diapers!

  • Cute baby
    By A1VZE1CZWZ0IME on 2007-12-26
My 5 yo daughter wanted this for Christmas. I wouldn't let her have the regular Baby Alive because I think it has an ugly face. Anyway, this doll is much cuter - but watch out when you take of the hat, she doesn't look that cute without it. As far as the diapers go, my daughter much prefers to take the diaper off and put a towel down and watch the "pee" come out. Regular newborn diapers do fit just fine, I wouldn't waste the money on the baby alive refills. She does make cute sounds, and not too loud either. My daughter also got the Baby Alive accessory pack that is a backpack that the doll fits into like a carrier and she has toted her all over the house.

  • A little messy, but fun!
    By A1BV917ENCT5AV on 2008-01-03
My daughter loves this doll. We only have had it pee a few times, and when we did it was leaking after we changed the diaper. It wasn't a big deal, we just put another diaper on. It could get pricey if your child wanted it to pee all the time, though.

  • My 2-year-old loves this toy
    By A2HC2EDMSLITB6 on 2008-01-14
We got this toy at the perfect time - about halfway into potty training and we'd hit a few barriers with our daughter. This doll pushed us over the barriers in about 24 hours and our daughter really gets the "big girl" aspect of using the potty now. Besides that, she really adores this doll. We bought newborn sized diapers - they fit great, and are waaay cheaper than the ones advertised to go with the doll.

  • Love this toy
    By A14XZ54WCABZ0O on 2008-02-15
My daughter loves this doll! Great fun doll... of course I don't use the baby alive diapers because they are generally $1 a pice... so we use other things like newborn diapers and it is still fun... my little 2.5 year old will wrap up the diaper just Like I do when I used to change her. We love the doll, and the best part is... you can make it silent! so when you are sick of hearing it cry and giggle... you just turn her off. of course the best part is to see her pee... I think this will be a great help with potty-training her.

  • Pleased 4 Year Old
    By A39BGE1WE2F18F on 2008-09-23
My daughter had been asking for a regular baby alive because her cousins all had one. After talking to their mothers and seeing the dolls after about six months of play I knew I couldn't put 60 bucks into it. The regular baby alives (and I have seen three with all the same problems) are hideous looking after being played with. Their color comes off their faces, you can't clean them, the hair falls out, and everything pretty much just works when it wants to.

After seeing this I began my research and found Baby Alive Wets'N Wiggles. What a great purchase! We got her in July. I also bought cloth diapers from Ebay so we could be environment friendly. She has been a wonderful addition. My girl carries her everywhere and takes her outside for walks. She is easy to clean, easy to feed and easy to change. The cloths are so simple to put on. I do not do any of the work. My girl can do it all. I would definatly buy this doll over and over for future daughters.

Also, when you see her in the store she doesn't do a whole lot or make a lot of noises, but when you get her out of try me mode she makes all kind of cute noises. They sound so real too. Love Love Love this doll!

  • Perfect Alternative to Pricey Baby Alive
    By AQ159BCNJQL47 on 2008-10-30
My daughter age 5 asked Santa for a Baby Alive. After looking at the other reviews on both Baby Alive and Baby Alive Wets and Wiggles, I couldn't find any reason not to purchase this baby. Wets and Wiggles is less expensive, makes cuter sounds and has better realistic baby movements. The number one feature that my five year old wanted was a baby that needed it's diapers changed. This doll is perfect for that. You can not go wrong with this one.

As a side note, my 7 year old daughter also asked for Baby Alive. I chose the Sip 'N Slurp for her. Another very affordable baby that can also drink and needs diapers changed. Together, both dolls cost less than one Baby Alive. This is another great idea for parents of two girls that routinely ask for the same thing. Hope this helps!

  • It's Not What I Expected!!
    By A27QY20BQZIMF3 on 2007-12-26
The doll is okay but I feel it lacks something. I thought it was going to be more easy to use. My daughter got this doll for christmas I must say I don't like the whole peeing thing. Is like as soon as she finished the water she pees. I thought i would take a couple of minutes. Also the diapers can't be reused. So if you buy this doll think about buying extra diapers.

  • cece just loves her
    By A3S01KZUYNPREX on 2007-12-27
Another gift for our 5 year old. She just loves her, feeds her and changes pampers really good. She keeps asking me if she is a good mom and I tell her "yes you are". A good toy for a young child.

  • so cute
    By A3UJVM1GC2RYXE on 2007-12-28
This baby sounds so real.My 5 year old loves it so much.I even think that it is cute.one thing though ,don't leave a wet diaper on her.The only thing that I don't like is that the diapers are pretty pricey.

The doll was in excellent condition and my niece loved it. It would be nice though if there were more diapers included with the doll.

  • Very Happy Little Girl
    By A1R3YB4O1IMT2N on 2007-12-31
I bought this for my daughter for christmas. She has played with it every day since then. The cooing and laughing the doll makes sounds pretty real. She has really enjoyed it.

  • Great little friend
    By A1JIV2NAW1S9WS on 2008-01-11
I got this doll for my 4yr old daughter. She doesn't play much with all of her other babies so I wasn't sure about this one, but I thought I'd give it a try. She LOVES it! She feeds it every couple of days(thank goodness). She pushes the bracelet about 30 times a day. She loves the "realistic" noises and movements that it makes. It is quite adorable to watch her "mommy" her baby.
